If you're using an external monitor and switches back to device your shopping cart is gone. When you check out and click Fazer Pedido when all is ready to go and pay with Beneficios card, it simply refreshes the screen. Then you try going over all the purchases again using the browser, but your card is not there either. Useless app lacking software testing services before release to production.

the establishments are good, however, the Ifood company has been quite abusive. has now started charging a fee for orders less than $20, and that just doesn't make sense. This app purports to be free, but charges to be used by both parties (store and end customer) it's not free then. I recommend that merchants and customers migrate to other smaller but not abusive apps. here in my city I'm testing AiQFome. I'm having a great experience. And the best: REALLY FREE. I don't pay any fees... 😜

Most restaurants don't have a cellphone for contact, so if you notice a problem after a delivery is made you will not be able to contact them. I ran into that two times already and they sent my money back, but its frustrating, before this "safe delivery code" I always solved any problems through the chat with the restaurant. Also, the section to get help from ifood is really slow.

Pretty bad. It takes very long to order a single meal. Also. It is impossible to pay. I had my credit card configured and had errors with NO details when paying. I will try one more time later. If same headache happens, I will uninstall it. Updating from 2 to 1 star. There is no notification when my order is cancelled. Google pay does not work. Some other bad stuff as well

Terrible consumer experience. Some restaurants doesn't support a kind of payment, so it should have a third party to do payments whitin the app. Minimum order price shouldn't exist. If I want to order something, it doesn't matter what is the price, I should be able to, but minimum order price doesn't let you do so. And most foods are greatly overpriced for what they really are, because of the app taxes in restaurants. Delivery tracking in real time only works if the delivery man is hired fromAPP

Very bad security system I keep having problems with my deliveries like having things missing , the guy refusing to leave it at my house and this app never seems to protect from these scams, a terrible application and a complete waste of money and time. Plus you can never cancel a delivery even if the restaurant is late

The option to give the tip to the delivery guy is no longer available. There should be a clear and easy way to do it. The developers are perfectly capable to implement it.

Very bad app, hard to enter data, does not accept my credit cards. Does not have customer support. Still the worst in the market. Tried to update my credit card data, did not work. Tried to order and pay at delivery, delayed and I had to cancel. Just had another bad experience. Unbelievable.

I cant rate this app especially for the one in brazil they are cheaters l have proofs of what am saying l can post it .l asked for Mcdonald than the motorbike didn't locate me because he went to a wrong side ,now comes the good part they cancelled my request and they did not refund me back my money or offered me another alternative so they just keep all the money by them self ,meaning that they are making free money with our hard work, soon l will be dropping a video with all proofs in tik tok

The app itself is pretty good, it's easy to use and there are a ton of options to pick from. HOWEVER. The prices are (a lot) higher than what you would usually pay, due to heavy taxes charged by iFood. Also, there was a recent policy change which benefits delivery guys who don't want to work. Everytime I order something I am afraid it won't arrive, and this has indeed happened 3+ times in the past few weeks. I don't use the app as much as I used to, as to avoid fruitless waiting and chargeback

Coupons do not work most of the time, the app freezes or does not properly update the status of orders, and ultimately, the app refuses to let me login (the website works fine) by failing to send SMS or email confirmation messages with the login code.

I ordered food in a restaurant that confirmed my order and closed. I can't cancel the order for the hell of it (it's been late for over half an hour already, I called the restaurant, and they said my order is not coming). There's no support function to be found in the app, and I can't get into the refund process.

If the app has spam/promotional notifications, it should use a separate notification category for that; instead it has a single "General" category, with the setting for not receiving such type of alerts being an internal one, which the app often disregards and spam you anyway.

These people are just thieves. They will straight up rob you and call it a day. I've cancelled the "iFood Club" payments twice already, both the plan and the automatic payment, and after a month goes by, they charge the account once again. Of course, there is no refund because "it was made through an automatic payment". There is also no customer service to talk about this either.

After changing my phone, I thought I could just install iFood and access my account, but because my phone number has changed, they won't let me access it at all, even though my email is still the same. The only option I have is creating a new account, but why? My old account is still there, with all my information, I'd been using it for years. I can't believe in 2024 an app won't give me any other options to access my account!

Horrible experience for foreigners. I spent over an hour researching and setting up a complicated order. When my cart was full I tried to check out and none of the payment options would work without a Brazilian citizen number. I'm not a Brazilian! Such a waste of time.

Quite bad overall. Prices are high because the app takes a big chunk from restaurant profits, causing them to jack up their prices. Payment options are severely limited for such a popular app, they also frequently fail to work. The app itself is quite predatory and will ABSOLUTELY SPAM your phone with notifications. Also somewhat difficult to effectively navigate but that's subjective, I guess.

It spams you with all sorts of ads all over the place. It's awful! It almost forces you to buy their discount tickets, it's insane! Whenever you make an order it shows a huge screen for purchasing discount tickets, and this window never goes away! It's an insanely predatory app. It also sends notifications asking for money all the time. The app is also badly coded, and doesn't even have a dark mode.The ads for BBB are also horrendous, do they truly believe people watch that garbage reality show?

There are indeed a lot of options. However, the app itself is full of bugs, with awful user experience: my cards get randomly refused depending on the day (some days they work, some days they don't, back and forth!), an order with a refused payment method is counted as a duplicate order, the Google Pay integration is now broken, and I just had an order that was counted as successfully placed but which simply disappeared when I checked on where it was - not even in the history. Terrible.
