The game reminds me of Microsoft's Office Assistant Clippy but for ads. There are just so many and it's a non stop bombardment to watch one of 50 different ads. There is literally an ad to speed up or boost everything and the "game" lets you know it all the time. Then to top it off if you do try to play without watching any of the multitude of ads, the game then has forced ads on top of it. I wanted to like the game, it looks like an interesting concept, but it is just spam at this point.

I LOVE the atmosphere of this game. I think it is so cute for an idle game, and the background music is very well designed. That being said, the ads are insane. The ONLY option to get rid of ads is $30!!! Which is totally crazy! Most idle games have ad removal for around $1.99 and capping off at $3.99 and I'm usually good with that! But when I tell you there is an ad every 30 seconds, I mean it. Has made me consider deleting the game several times over, but it stays on my phone.

Too many ads for a great game. I love the concept, the animations, sounds, music, it's all really good and I would love to play more. I can't get passed the forced ads though, I watch voluntary ones that reward bonuses all the time but a forced ad completely interrupts the flow of the game. So for now I gotta decide between paying for no ads, or not playing at all because there is no middle ground :(

It's a neat concept but it isn't executed very well. Progress feels very slow at any stage in the game, there are tons of ads (as well as random popup ads) and the controls are inconsistent. For example, some buttons you can hold down to rapidly purchase over and over again, while others you have to press repeatedly. You also can't close a menu by tapping outside of it, you have to hit the close button. The graphics are nice, but everything else falls a bit short.

This game is INCREDIBLY disappointing. It runs extremely well. Very smooth with good graphics. The problem is the ADS. Everything you do in the game gets interrupted by ads nearly constantly. For instance, you have to press a certain button a lot to upgrade your houses. The problem is, after a few presses, THE BUTTON IS COMPLETELY REPLACED BY AN AD. You either have to watch the ad, or wait for the button to go away. It's not optional and it completely halts gameplay.

Music is fantastic, and graphics are cute and fit for the kind of game it is. However, I feel I'm watching ads more than playing the game. Wish they had a store option to purchase no ads. Update: I did find the option in store to pay for no ads, which I did, but I am still getting them. I emailed, and got a message back saying they stop "surprise ads," but not the ads for rewards... I play a lot of idle games, and not once have I hear of that. When I paid on other games, no ads at all. 1 star.

Played for 10 min, now ads are blocking so much of the screen I cant even see how much $$ I have. Game also does not continue to collect when you leave and drains battery. It is super cute with great graphics and game play. I dont mind watching adds for items and and perks, but making it impossible to see or use the screen is rediculous. Please fix, and I would be happy to play.

New game name "Ad Simulator Light City". I understand it's optional, but the placement of the buttons and frequency of them is ridiculous. The most annoying of the about 7 ad buttons flys around the screen forcing you to click around it (don't even bother clicking it and declining to make it go away, it comes back in 15 seconds). I also love how the upgrade "double collection time for all block A" will double the collection time, while also cutting in half the actual money collected per.

Edit: removed one star TL;DR Slow-paced ad watching simulator +Pros: Really nice art style -Cons: 1) ad experience is terrible and uses dark patterns to trick you into watching them; 2) terrible scaling - progress is horrendously slow starting at Block C; 3) Prestige system doesn't impact gameplay beyond the Park; 4) leveling up after Prestige is slow because you can't purchase multiple levels at once (so that you have to click each one and potentially misclick to watch an ad) 👎👎👎

1st lvl is easy, you prestige and it seems cool. Then the prices of buildings & prestige upgrades skyrocket and it takes weeks, if EVER, to progress. If you rarely play games & can leave them alone, with only time every 2hrs to open & click a cpl times, PERFECT! If you want more than that, move along. BORING!!!!!

I just started playing & although it looks really cute the ads are gonna ruin it for me. There are so many things popping up on screen to try & coax you into watching an ad. Even upgrading your house gives you an ad option every few upgrades. Which if you're not careful you can accidentally click on. These are 30, 40 second ads too. I get y'all need money but chill. Y'all are showing your desperation by trying to shove them down our throats! For this I have to give 2 stars.

I just dont get it. It seems like a cute and fun game but with the prices of updating anything you're pretty much just watching lightbulbs go into buildings. The commercials are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I've never seen a game where the AD is almost ALWAYS over 45 seconds. The ads are so long the normal last stage of the ad you know how you can X out will wait an additional 10-15 seconds. Then its like what is the purpose of the game. I have 6 buildings now everything is in the BILLION dollar mark.

It's $27.99 to remove ads and also $37.99 for 3 "rare" ugly, pointless 2D skins. This is predatory monetization to the highest degree. I don't care what the developers say to justify this, it is completely unacceptable to charge that much for something that isn't nearly worth a fraction of that price. These developers are getting greedier and greedier each year. Plus it's a mediocre game to begin with filled to the brim with ads. Clearly it's just an ad farm, don't even bother downloading.

Seems like it would be cute but for a clicker game, there's way too many ads. When spam clicking to level up a house it automatically changes to an ad button when you don't have enough money so it basically tricks you into watching an ad. There's bubble ads, and ads in the top corner constantly. Way too many chances to watch an ad to make it worth playing. I understand developers need for funding but just charge a dollar or something don't trick your players into watching an ad.

Ads crash game constantly. I love the game, it is a great idle game. However, I have lost a ton of progress due to the "solitaire storm" and "bingo storm" ads crashing the app every time they come up. I even end up losing all my offline "revenue" if I try to double it and that ad comes up. Get rid of those two ads and the game would get 5 stars.

This is a fun game, very cute, and I don't mind watching some ads for boosts. What I don't like, however, is that by the time you reach block d, there's no more prestige purchases and since the bulbs don't add to the building when the game is closed, I have to sit with my game open for an hour just to build up the houses. I would also appreciate a button that lets me max out levels with one tap instead of having to hold the button to manually fill each bar. Takes me 20/30 minutes per prestige.

Love it so far. I also love the graphics. Very cute!!! I do think that there are way too many ads. I really wish the 2x would be for like 4 hours. You could look at 6 and and it would last 24 hrs. Having to continue for a long while defeats the purpose of being an idle game. Other than having to watch an ad to do everything, I do enjoy the game.

Its $27.99 to remove the ads, that’s how many there are. You don't have to watch them, but buttons for them will pop up on the side, overtake the light bulb guy you're already clicking, pop up over houses, and zig-zag slowly across the screen, all doing their best to grab an accidental click so you'll watch an ad. I find it distracting and since some of them block stuff you end up having to wait for them to dissappear (which it seems takes like 30 seconds) or click on them and manually dismiss.

The game is fun and pretty. But needs a few things. 1- maybe more of a tutorial to explain what things do. I was confused when trying to upgrade things. And 2- 27$ for an ad free game but not unlimited idle time is ridiculous. I work 8 hours a day and can't always check every 2 hours. That amount should give you unlimited idle time. I would love to get a refund from that cause that's the main reason I paid for the game.

Pretty fun, but they actually managed to make optional ads almost as intrusive as required ads. The HUD of the game is very busy, lots of buttons trying to get you to watch ads for various boosts, and there's an extremely irritating bubble that floats across the screen every 30 seconds or so with another ad option. The most irritating thing though, is the ad to level up your buildings that makes it so you can't see the cost of the next upgrade until you have enough.
