New update is terrible. The search function never loads, so can't find anything or add anything to my cart, so ordering pick up is not available to me right now. The new requirement to activate perks was a solution in search of a problem. And it used to be that you could click on a specific perk and it would allow you to add it to your cart right from the perks page, but now you have to activate it, then search for it (in the non-functional search bar) and then add to cart. Too complicated.

When the app works its great. Unfortunately the shopping function doesn't work the majority of the time since the last update. What's the point of the app if i can't order my pickup groceries on it? And why do I have to select my store every time I open the app? I'm not changing stores. I haven't moved. I'm gonna continue to use the one right by my house

App is slow and buggy. Consistently receives updates that inevitably seem to make it worse. Currently I can't get it to open at all. The same awful performance of the Hyvee website, with the portability of being on your phone! For when you want to carry poorly executed tech on the go.

I tried using this app to order Aisles Online or whatever their delivery service is called. Was a frustrating experience to say the least. Kept getting errors, said my home address was invalid. Kept making me choose a new delivery time, then charge me double delivery fee...had to enter credit card info four times before I gave up. I NEEDED my groceries so I ended up ordering from a competitor store whose app worked great.

App is so slow and lags constantly, making it nearly impossible to use. For example, you can't just tap into the search bar to type in a search term - a tap on the search bar causes the page to load endlessly until you're frustrated enough to close out the app and go to the web

Fresh update 8.14.2024. Phone says the new update is bugged and will not open on my phone. App is broken. Tried to use it last week, I can no longer login. It force quits out of the app as soon as I try to login. Deleted the app and re-installed, same result. I used this app almost exclusively for ordering groceries. Looks like I'll have to go to Bakers for most of my groceries. Unless this issue is resolved quickly.

This app is slower than milasis on on uranus and it gets to be -374F on there "-224C for the non freedom fellers and fellettes". It takes over a minute to launch with 49 seconds on average in just the "loading perks signup" which says it can take up to 10 second. This is on Gigabyte WiFi btw so not an internet issue, it's a "the developer needs to fix the app and stop being lazy issue". Garbage app.

The entire app is so laggy, glitchy, and sometimes just doesnt work, and as an employee when Im trying to help someone find something and it either takes a minute to open or just doesnt open it could upset them or leave the customer with a bad impression. A lot of the way this app is designed is just bad, like trying to navigate to find something specific is sometimes impossible, and some features dont even work, like when I scan a barcode to find where something goes 30% of the time not found

Unusable since update, I've used the HyVee app several times per week for years. Since they updated, it rarely loads, and on the few times it has, it lags so badly that it's still unusable. I've tried deleting data, deleting the app, and reinstalling it. Nothing helps. Sorry HyVee, you're about to lose my business, it's been an issue for several weeks now and the app is a necessity for me. 07.01.24 Still unusuable. Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Checked settings. Just won't load .

So, brand new issue on Pixel 8 Pro. every time I try to change the pickup date for a refill, when I click save, the app ignores it, half the time it pulls down the phone menu from the top, because the save link is right where the phone clock normally is. at no point did it save the change. Do meet me know if you need more info, I'll be happy to post a public YouTube video where I try it again, for all to see it fall.

This app has always had at least one feature in an unusable state. First it was ads that wouldn't load reliably, then lists were painfully slow and glitchy (though they seem to be better now with the latest update), and now the barcode scanner stopped finding any products. Today was the second time a coupon I clipped didn't apply at checkout even though I bought enough eligible products, and the app won't consistently show if it's actually clipped to my card or not.

Needs an email verification but it reloads the page when you check the email. Half the buttons don't work. This app has literally crashed my whole phone multiple times and it constantly logs you out. I wish I could give zero stars it's beyond annoying for them to gatekeep lower pricing behind the worst app imaginable

I will continue to use the app because I have already paid for a years subscription service but the app has now lost notification privileges and rating because it spams advertising push notifications to my phone, sometimes multiple times a day, despite the in app settings being turned off. I grocery shop 1-2 per month, daily notifications is TOO MUCH.

The app works, but it is annoying to use. On startup you have to wait while it loads the rewards card. That alone is super annoying when you just want to quickly add an item to your cart. After ordering if you remember something and want to add it you must use the email link and open the web site in a browser to add your item. Also if you accidently buy something it is placed in your but again list. There is no way to remove it so now you have an even easier way to accidently buy it again.

Some buttons are inaccessible (at least on my phone screen). Tried to change the time and date of a prescription pickup, and the buttons to save or go back are so high up that they are off the edge of the screen. Tapping the half that is showing results in my phone's task bar pulling down. I tried rotating the screen as well but it doesn't change anything. Edited to add: looks like I'm not the only one having this issue!

It's just really slow. It's glitchy and you are forced to close and reopen it. When you open it the perks pops up and I'm already signed up and add signed in. It's annoying and I have to click out of it every time. There's no reason for it to pop up. I'd understand if I wasn't signed in but I'm always signed in. There's a pull down tab that gets in the way at the top too. Just needs a lot of improvement. Not very user friendly in some ways. Item availability sucks from ads too.

I used to place aisles online orders all the time with no issues. Now every time it seems I get all the way through the process but can't check out (big waste of my time) or the app won't open at all for me. Searching for sales and deals is also difficult having to scroll through everything and then when adding something to my cart it starts all over at the top. I do like the flip feature with the ads where you flip through a digital ad and then only the items in that page are shown.

Very frequently crashes on startup despite a force stop and clearing the cache. Scanning barcodes almost never works. Takes FOREVER to start the app even when it doesn't crash. Does not auto-detect which store you're in, and switching stores in the app is needlessly complicated and unintuitive. No information about current stock and availability. Regularly shows items as available at a store that doesn't even carry that item.

One year later, the app is STILL amateur hour. Every good part is balanced out by a bad part. There are major bugs, like if you substitute an item that doesn't have one, it closes out your cart entirely. Scheduling prescriptions literally soft-locks the whole app. There's no dark mode! It just feels like nobody who makes the app USES the app or these rough edges would be fixed. I love shopping at Hy-Vee and I use this app nearly every day.

My grandma moves faster than this app... I've been using this app for years. There is always something not working properly. The page load times are ridiculously slow.(Pixel 8 Pro with full 5G UW signal) There have been situations where I lose my reservation due the time it takes to select substitutions. The app has massive potential, if they could ever get it to perform properly.
