The app is ok but the rewards program is not worth it unless you travel on a regular basis. There is no notification through the app or text messages apparently the only way they contact you that your points are expiring is through email and if you never got the email then you lose all your points. Even if they were points you paid for. I have been staying at and promoting Holiday Inn and the associated properties for over 40 years no more. I'm done!

The rewards program at IHG is NOT rewarding! Each year at the beginning of the year I am unpleasantly reminded of the biggest drawback of this program. January 1st, you get reset to Zero Points. I have been a member for too long to remember 10+ years, maybe longer. When I must travel, I rarely am asked to travel in the first quarter...so already at a disadvantage to accumulate points then. Instead they should institute a rolling 12 month to calculate point and reward level. Today minus 365.

I've had this app for quite a while with no problems. For the last 2 weeks attempting to open, it tells me credentials are invalid. I finally went on my laptop to log in and everytime I log in the site, it unexpectedly closes with an error telling to contact customer care. Can't see points or make reservation under my account. Pointless to even have if it isn't going to work.

I use a few different hotel apps because of their rewards program I participate in and so far this is the only one that let's me choose 'traveling with pets' as a room preference. Although, I have 3 pets and it only lets me list one. This info is helpful when traveling. Most pet owners will have pets with them when moving. We are currently moving and I had to call three different hotels to find one that accepts pets!

After weeks of not being able to update, and finally doing so, the app keeps insisting that I'm inputting incorrect login information. If that were so, then how am I able to log into the account using my iPhone's app? There is a serious security issue with this "Android" version! When I tap on the sign in tab, I'll either get "access denied", "invalid credentials" or "you don't have permission to access". What is going on!? Deleting!!! Stop loading"cookie" to use the app!

I could not be more disappointed in this useless app. Regardless of whatever update (take your pick) caused this debacle, it is unacceptable that these issues haven't been resolved. Refuses login credentials and reports them as incorrect, cannot connect to the IHG server to change password... It's time to start over with a new app and development team.

Using to book hotel is great. Trying to get a problem solved not so much. There customer service is really bad, and that is after being totally frustrated trying to get to a human. Spent hours on phone only to lose contact and have to explain to another person or to be transferred and be cut off. I still have not been able to resolve my issues.

I have deleted and re-downloaded app about 10 times and the issue is still not fixed. I can log in online, but anytime I try to use the app, it doesn't allow me to. I reach out to support and all they want to do is reset my password, but it is clearly not an issue with my account rather than the app itself. I've even emailed them and have not gotten a response. I love IHG, but the app is terrible. Doesnt allow me to look at hotels because i am not signed in. Definitely needs ALOT if work.

The app is not responsive. When I go to use the keyboard on the phone, the app does not repagenate so that I can see what I am inputting. Because the keyboard slides up from the bottom, it will slide over the field on typing in and I can't see what I'm typing. This is particularly frustrating when trying to reset a password. It also happens when you try to use the chat bot. Do a little user experience research on your app and you will find all of the frustrations built into your app.

Generally, a great app experience, BUT, as a stay preference setting, they really need to add the option to ask for NO adjoining room. Trying to sleep during the day because I drive thru the night for work is nearly impossible when you can hear a very loud TV under the door. If I can't sleep here, I'll sleep driving, and people will die. Add that option, and I'll give you 5 stars.

Terrible. Once you pay the higher rate for a refundable rate, the app makes sure that "modify reservation" is "not available". They force you to call and sit on hold for 30 minutes to listen to their ads before allowing you to make a change. Digital check-in stops working 24hrs from the day of arrival. Their goal is to make it as inconvenient as possible to modify travel plans while making you pay a higher rate to think you can. Returning to Hilton Honors.

For months since you updated the app I've been unable to use it at all. Telling me I have entered in the wrong credentials, I use exactly the same information to log in on the website so that's bogus. Spoken to customer service, said it would be fixed for me, never has after numerous attempts. Tried resetting the password and the link sent takes you back to the app which you can't use to change password. Changed password on the website, still won't work in the app. You've made a garbage app!!

I'm Hyatt Globalist and Hilton Platinum, so I had a certain level of expectation when it came to a hotel loyalty mobile app. This app isn't particularly "bad" in anyway, but it does not have the features I have come to expect from Hilton and Hyatt. I cannot skip the front counter and check in from the app, I cannot use my phone as a hotel key, I cannot order a ride share direct to the hotel's location from the app. First world problems, yes, but this app feels dated by comparison.

For three days I have been unable to log in due to "invalid credentials". I reinstalled the app and changed my password. Still "invalid". The credentials are correct and work fine on my laptop or thru my mobile's browser Something is wrong with this app. Also, it will not find any destinations typed onto the search. Used to work great. Now it is horrible. I guess I'll use Hilton or Bonvoy properties app until this is fixed.

Overall the worst travel app out there with Zero improvement the past several years. It continually drops my info, log-on, password, history, etc. The site info is not updated, i.e.- the last two places we stayed the Pool was out of commission. *I need to know that Before we arrive so we can make other plans before 9p. 😠😠😠It's just plain simplier to call the hotels and speak with a person. 😒 And don't get me started on booking the resorts. Beware, it's a nightmare.

The app is easy to use for booking a stay, but navigation is a bit difficult sometimes. The app is slow even with a fast wifi connection. My biggest problem is that the checkout button has been removed. There is no way to checkout from the app. The only way you can checkout is to wait for a notification on your phone and touch the notification. This brings you to a menu on the app that cannot be accessed through the UI.

This app used to be great. The latest update (within the last month maybe) has broken it. It won't find the city half the time. The hotel info screen doesn't scroll. It constantly gets stuck on the room selection screen and won't actually let me pick a room. I live in IHG hotels for work. This app used to make it easy, now it's a PITA to try and book on the fly.

Can you please fix the map view when searching for a hotel. The hotel's banner blocks the full view of the map. I use it to see restaurants and stores around, to choose the best hotel for me. And what's the point of having the app if you don't advertise ALL the promotion offers. I had offers from my email, that don't show on my app and that causes you to miss out or start late. I would think the purpose of the app would be to have access to ALL IHG benefits.

Horrible. I wish I could use the app. I've reset my password 5 times. I have to uninstall the app to look at the website otherwise the app causes the site to crash. I can't log in to get my points when I'm trying to make reservations. It's been this way for months. I stay at other chains because of this headache but my next trip has only HI at the destination.

Latest version pushes marting notifications on a regular basis but does not provide a switch to turn it off. Of course I can suppress for the app. I guess I thought I might get a useful notification, but that may not be a feature. Honestly not sure what purpose this app serves: No check-in, digital key, and other useful features. Make reservations? So what. Faster on the browser when booking flights and cars. Lame
