More About Idle Civilization: World Story

This is a simple strategy where we play on behalf of the ruling class of an anonymous society, develop its productive forces, and switch socio-economic formations.
In the game you will go through the whole history of mankind from primitive communities to a classless society of the future with technologies for interstellar flights and time travel. The story depends on the choice.

The improvement of productive forces will take place within the framework of real historical events: the Marathon battle, the Punic wars, the fall of Rome, the Crusades, industrial or socialist revolutions.

Nothing is predetermined in advance: one wrong step in the economy of the young Soviet republic, and it will end. You did not show sufficient rigidity as an imperialist predator, and the one who is larger ate you. Less reformism and reaction from the Soviet government and the result of the Cold War are not a foregone conclusion.

All this is seasoned with craft watercolor graphic;)

-------------
Now the game is in the late early stage of development - the basic mechanics are ready, but the amount of content and balance have yet to be filled: events, improvements, pictures, texts, time travel, and later other planets.

Now the most valuable thing for the game is your feedback, suggestions, comments, ideas.

I quite like this game, aside from the ads (I'm fine with them this is an indie game) I enjoyed playing this. The only problem is not going communist pretty much is an automatic game over, not sure if it's propaganda I just really like the idea of the game anyway. I recently reinstalled this but it keeps crashing me out of it every 5 seconds, not sure if this is because of some *possibly political ongoing situations* right now

The game itself seems very interesting, but its literally unplayable for me. After installing it and opening the app, it only runs for a few seconds before suddenly crashing on me. I can't even get through the introduction/tutorial! I've tried to fix it a handful of times by opening and closing the app and reinstalling it a couple of times, but after a certain point I just gave up :| maybe I'll try this game again in the future if I stumble upon it after an update or something, but it's unlikely

This game is AMAZING! Unlike most idle games, this game has absolutly ZERO forced ads. Everysingle ad in this game is optional, and you are awarded with hearts that can be used to buy UI upgrades, like a compact interface. The graphics are smooth and the artwork is fantastic. Also, unlike most idle games, you can spend ZERO dollars on this game and still be able to play like everyone else. AMAZING GAME, DOWNLOAD NOW IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY

Ads done right! Donate a cup of coffee. Developer has unobtrusive ads and are also short/skippable, doesn't lock functions behind a paywall, and specifically does so to keep the game fun and engaging. It's great to see developers who are more interested in providing the best experience over profits. The water color art is quite beautiful. Highly recommend donating a $1.

An important part of a game is the message it tries to say. In a game with human history as its setting, the message will without a doubt effect the game itself. This game was made by a person with a very particular view of the way the world works, and the game is organized around that. I should note as well that the game grows very obvious near the end (the 'noncommercial research' tech should tip you off). The game itself is decently designed, however. A fine experience, but know its message

I love it. The only ads you watch are not forced onto you. I love the vibe of it and it tells a story as you go on. You use little heart things to buy extra stuff. You get the heart things from watching short ads and doing certain things in the game. You can also get 100 of them by buying a $1 mug. That's amazing. I love it. I rated 4 stars because the interface is a bit iffy. It could use a bit of a rework. I don't really like the bland white background but other than all that it's great. Good

While perhaps not the most polished idle game around, it oozes with personality and depth. The beautiful water color art is just the tip of the iceberg. This is less your traditional incremental clicker and more of an abstract strategy game unlike any other that I've come across. The inclusion of multiple scenarios really proves to me that this is a strategy game through the lens of an incremental game rather than the other way around. Devs, you are appreciated, The best, T

It's a really great game, I enjoy it a lot, but when I get to war, I can't read the options yet (I understand more translations are coming) and keep getting set back a few hundred years. I'd love to see it develop, and will definitely adjust my opinion and review as new updates are released. Great job, to the developers, keep up the solid work!

I enjoy the music, the music is the main thing but still. It is also to my knowledge (though limited) pretty historically accurate. Gameplay is,like many like it, somewhat basic. Coding is a pain and considering I came expecting a clicker game I'm happily surprised. The game warns that it was originally in Russian but that doesn't really effect the grammar or spelling much if at all. The game will get dull after awhile but considering it's an idle game you can just use it as background music.

Completed the standard scenario and moved on to Kindur. I was presented with a "choice" that wasn't really a choice at all, as after making it, I was told I could either respawn (presumably to select the other option) or restart Kindur entirely. Will check back later to see what's changed as development continues.

I really liked this game and it has a lot of potential, hopefully we can work out the translations and smooth out the game and it's perfect. (1st update) Let me just say this game is definently worth a look, it has its flaws, yes, all games do, but I promise the developer looks at each of these reviews and is working around the clock to fix the bugs and translation errors. As well as additional extensions to the main game and side scenarios. There is so much planned and Coming soon.(2nd update)

I enjoyed this game greatly, and I even donated. However, I find some things incredibly frustrating: the illusion of choice near the end of the game. I tried advancing past WW1 with the counter-revolution, and no matter what I try or change, I instantly lose and am railroaded into socialism. The game is clearly biased, and sees fit to railroad the player to socialism as the easiest option unless one does everything exactly right. The Warfare mode is also impossible beyond small state difficulty.

It's a pretty good game. Also, I found a bug. I've completed the game and get 8.19G per sec. I own 520% of the land because of a bug. If you go to the main menu and then go go right back into the main game mode, the price to claim more land resets back to 21.9Q in my case, and because of that I can endlessly buy it. It'd be nice to fix it because it could definitely be abused.

This game is far too railroad-y. It has some choices but ultimately if you try to stray off the set path, the game just ends with no warning. It gives choices just to immediately take them away and force you a certain direction regardless. Not to mention how upgrades are not retroactively applied so building too much of a thing before buying an upgrade can make it harder on yourself. The constant pop-ups every, literally, 5 seconds are also pretty annoying. It's a neat concept but needs work.

Overall fun experience. However, i felt like many of the random events and path diversion points were largely out of a player's choice as to their consequence upon gameplay and their impact. The combat system was similar to the tech progression, but a fun diversion. Would love to see the "war" aspect of this game fleshed out through all eras of play, not just the world wars.

Still a work in progress but is a very useful tool to visualize how material circumstance leads to historical decisions and how real life played out systemically. Some areas of it are more bare bones but it recognizes that and improves with every update. A very humbling experience and I learn something new every time I play. Definitely recommend this game.

It's fun and educational in a way for history. There aren't too many forced ads, and you get a heart for watching ads, which can be used for cosmetic bonuses. There are multiple paths, so you can replay like 3 to 4 times if you are a completionist. The only reason this game is not a 5 star for me is that you are forced to go communist nomatter what you do in the modern era.

Really enjoyed the game. But got a a little confused as I progressed and Russian started to pop up in certain spots. Didn't understand certain aspects, such as the new planet starting again - a lot of Russian! Very excited about the prospect of an expanded time machine, possibility of being able to introduce advanced tech to the past etc. But it's a great start with amazing potential!

Seems like there's a lot of work left to do, but the game is functional from start to finish, and it's pretty fun! Problems I've seen: Some choices are interesting branch points that lead to a different path for your civilization. Other choices seem to have only one correct answer. Upgrades don't seem to be retroactive. This means buying too much of an industry early will result in lost productivity later. Kind of a bummer.

This is a challenging idle management game. There is a noticable lack of help to the player, but if you push past the beginning the game gets easier, and you start to see a pattern. Id like to see more variety and options for the upgrade tree, as it can be confusing. I'd also like to see a bit more towards the management side of things, likes supply vs demand, etc. I've done a full playthrough and thoroughly enjoyed the game, but I did play rather weird, I still won though. Tip: go Nuclear.
