Still buggy (images in list are sometimes mismatched when scrolling) and there is no white/blacklist functionality for shops. I want to exclude e.g. ebay and metro but just can't, which also screws up the prices shown. But the comparison functionality is really good as well as the filter when searching for products.

Only just loaded this app but so far the first 2 products I searched on came up a lot more expensive on here than I've seen in the shops. The 2 items were Tower 4 tray buffet server which is £29.99 in a large chain store but starting at £50 on here and Axis caviar premium aftershave which is exclusive to the perfume shop and sells at around £10 but only showing available in this app from places like ebay for £53, £45 and £18. Seems to defeat the object of using the app.

Maybe I don't want to get notifications about every Product I pressed on... Even if I disable push notifications I still get them in the app. I can't even delete the notifications I got. Just disabled the newsletter I never agreed to and got the notification that *maybe* all my pricealterts will be deleted as a consequence. If I want to be threatened and guilt tripped at the same time, I'll call my mum, thank you very much!

Not always correct, sometimes when the wish prise is reached its youst a trick... When you go to Webpage of the seller, there is nowhere the price shown on Idealo.... Several times I got cancelation of my order becouse the item is not available, and that happend several times in a raw on the same item. It was removed and placed again, even if they didnt have the item. Just to get the bought stats up.

Devs have my full respect. Great app, great service! Service: Nicely structured list of available prices for all kinds of products. It always baffles me how many products are listed in this app, from food to books, its all there. Being able to set price alarms, see price trends and to buy directly from idealo without having to create accounts and input data into other websites are things which I enjoy every time I use the app. App: clean, modern, no ads, quick and easy. Nothing to complain.

The app in principle is a good idea. However, the fact you can't choose to ignore certain companies such as eBay means it doesn't work well in practice. There is always someone selling items cheap on eBay but if I'm looking for brand new I want to buy from elsewhere. There is no way to remove eBay from the search so giving the app 2 stars until that improves.

Bug free app. Clean and intuitive ui. Absolutely helpful when it comes to check price-trends or set a reminder when the price goes down.

Does the job. Sends useful deals, but in many cases the deals are already gone by the time the notification arrives... Also, you can't exclude certain sellers from the notifications (like I don't care a 15% cheaper deal from ebay China, since the import will make it 20% more pricey, but this prevents me from setting meaningful alerts).

Only bad deals and scams. It depends i guess on what u are looking for and u CAN get a better price. Im looking at a product that costs 99.99 (and i know thats a very good price) and the best deals it shows on this app are ~140. The truth is that u get the best deals through ur own research. Ah and if u sort by the lowest price on this app, 100s of other deals that have nothing to do with my search show up, which is just typical. Deleted!

I can't (S24+) can't turn off individual notification types (promotions etc.). So I had to turn them off entirely. -> makes the app less useful

It's simply great. Of course, you cannot expect to find a great deal for everything you search but thats not their fault. The first item I purchased with the help of this app was a pen display for digital art. The original price point was 350-400 but I got it for an incredible 200-250! Whenever I need something a little more expensive, I always make sure to check here first. There are reasonable options to filter your search by like shipping included, excluded, shipping time, price range etc.

I love this app and it's one of my staple apps that I use almost daily. To check prices online. For sure thy make money from the companies that list their items, and only those listed can be compared... well, so one can find even cheaper offers, but one must have lots and lots of time on hand. And since I'm rarely willing to waste for hours to save just a few bucks, if at all, I'm more than happy with what Idealo offers.

The major flaw of this app is that when selecting the target country's market, the app's language automatically switches to that country's language, which is very frustrating. I live in Austria, but I don't know German and can't change the app's language to English.

i use the app a lot. there is one feature missing for me: i'd like to be able to exclude articles offered by specific shops /platforms. hope that feature will be available soon.

It is a great app, but as with a lot of these apps, they ask the country you are in and presume you speak that language. It would be nice to have the option of choosing the language as well.

uninstalled I was looking for a particular model of dishwasher. Pricerunner has shown its price has fluctuated over the past 18 months so I thought this app would be ideal to advise me when the product has lowered to a desirable level... when I added the product the app stated that alerts weren't an option as this model isn't always available. Disappointing as clearly the model has been readily available for some time. Therefore uninstalled the app

It doesn't even allow you to sort your wishlists by price. Ironically the website does - so the app is literally worse. It also doesn't present you with a nice dashboard overview of all wishlist items close to a deal (e.g. lower than the price you added it at) or being a deal. That is limited to 4 items and if you click "more" it just goes to your wishlist section. Just avoid the app and use the website and price alerts
