How is this even on the market? Installed some lights and should have checked to see if I could have connected them to Wi-Fi first. I followed the instructions and confirmed I have a 2.4 router and it finds zero Wi-Fi networks.. I live in a relatively dense neighborhood, so there should be multiple options. Can't figure out at all how to connect to Bluetooth. So annoying and Home Depot should not be advertising their hubspace devices as smart home compatible.

Absolutely a mus have app ! I love that you can control every aspect of the light feature thru your phone. From the time you tell it to go on/off on a preset schedule, to the color, hue or light speed and fade options .... you design it all. It is reliable and a real kick to play with also. I highly recommend Hubspace.

I have a motion light in the back and a plug in my daughter's room. I have hers on a schedule because she never turns her light off at night. Up until a couple of weeks ago I could go in on the app and change the times on the schedule but now the schedule won't pull up and the app tells me it's unable to. I've cleared the cache and everything I can think of but it still won't load the schedule. I need someone to tell me what's wrong with it besides it don't work

The ability to turn zones on and off individually was removed in the latest update. The app is pretty useless now and I have no other way to control my lights. Very disappointing. If this isn't fixed, I will need to go with a different timer. Update: A new version was applied today that restored this functionality. Now the app is back to its original state and working well.

After working great for over a year, this app suddenly stopped working. It's frozen on the opening screen. I tried updating, uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing works. This is on a Samsung device running Android with current software. Not sure what else to do, now my smart plugs are useless.

The app rarely connects to my device and most often shows as offline. occasionally, if I open the app and wait long enough, it will connect to Bluetooth to control the device. We have only gotten the WiFi to set up a handful of times, and then it disconnects within a few hours. I bought this fan because I am disabled and wanted to control my fan and light with my voice. As it doesn't stay connected to the WiFi, you can't use google to do so. I regret my purchase and have since we got it.

Hubspace app is not well thought out. Two hours to try to get the app to work properly. Never did work. Would not connect to the 2.4ghz network, did not connect to the device it was supposed to control. Unfortunately, the device does not have a manual override. Returned to Home Depot for refund. Went to Lowes and bought a "dumb" device what worked the moment I plugged it in.

The android version of this app has difficulty finding local wifi networks. I thought I was doing something wrong initially when setting up, but in a last ditch effort to get my devices to work I pulled out my old iphone to see if I could connect things that way. I was able to get things set up on the iPhone app fine, and then control things from my android phone once connected to the wifi. It's definitely just this app and not my phone because other apps find the wifi without issue.

This was fine for almost a year, then they ran an update that purged all devices from my account. I've only been able to reconnect one of them. Shame. Update: I did eventually get everything setup again. The downside is that the same issue happened again, another update and all setup data is gone. Everything needs to be setup again and synced, which means hours of work. Terrible app, terrible product. Never purchasing anything related to hubspace again

From the moment I installed the smart outlet it's been nothing but problems. The outlet keeps shutting off and losing connection to the WiFi. Spoke to tech support and they say they are aware of the issue and hope to push a fix to all units soon. 😭😭😱 We will see..... So here is an update. The new software was pushed out and the outlet actually stayed on for few days....that was a first. But today once again the unit is off and I had to turn it back on. Same as before. What's the point🤬😡🤬

Hubspace has some cool wifi connected products. However, the devices/app have a hard time connecting to wifi. I have a dedicated 2.4ghz network that some hubspace devices connected to and stay connected. The Lights connected but now are offline. The transformer won't even connect! Time to move to a different ecosystem.

If I could give it 0 stars I'd give it that. It always saying offline and I cannot control my devices. Tried deleting the the device and reinstalling it, killed the power to the outlet and also paused and unpaused the connection and still kept saying "offline". As soon as I get the time I'm going to uninstall the plug and the app then throw it in the trash! Waste of money

I like this app, but you need to have it so that when scheduling on and off times for your 120 watt flood lights, you can make changes to the times and it will reflect all lights in a group and not having to make the time change to each light individually. For example, I have 6 of your colored 120 watt flood bulbs outside, each time I update the on/off time, I must do each bulb one at a time. Would be very much appreciated! Thank you

Sprinkler "timer" schedule fails. When you schedule it to run it doesn't run. It doesn't tell you it didn't run nor does it have the ability to tell you when it does run. So this "timer" doesn't really work except for manual runs. Additionally, you have to set up times for each valve individually. Most manual dual timers are smart enough to run the valves in series so they get full water pressure. Plug works well. String lights are cool.

Update: All voice commands now work after unlinking from Home and relinking. OP: Fan speed controls do not work with Google. Fan speeds work with remote. I can dim lights with voice commands. Remote works great. Setup worked okay. Dimming lights worked great with voice and remote. I'll keep device as I can still change ceiling fan speed with remote, and hope there is a hubspace update that fixes fan speed voice issues.

Can't decide if the app or the hardware sucks. The lights absolutely will not work with an Orbi RB50 mesh, so deployed R7000 with just 2.4G active and lights STILL won't reliably set up. Pretty frustrated with the lot. And I bought 36 of the blasted things. 5 work reliably. Look elsewhere for smart lights. Ok, so issue seems to be the app. Specifically, device setup on Android (Pixel 6 and 7): app cannot identify wifi networks. All lights setup wothout issue on iPhone....

Won't get past welcome screen. After hitting the Let's Get Started button it says "Sorry that didn't work quite right. Try signing in again." But that is all . There is no way to sign in or enter the actual app or use it. Ugh! NOTE: it seems to not work because my available browsers are Samsung Internet or Brave. Some sort of conflict with the app. This needs to be fixed.

The app worked Okay for the first 4-5 months of usage, and setting up a schedule for our light to turn on and off at a specific time. However, about 1-2 months ago, I found that the light would randomly stop obeying our schedule set and turn off in the middle of the night always. Afterwords, I went ahead tried resetting the schedule to realize it didnt work. The light continues to not follow our schedule and turn off when it wants to.

it has cool features. I'm not sure if it's the lights or app but if you have multiple lights on the "group" and want to use the app to set a timer, even though multiple lights are in a "group", you have to set a timer for individual light. also, there is always 1 light in my "group" that isn't online and won't turn on

We use 8-10 of these wifi switches over 2 homes--while home or away. plugs, lamp holders, exterior cords and a color-changing LED bulb. Very pleased with ease of connection/reconnection, to wifi and the app, reliability. The app is easy to use. We also use all the devices with Google Home in both locations. Only some options of the color changing bulb are not fully functional with Google. We even have a couple unused spares, bought on sale, that we haven't found uses for yet! Recommended!
