This game is HARD, even on normal difficulty. And that's a good thing, though my thirtieth attempt at the second boss means I doubt I'll ever actually finish the game. Also the fact that checkpoints don't save between sessions is annoying, so sometimes I can't be bothered starting a session. But the TLC in this game is so obvious I don't regret the purchase at all. This one will stay on my device for a long time.

I love this game, smooth retro graphics and enjoyable. But I found some bugs while playing Huntdown. This bug is about buttons that sometimes can't be touched, and the screen position doesn't fit causing some writing and parts to be cut off on my device, Realme C3. I already sent you email about this bugs and give you the video about it. Please fix it immediately. Keep up the good work, Thank You!

This game is awesome. The weapons are varied and fun to use, the characters and voice acting are very entertaining, the levels are well designed, the enemies and bosses are unique and challenging and the soundtrack is great to listen to. Overall its an amazing game ESPECIALLY for just 4 dollars. Edit: You can fix the screen size issue by going into the display settings than changing the app screen from 'Defualt' to 'Hide camera cutout'. Hope this helps 👍

Absolutely worth every penny. Brilliantly done, but please, can we have a sequel??!!! Or failing that, some DLC? I can't believe some of the critical reviews, moaning like little p***y b****** cos they can't get very far! NEWSFLASH: The era the style of this game replicates, had much harder games. Damn, the whole world is going down the drain...

Worth every penny. Old school platform/shooter, challenging levels, difficulty levels increased gradually, a lot of different weapons, enemies, bosses are difficult however there are patterns. Perfect mapping with Gamesir g4s. After a long time of hit and miss with mobile games this wins all the top ranks. And I am writing this at 50% of the game beaten. Buy it, play it.

Stunning game, in every way. The tactical feature of hiding in shadows or behind blocks adds so much and the boss battles are epic. Love all the knowing nods to the 80s/90s, this game is probably the best thing I've played on android. Only glitch for me is the way the screen moves when the character jumps up. It's too slow and this is a problem on later levels, especially the final battle with Shogun where he is off screen half the time which is a nightmare. Other than that, se-e-e-ensational!

I was thoroughly enjoying this and it's a good price as well; until I hit a bug at the end of chapter 3 (I think, the boss with the flamethrower anyway). After any failed attempt at the boss the level doesn't restart from the checkpoint properly, you just get a black screen. Your can't still pause the game and get the options and whatever but you need to restart the level entirely to get the game to play. And given how hard that boss is the frustration just isn't worth it for me.

Played the demo, then bought the game. I have had some trouble trying to get the full game on my new phone, but that's not the devs fault. If you love old megadrive side scrolling shooters - with some difficulty, then this is absolutely for you!!! Beautiful presentation too. Rammed full of countless neat little touches. Cannot recommended highly enough. Simply fantastic game. Just one thing - can we have a sequel or 2?!?!

Great pixel art and sound. Addictive gameplay and levels are fun to repeat. I have an issue when using my Xbox one controller and Samsung DeX. I cannot pause the game with the controller, I have to use the back button on my keyboard. It still makes the confirmation sound but never pauses.

How do I give more than 5 stars? This game is insanely good, and feels like the best of an old-school arcade game somehow maximized for today's powerful cell phones - especially the widescreen! Playing it with a controller mapped the way I want, it immediately feels like an old favorite. I bought the full version just minutes into playing. This is one I'll go back to over and over - great, simple, visceral action! Amazing 64bit-style graphics!

The game is amazing, let me say. It's incredibly fun hunting the bad guys. Game is a side scrolling shoot em up; you play through a level of peeons to emerge at the boss battle who is a thug that you're after. Very well done, crisp controls. I had to go with 4 stars because though the game works with my MOGA X5, the buttons are incorrect in the game with what I'm pressing on the controller and the button configuration menu doesn't really tell you much like how to use grenades and a shotgun.

This one is really good! Feels like a 90s genesis side scroller. Voice acting is excellent along with great ambience/sounds from the levels. The controls are great and very responsive to inputs. If you like shooters with great environments, cool characters, and lots of other details with that old school vibe, this is for you. Highly recommend.

Wow. I don't normally leave reviews but I played the demo and immediately bought the game lol. Awesome incredible fun. The art, the music, the gameplay. This is not just a random run and gun, you have to use some stealth and skill to beat the levels. The story and the voice acting is awesome. It is WELL worth the money I rated it 5 stars. Best 4 Bucks I ever spent. One thing I will say, I'm playing this game with a Bluetooth controller and couldn't imagine the game without it.

Great game so far as I've played, just some technical issues that need to be addressed. When I minimize the game or put my phone into sleep, when I come back to the game I have an issue where sometimes the audio for sounds is gone, or worse the screen is black while the audio plays. The only way to fix is a restart, which means starting the level I was in from the beginning. Not the greatest deal until I'm short on time in gaps and really want to beat a boss. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but are so responsive and clean that it's worth the learning curve. If you attached the game to a controller, you'd think it was a well made game from the time of snes or Sega Genesis. It's challenging too, keeps you thinking on your feet. A truly rare find, and well worth the 5 dollars for the full version. If you like Run and Gun gaming, pick up the full version for 5 dollars. You won't regret it.

Love it! Tried the demo and bought it. But Putting aside the fact that I am a sucker for retro looking games such as this. The art style, the sound, the music, the characters, the cyberpunk setting, it all just works and it's so full of personality, a work of art. The gameplay, it's a platformer, think of metal slug series and you got the right idea, but here enough has been tweaked to feel fresh and stand out on its own. Try the demo and give it a shot!

This game scratches an itch I didn't even know I had. The art is fantastic. It captures the futuristic dystopian theme perfectly. The gameplay is 2D side scrolling shooting and it is a lot of fun. Most of the time you are just shooting bad guys. But there is a little bit of strategy to each level and you get some fun weapon variety. The controls work as well as mobile controls can work. Keep making games like this and I will keep buying them.

Amazingly fun well-designed game. With built-in controller support right out of the box. Played it with my razer kishi and it worked extremely well right out of the box. The default mapping for the face buttons was a little weird. But they can be remapped in the settings so not a huge deal. I've also read that it supports Bluetooth controllers but I haven't personally tested it yet. Gameplay is extremely fun and very well designed.

This game is an absolute masterpiece. From the retro graphics to a killer score soundtrack, it has it all. I simply relish the boss mechanics, contemporary humor and movie references, voice-overs, the different eneny factions, plethora of weapons, the player choices and balance of difficulty. Major kudos to the development staff for an awesome job well done. And If you decide to make a series out of this, I'll definitely will be there to throwdown, I mean, Huntdown.

Awesome and creative game. I would recommend. 2 issues; first I had was when having to use another app or if I rotate my screen accidentally, when I start to play again, the frame rate looks as though it reduces by half. My second issue is that the game doesn't accurately detect the buttons on my gamesir pad. Example is X being A and Y being B, so mapping buttons took extra time but, it was figured out. Considering the amount of low quality apps on Google play however, this is minor.
