It used to be good but now it's annoying. It takes forever to pick the items I want to buy cause every few items it says there was a problem and to wait a little bit before adding more items. Sometimes it takes me days cause all of the waiting . I eventually get burned out and forget cause it takes so long. I wished there was a button to just check all the items so I didn't have to go through this every single time I want to shop for groceries

It used to be great and was really easy to use. Now with the age of buy online and pick up in store you don't get a receipt so then you can't collect and Walmart which used to allow this and be linked is no longer that way. On top of that most of the deals are for brands that have doubled and tripled the price on their products, better off buying generic. Using it less and less and close to just closing my account completely.

I use this app kind of sparingly - I tend to only go for brands I already buy, or brands I don't mind switching, and I will always pick the better deal at my local store over a couple cents back. HOWEVER, I love this app for what it is. It's one of the only apps that doesn't give me constant ads, and while the buildup of money might be slow, the dollars add up over time. It's been super handy when I'm in a financial struggle and just need that extra $20 to slide by until pay day

11/18: looks like your latest update has bugs on the login page! Login using google no longer works. And WHY would you have 2 clicks to log in now? When you launch an app, either you are logged in already or direct the user to log in. There is no backward compatibility! Every time an update has been released you HAVE to immediately update or it will not work... The latest version is extremely slow and keeps crashing on one plus one...

Downgrading to 1 star until this issue is fixed, corrected, changed, whatever needs to be done to change it. STOP making us wait 1-3 minutes after selecting only 10 offers at a time. We've been pleading with you for years to fix this. But Nothing. I Love using Ibotta, but this is not a little bug fix, it's a HUGE app issue that needs to be changed IMMEDIATELY! AND for the LOVE of GOD, give us a select all button when it comes to adding offers instead of making us select 1,200+ offers ONE by ONE!

This was a good app for me until recently. I usually use it to get cash back on Instacart orders. I noticed some of my orders would never get credited. At first I though it was my mistake somehow, but after screenshotting all of my order confirmations, and STILL not getting cashback I realize it's a problem on their end. Very disappointing and annoying to have to contact support to fix it.

I've had this app for a while now, and honestly, none of the products I buy are ever in this app. I have bought some products showing in the app, but then it says not eligibility, so I don't know whats the whole poing in go thru the whole list of products, and in the end, one of my purchases in the app. It would be nice not to go thru the whole list of every each category to select the products. Just scanning the receipt and getting points would be better.

UPDATING TO 2 STARS!! This app is soooo frustrating! There clearly was an update, but still no bug fix for "something went wrong, wait a minute before clicking" note! It is still happening every 10-20 clicks and there are hundreds of items to go through! Payouts are decent, but the constant crashing is beyond annoying and super time consuming! It shouldn't take 30-60mins to click some digital coupons, and there should be a customer support link in the app! PLEASE FIX THE "WAIT A MINUTE" BUG!!

I have used this app for years and always loved it. I've spread the word and told all my friends about the great benefits. The app has been very glitchy over the past few months and recently my account was deactivated without my knowledge. As a mom of 6 and avid user of coupons this was very disheartening. I am not sure what is going on but BEWARE of an app that has all your info and suddenly just stops working..

Ibotta is great. You have to coordinate your trips with offers to get the most out of it. And if an item is on clearance it doesn't always come up in the recept and you have to scan the barcode but it hasn't proven to be an issue. I mainly use it with persona hygiene items and laundry stuff but a few. grocery items have popped up. Every little bit helps. The payout is quick and easy.

Edit after a brand new phone and update. Annoying it only lets me add a few at a time then errors saying can't add more. Then multiple receipts do not work and don't accept bar codes and don't scan when I scan item . Why I don't use this as much ..still doesn't work. app keeps erroring, wont let me see my earnings uninstalling doesnt work. frequently loggs me out

App is time-consuming & has been malfunctioning for awhile now, often failing to load offers for viewing, receipts for upload, & subsequent rebates regardles of mobile device or internet connection. On multiple occasions, I've waited in an endless buffering loop only to never receive credit for legitimate rebates. I would contact customer service, but in our last interaction, I felt they took no ownership for their part of a miscommunication. I've tried, but this app keeps failing.

Been using Ibotta for almost 10 years and never had an issue until this year. Ibotta has been reversing cash back from my account for the past 3 months excessively. Probably almost $30-$40 at this point. They obviously need a better system in play. It's beginning to piss me off. Literally just got my account out of the negative and now its negative again. If the purpose is to save money then what is the problem? If the purchase isn't credible then the money should never be added to my account.

I am changing my star rating. For the past couple months, the app has been glitching terribly. I will not automatically be awarded the rebates, and have to write in long descriptions of every missing one. It is annoying, and now has become difficult to resolve it. I did not receive rewards because by the time I got help, the rebate had left the app. The app is now terrible. There is no way it's a technical issue when it is constantly happening. Will be deleting app. From 5 stars to 1.

I'm updating my review because the app is constantly glitching. I love it when it's working properly. Everytime I go to clip the products, the app will only allow me to clip a few before it starts to saying, "something went wrong". Then I'm unable to clip anymore deals. If I can't clip the deals, then I can't take advantage of them. So, until this glitch is fixed, the app is pretty much trash to me. I hope this problem is fixed soon because I really enjoyed the app when it was working properly.

Clicking on each item can get tedious. Dev's, can you please fix the issue with having to do this? Your app stops me from claiming more than 10 offers at a time, and it takes days to get them all loaded. My suggestion is to not have to claim any offers, all would be already claimed. EDIT: I now use Giant Direct. It's a pick-up service through the Giant store. There is no way to snap a picture of the receipt given by them as it's on a regular size printer paper. But they do email a copy. HELP

Not cash back on everything as the ads state. I have been using this app for a few years. Initially, it was pretty good. It used to offer, say, $1 back with a limit of 5 items. Now, that same item is $.50 back on 2 with a limit of 2. They have also cut back on items allowed. (You can only purchase certain flavors.) An odd example of problems is offering cash back on a family size 13 oz. when then family size is actually 12.5 oz. Impossible to get cash back on that. Vegan & keto are big on app.

The offers that are over .50 always have a problem getting added to your account. If you're not careful you will miss out on money. I am still waiting to find out about this issue from 2 days ago. I have verified everything on my end was done correctly. *Edit*I stopped using the app for almost a year because of issues above. Used it for about a week now it seems even worse. I had a shopping trip that is supposed to give me $11.50 in cash back. 3rd time uploading. Error 3x's 🤔

After the latest app update around May 14th it has left me unable to submit Walmart receipts. I can scan my Walmart receipt but it won't pick up any off the rebate offers and it won't let me add them. I have had to open a help ticket each time. The customer service is off shore I think and the reps don't read any of the tickets. It's an absolute struggle to get credited for my offers. I have used this app for 11 years and I have never had so many problems! I don't know why they had to break it.

I like this because it is convenient and cash back builds faster than with other sites. I do not like that I have to buy bigger packages, or 2 packages to get any cash back. plus items listed are rarely available in my local store and every day items need to be the norm, not the exception. We are seniors struggling each month, could really use more "normal" options.
