Old fashioned but a real ice hockey experience with all those first time ever earlier 80s Christmas fun I'm talking Blade's of Steel checking one timer off the pass from behind the net when Kelly Herudy had Rob Stauber for his backup goal tender nice job to the designers of this masterpiece of modern technologies thank all of you 🙏 much appreciated

Great game, but in career mode the levelling system is atrocious. You can score 70 goals in a season but because you're only 1 1/2 stars you're a third liner and barely get any playing time.

To the devs, Remove microtransactions in game modes in my career. Now on to the review. I'll love to say this game is a 3/5🌟. It has innovative features. Would love a baseball, lacrosse and soccer rendition but this game got excessive microtransactions. I'd love the game to adopt the style of hoop league because fast tracking player progression by making players fork over money is annoying. It creates an unfair advantage for players who pays v. Players who wants to earn their way up.

Ok so the behind the scenes is amazing, for the price of a cup of coffee you can do everything NHL 25 does and more, but the gameplay needs some serious work. It is near impossible to tackle, very difficult to win a game, and the controls are a bit confusing. If you wanna play hockey its not great, but if you wanna simulate a season it's exceptional

Great game besides the fact that the AI is very lacking. On defense opposing AI will stand in the same formation every time, and its easy to score when figuring out how to exploit it. And human AI doesn't move around either. And human Defenseman seemingly play way too deep in the zone, being basically with the goalposts.

Gameplay is good. There is a premium which unlocks more save slots and create, edit, export leagues; as well as options to purchase in-game currency to make your team better. You earn the currency naturally also though so it isn't too bad. Already finished a season and went through another draft. Multiplayer would be a great addition and so would being able to create a player for the draft.

Lots of fun, some obvious issues. Fast break targeting is abysmal, whether it's passing behind you on offense or refusing to switch to the correct defenseman / switch at all. All too often you're forced to watch both Defensemen stand still while the opposing Center skates down the middle for a 1v1 shot on goal instead of a 2/3v1. I still bought premium despite the gripes.

Good sim marred by bad game play. The actual game is either too easy at rookie or pro level or impossible at all start and above. High level play consists of CPU players unavoidably knocking you down every time. There also tends to be goals only from straight on and 45 degrees. If you play in career mode and make your own player you will play on the third line and only play about 1/6 the time on a bad team. Since experience is based mainly on whether your team wins, you will not get better.

Man, all-star mode is so realistically hard. My favorite part of hockey is when a good team goes up against a bad team and the bad team starts landing all these body checks the millisecond they turn the puck over and get 50 breakaways per game, with they goalie transforming into a wall. Meanwhile, the good team breathes on the other team for all their checks and the defense literally moves out of their way to let them score or switches lineups while they're driving! I'd hate to see legend mode!

I love this game so much. I really enjoy the season mode where you build up your team to success. I wish there was an easy way to access the stats, for example, being able to click on a player in the lineup and seeing how many points they have. It's annoying having to click on the points sheet and seeing who the player is. Do it like NHL 24 has it

Would rate higher but there are glaring problems. Passing picks the receiver as the guy closest to you who can be behind your net resulting in a pass into your own net. Multiple times my team is skating away and right as I pass it switches to the guy behind the net. Also, your players change lines when you enter the opp zone with the puck. If the comp steals the puck it's a breakaway and they score frequently. Finally, when switching players on defense it doesn't switch to the closest player.

I really don't understand how this has such glowing reviews. As others have mentioned, having one "button" for all controls means you'll pass into opponents when trying to shoot and committing penalties when trying to change players. The rubberbanding is insane as well, so games are artificially close no matter how you play. I can't give it a 1/5 since the customization is nice and there's always a chance I'm just bad at the game, but it is just not fun whatsoever.

I love this game and immediately bought the premium. It's such a small amount for the amount of game play you can do. I love creating my own league and setting up the awards and stuff. However, I really wish if you edit the league you make it doesn't affect the next season of that league. You have to completely make a new character for it.

Great game, fun time killer. I enjoy playing the GM mode and it is pretty fun. Only complaint would be the AI intelligence, teammates randomly pass at the oddest times and the thing I dislike the most would be that when defending the CPU team will just encircle you every once in awhile making it impossible just to move. Ultimately though I really enjoy the game and definitely recommend it. It'd be cool if they made a MLB version. I'd definitely buy that one

This pixel hockey game is beautiful and outstanding in nearly every way. It feels like a legitimate hockey game that you would expect to play with quick matches, seasons, match times, and a great slew of various other settings. I just pray and hope that the developer will continue to keep it up-to-date and playable because I dont ever want to stop playing it!

A great combination of straightforward gameplay and intuitive controls/mechanics. Season mode can get very addicting once you start with a scrap team and slowly build them up to all stars. I'm playing this game with a razer kishi and that adds so much to the gameplay experience. Their are so many little details that add to the authenticity of a hockey game while still remaining arcadey in it's gameplay. Matches are quick, so you get that "just one more" feeling, especially when on a win streak.

The premium version of this game was the exact kind of hockey management sim I was looking for. You can draft, trade players (and draft picks), scout, and a whole lot more that isn't needlessly complex but is just enough so that you get involved. The depth of the team and league customization is also awesome, including uniform colors, team logos, and the team's ice rink design. Great game if you don't mind a really simplified but still in-depth hockey management sim!

Absolutely love this game, I've been playing it on and off since it was released. Minimal glitches, simple gameplay, and NO ADS! Although I've never bought it, the premium is only $2, but the game is still very enjoyable with the normal version. It's very easy to get lost in your own world while playing this, especially if you play with a gamepad/controller. However, the game desperately needs an update. Something new and some control mechanics worked out (mainly with the passing selection).

This game is not officially licensed, but it's surprisingly deep anyways. The teams are analogs for real NHL teams and they even have goal horns. It's easy to play with touch screen controls, but an external controller makes it much better. It's the best hockey game I found on the Play Store.

Good game, but you need a practice mode. I breezed through the tutorial, but when it came time to play a season, I felt lost like I wasn't shooting right and couldn't remember all the tap combos. Also need a way to adjust settings before a season year starts. Whatever line change settings I had, my player is only getting less than a minute of ice time in a 6 minute game. Not a lot of fun.
