The obscene amounts of advertisements thrown into your face while using is app is becoming plain disrespectful at this point. Full screen ads that pop up out of nowhere and forcing you to stop everything you were just doing. Also, why is the notification sound tied to my phone's ALARM volume setting and not the notification volume setting like other apps??????

Far too glitchy. You can't search for groups, the screen just turns white. Ads are insane and every time you get one there three layers to it with separate arrows and x's to click. Most of the people on there are for NSFW content and you're probably going to get messages from the same about 20 people in response to anything you post. makes me wonder how many people are actually on the app. Gets pretty boring after awhile, especially since you can't search for a group without a glitch.

Buggy I haven't had the app on my phone for more than 4 hours and it has crashed 3 times, takes 5 minutes to load groups/searched items, and the ads are excessive and way too long. Was looking for a whisper alternative but this just seems like a poorly maintained app. I'm really hoping they get this fixed so I can continue to use the app without get irritated.

Decent app. Fun premise, but full of scams, bots, and the like. There is a small banner ad at the bottom and every long while a 5-15 second ad will play. This isn't too bad, as they are infrequent and only a few seconds. I understand the devs have bills to pay. The block feature is nonfunctioning. If you are lucky, patient, and have a lot of time, you might find something interesting.

Was okay until you couldn't use the app for more than 2 seconds without getting long video ads. There's not even a paid version, if you don't want to get ads all the time you can choose to watch a grand total of 2.2 hours (real calculation, not made up number) of ads one at a time for ONE MONTH of ad free usage. The app has become basically unusable.

I just downloaded hush. I post and I start receiving dms. Which is good. But I only received them for a total of 10 minutes. I have unread messages and I can not open the message icon. When I try, it just reloads the page for more recent posts. It will NOT take me to my messages. I asked a friend who uses this app regularly. She complains there's always something wrong with the app. I believe her. If I could give half a star I would.

This app is hilariously bad. The UI is incredibly unresponsive. Tap and you'll wait 4-5 seconds for something to happen. Same when going "back". It's been almost 2 years since this thing was released and I still can't see a list of groups I've subscribed to (kind of a basic feature). The notifications are annoying. "Someone posted near you", but it was 8 months ago. Do you really need to notify me? And then there's the annoying "PSA" notifications they send over and over.

Over all not a terrible app. The reason why I gave two stars is the sheer amount of ads. Can get to you inbox bam an ad, respond to message bam an ad. You can watch more ads to get rid of ads but from what I've experienced you have to watch 33 ads to get one weeks worth of ad free time. I get you have to make money but the ads almost make it not worth the effort.

This app has been online since I believe it was October 2023. Since this came online it had some minor fixes but in actuality it still has major glitches. Notifications haven't worked in over a year. When leaving personal notes in the DMs words get cut off instead of carrying the hole words in the next line. These are things that whisper array had figured out. The coding could be better. It would be very nice to have these things fixed. It would attract more users.

Their auto system for flagging NSFW content seems a bit extreme, I've had 3 completely clean posts so far get put under content review for seemingly no reason. I also wish that DMs with multiple lines wouldn't break up whole words if it carries on to the next line. Makes it hard to read. It's okay for a whisper substitute I guess, but could use a lot of improvement.

Unresponsive, you touch a part of the screen to go from one to another part and it takes tapping it multiple times and usually take 20 seconds to get there. New update draws pictures for your messenger only from the Cloud services. Originally it was from your phones gallery but they changed that, I guess. Frustrating cause you have to scroll thru a ton of pics instead of your carefully organized albums

Pretty nice, when it works. Nearby tab frequently times out with a placeholder telling you to turn on Location (it's on). Occasionally loads (again, Location is on), but is slow. Sometimes switching b/w Global and Nearby will get it to load immediately. Notif inbox is full of "Someone has posted near you!" alerts for months old posts (says they're new/recent). You cannot turn these off, so you have to scroll through all of them to see if you have a relevant notif (e.g., Someone has replied).

It's an ok (emphasis on ok) whisper substitute. The search function doesn't work very well, and when it does i always get some random ad audio with no ad, searching things take forever, when it comes to the "latest" it constantly updates even if you don't refresh so sometimes you see the same post about 30 times as your trying to scroll down. Lately the app has been crashing on me. Also since the latest update half my pics on my phone aren't able to be found in the app unless I favorite it

I like this app pretty well, but recently it's been extremely buggy and I haven't been able to use it well. When I tap on a post or DM, it takes forever to load, later telling me something went wrong and the only button I can press is the page to go back to the Hot page which is just a bunch of women asking for likes for pics. Not something I'm looking for.

My previous review was a two-star rating because of all the issues with the app. Over the last few weeks, the devs have been updating it like crazy. The app is improving and I hope it continues to do so. My current gripe is the number of unstoppable, full-screen ads. I understand the need to monetize, but these just make me close the app out of frustration half the time.

Left the app for a bit because it was buggy and broken. Came back to find it even worse. At the best times it freezes or crashes maybe every other time you open it. At its worst, there are times where the entire app locks up and nobody in the entire community can open posts or messages. Yet of course the ads run perfectly fine no matter what...

The only glaring issue for me and I am willing bet every other nuerodivergent user (which given the nature the app is probably your primary user base) are the pop up adds.i get that ad revenue is essential and I don't fault you for it. The problem is the pop up part. It is like nails on a chalk board for someone like me to be interrupted. It's the e-brake on my train of thought. When it pops up it auto opens chrome then my creditkarma. Have to close three apps to get back
