I've been using iGO and predecessors for 10 years now on dedicated GPS navigators, and I had hoped to get something similar for my phone. But the user interface is bizarre and hard to understand, and there is no documentation. As if that wasn't bad enough, the maps download didn't work. After 18 hours no data at all had been transferred. In that time I installed multiple other apps, so it wasn't a network issue. iGO, you can do better than that.

IGO is installed on my "in car android driven dash board". works pretty smooth and recommended. i can update my maps once i park inside home wifi zone. Only issue is that, when driving if i have audio player running with maps , application will mute the sound card and play the navigation information to the speakers, then re-enable audio to play. But if i disable navigation audio all together, it will still mute audio out, but not play anything. this is annoying because this happens every time it reach a cross section or turning point. can you please fix that. Also day and night color change doesn't kick in at the right time. this needs to carter in daylight saving and average light loss on different countries. Performance some of the android hosts , are limited on resources, so loading the application takes more than 30secs. (1GB,nand host). it would be great if can fine tune a version to a car/truck devices.

I live in Sydney/Australia and got this app to help me navigate through the rush hour traffic. For some reason, Google Maps is not working properly on my in-dash unit. IGO user interface is good and the software runs quite fast and stable. The problem I have is the route planning itself. The route planned is less than optimal, the suggestions are sometimes not feasible at all, like, for example, right turn into a busy traffic just before a red light. When I ignore the route and drive the route I choose myself (local knowledge) the navigation pops a message "Arrival time is sooner due to change in traffic!" The route planning method is "fast". I am giving only two stars because of this as I bought the app based on the built in traffic congestion information. For me, it simply doesn't serve the purpose, money is wasted.

ينصح بعدم الشراء، لا يوجد دعم فني التطبيق يعمل بشكل جيد ولكن بعد شراء اي شي من داخل التطبيق يتعطل ويصبح غير صالح لأي استخدام, don’t buy anything inside the app if you do the app will crash and it will be useless, it was working good with the FREE TRIAL but when i decided to buy the middle east package for my car’s device, i got an error said (failure occurred 108) after buying it, i have sent 2 emails but still no response, how can it be fixed? please

This is a failed application and there is no any technical Support as I purchased this application several years ago with some of its accessories and now it does not work and gives me error 108. I have sent the complaint several times since April and there has been no response or assistance.

I advise not to buy - it is a fraudulent company, there is no technical support, and there is no one to solve your problems for you - I had a crash with mobile and forced to re-install the application I go navigation again - after installation when I go to store and try to restore my purchases, i get error message " an unexpected failure occurred [108], this error for 5 months and no way to solve this pb

Bought the Europe maps in November 2022. Changed phone and I tried to restore my purchase with no luck. I can only see the 3d maps and something else I bought. I emailed them 5 days ago attaching the Google payment confirmation but noone bothered to reply. Came here and read some reviews. Looks like I'm not the only one with this issue. Probably lost my money. Such a shame.

This is a great app I would give it 5 stars but I do have a problem with it tries to tell me how far it is to my turn off but it cuts off just before it tells me the distance to the turn off point I'm using Australian maps I've uninstall and reinstall the app and re-downloaded the maps and still does the same thing 5 stars if this problem can be fixed thanks

UPDATE: Maps were updated just over a year ago but are falling behind again to the 2+ year mark. Hopefully late 2018 or early 2019 maps will be available soon. Review will be updated if this happens in a timely manner. This app would deserve 5 stars however, due to maps being nearly 2 years out of date, the best we can rate it is 2 stars. Developer states they are working on new maps release, hopefully with 2017 maps and not Q4 2015 maps.

Please make an option to enter Full screen/immersive mode to increase the display area. The Free Driving mode without guidance needs an option extra zoom out then the app current setting when entering/driving on a motorways/freeway. Also 3D mode needs to tilt more to between 40 and 50 degrees. My car screen has a short on height(landscape mode) so could not see the up coming roads from a far. Thank you.

Recently I purcgased the paid version and it is unstable. Installed in internal memory. Latest android. All the time searching for GPS signal. When trying to download Premium geographic map package I get error message "an unexpected failure occured [102] ". All voices do not announce street name. Removed and reinstalled but did not fix any issue. Emailed developer and no response after 3 days. Now I'm seeking refund #iGo developer, have the decency to answer emails

I purchased the maps for my Android head unit. I wiped my unit and reinstalled igo. It gives me an error trying to restore my apps. Looks like I'm going to need to look into getting a refund since the service isn't being provided. Buyer beware. * Update to dev: I'm using the same account. I get "An Unexpected failure occurred [108]" whenever I try to update. This isn't related to my Google account or anything of that sort. It's a common error when I search over the web. I contacted your support for hopefully a resolution but if not I will request a refund.* Update: Support gave me new promo codes and iGo works. However now I have to figure out how to make it stop pausing my music whenever it tries to speak. *Also note that it appears you are paying for outdated maps. I'd probably recommend staying away from iGo. The app was last updated in 2018 and probably won't be updated ever again.

I put this app on my phone and I loved it. However, when I had to replace my phone because it quit working, None of my previous purchases showed up. So now it looks like I will have to buy the entire package all over again. This is really getting expensive as I had both NA and EU loaded and the voices that tell you the street names. It was resolved and I was sent promo codes for the files I had purchased. Everything is good in the world again. Thanks

4 stars for the app's nice graphical interface,particularly highway exit signs & speed limits. I like the tactile feedback when navigating menus.Lacking 5th star because of the following: Expensive to purchase ($30 for U.S. maps) compared to 5 other great GPS apps I use that are free or much lower priced. I'd be happy if I could just purchase the 1 state I live & travel in for a few dollars. Also, audio focus of the app annoyingly pauses my music(vs just reducing volume) when approaching turns.

The app works but it doesn't show the latest traffic like Waze and it doesn't show the most recent speed camera locations. I have purchased the traffic package, North America package, 3D package and pretty much any package for North America. Also you don't get alerted about the speed and red light cameras like Waze does. You only get a visual alert, not a voice alert that there is a speed camera up ahead like Waze does. It works if you you're in a cellular dead zone, so that's a plus

It's much better than it used to be, at least it works now, since I revisited it on my HU. But the shop still shows the trail version available even when you've bought it and the 3D view is only slightly flatter than 2D. And I would really like a setting to go full screen (i.e. no bar at the top) plus lack of Google Assistant voice input, puts it behind Sygic. But I would add read the reviews, there are hardly any positive ones!

The product is great, the support is as bad as it gets. I have iGO installed on 2 Android car radio head units. I just purchased the second unit one week ago. I tried to pay for the product but was only offered the Free 7 Day Trial. I downloaded the Free Trial and tried to pay for it after the download. I could not find any way to purchase. I sent an email to NaviExtras, the support team for iGO. It took 3 days to get a response, Useless! iGO failed in a motel parking lot.

App is visually appealing however it consistently gives routes that are longer, slower, more complicated than any other app. For example, a trip from Sacramento to San Jose. iGo gives a route that is 2 hours and 45 minutes where 3 other apps gives a shorter route that is 2 hours and 8 minutes. The app also does not search your contacts to retrieve an address, so you have to look it up, remember or write it down, and then switch to iGo and enter the address.

I purchased the USA version for my car some time ago and it was working well. Unfortunately, I recently had to do a factory reset my head unit and when I did, the iGo navigation app disappeared - There is no way to contact the iGo developers for a free re-install since I already paid for it... I'm NOT paying for it a second time!

App has a decent ui for navigation. But the app is *not* free - one has to buy maps to make the app functional ($30 for north america). Not only thst but the maps are, as of the time i am writing this, 6 months out of date *and* have incorrect information (example a search for Crunch Fitness shows one on a lewling blvd and says it is in alameda, except that lewling blvd isn't in alameda).
