Humbug is a fun progressive logic game. It's a little hard at times but there are solutions and it feels good finding them, especially on the first try. It's making me try things, when trying things isn't how I usually initiate a plan. I suppose that could generalize to other kinds of planning. Presently, the ads are WAY too frequent, and TOO long which means I have to multitask. Frustrating, the ad time is greater than the app time. ~ K

Awesome. Initial games teach game mechanics. Once you get the mechanics, they start pounding with the puzzles. Puzzles are pretty straightforward. Some of them are more challenging than others. They periodically introduce new mechanics that keeps it interesting. Feel like I'm probably describing many puzzle games. I've played a very few, and this one is one of my favorites. Solutions aren't always obvious, mechanics are pretty immediately comprehensible, and they play with the whole. Thank you!

Incredible game! I love the concept and the bugs are adorable all the way. In fact, I wish I could see the bugs up close and play around with them more than the gameplay allows... Seriously fell in love with them. Gameplay is simple enough. The puzzles are relaxing and gets trickier as you go along, though never to a frustrating level. Highly recommended for those looking for quick, stress-free, beautiful games that don't consume much time to finish a level. Absolutely LOVING Humbug.

Clever and entertaining puzzle. Good range of difficulty, and although I never had to use a hint, some were real head-scratchers. Ads are much too frequent, the game is well worth the cost to buy the no-ads version. Beyond that, I never had to spend to advance. Currently there are only 3 levels; I'm hoping more are added soon. Maybe some new bugs 🐛 too?

Loved every fun and challenging minute of this game. It's a true puzzle, requiring smarts (not luck or random clicking) and learning as you go. The solutions are always there for you to find if work at it. It's beautiful, and the "music," sound effects, and animation reflect real talent and are so enjoyable. Never before have I loved bugs so much! I paid for no ads and it was worth every penny. I will wait impatiently for more levels. Thank you for a wonderful game.

This is an excellent game! Good art and fun sound effects support a challenging set of short logic puzzles. It is engaging and soothing, perfect for when I want a break to reset. I love that there are no power-ups to distort play (all you need is brain power!) and slot machine-esque rewards are limited to the end of levels. My only quibble is with the icy levels, the theme and color scheme are out of place with the rest of the game which is jarring and breaks me out of the game.

Too many ads that interrupt the flow of thought when trying to solve the puzzle. It's VERY disconcerting. I love the challenges, especially each bugs specialty moves. I've played many types of puzzles. This is unique and the first time I've ever done a review. If the pop up ads were cut in half, I'd be more apt to give this five stars. It's a great puzzle!

This game is very well done. The features to allow "undo" is great because the (fantastic) graphics can lead to making a mistake in direction. So it would be frustrating to have to start all over every time. The puzzles are hard enough to make me feel super smart when I solve them but easy enough to solve once once I figured out the movements of the different bugs. All the stars!!!

Fun little puzzle game. Neat bug designs. Hope to see more levels/bugs/other ideas in the future along these lines. Do kinda wish there was a glossary of each unlocked(at least) bug to see what they do/animations (just for fun, really). It's a solid game. Definitely worth your time if you like cute little puzzles (or just like watching bugs fall into the void)

Fun, beautiful and engaging. I've spent hours enjoying this simple but challenging game. Great job! Edit: The number of ads have increased from one per 5-7 attempts, to one every 2. Sorry to see that happening to such a good game. On the up side, they have added new content and it remains a very engaging and fun game.

More, more, more!!! I want more levels and more games like this. No time stress, just hard enough but not impossible, the biology geek and art enthusiastic in me love the bugs, simple but beautiful, just enough animation for fun without wasting battery power. Paying for ad-free definitely worth it! Please make more levels, more games, and groom the next generation of low stress puzzle makers!

A very challenging and stragetic games. It's all about the strategy. I usually do not like spiders, but the way these spiders move is c lever and fun. Wow, this is truelly a great game. Oh, and the ads are only 5 seconds long, unless you don't have enough points for a hint, then you can see a 30 second video for no used points. Unlimited number of tries to stratified your way to the correct bugs order of moves. Have fun and giggle a little .

This is definitely one of the best mobile games I've played. It's challenging and fun and though there are a lot of ads (expected if you're playing for free), they're not obnoxious. Unfortunately, not all games do ads right, but this one does. The game did seem a little short, but hopefully, they plan to add more levels.

12/20/20: A truly delightful series of creative and interesting challenges. Beautifully drawn sets, calming music, and fun insects with terrific sound effects. I can't remember a puzzle I've ever enjoyed more. To those of you who complain about too many ads, consider spending a few dollars to support this developer's work. It's worth it! 08/08/23: New phone, starting over and enjoying it as much as ever. What a great puzzler! Easy at first, but there's a real stumper once in a while! ❤️

Really, really great game. A lot of fun, very interesting, unique as far as I can tell. I used to play it a while back, downloaded it again to play it. And the change in ads from back then to now is horrible. I support ads, but these ads are WAY too long and WAY too frequent. I'm of the opinion the developers no longer care about the player base and are trying trying extract as much money as they can, at the expense of the users.

Fun game. Decently challenging through the first 100 levels. Sometimes the ads are rediculous, other times I could play on and on without any ads. The weird thing is it seems like there was a different developer for the second chapter and it isn't very challenging so much less fun.

Challenging, sometimes to the point of frustration, but with hints available to buy, I made it through the first 100 puzzles! The characters are fun, and the puzzle/game board concept is fresh. More characters are added in each level up, to increase the challenges of game play, so I don't have a chance to get bored. I have not noticed a single glitch. Cheers to the developers for creating this game, and keep up the good work!
