I hate this game now. After upgrade (which is mandatory), there are so many issues! The auto saving system is totally broken. You started the staging, do something else, come back, you have to redo it AGAIN! It's like that was supposed to be your previous steps which were done long before. It happened so many times!! You can renovate two houses at the same time. But guess what, I finished all the staging of one house and about to list it, then the screen started buffering. I restarted the app. Boom! Shows ERROR! All the work were gone!! I had to restart from buying it. I hope all those money I spend on staging didn't get wasted. I also hated they canceled the rush up mini game to reduce the renovation time. Now after watch 3 videos(which doesn't work at all right now), all you can do is to wait for hours to finish(yeah sure or you can use like 80 hearts to finish right now. I mean how much real money you have to spend for that). Hope you guys really fix these. Otherwise it's not fun to play it anymore, it only pisses you off.

The game concept is amazing, but the implementation is poor. Some aspects are fine, such as having multiple color options for the rooms and multiple types of homes to renovate. However, the color swatches frequently don't match the actual thing. Plus, having two main styles of staging is quite boring. Not only that, the profit calculator usually doesn't work. This is essential for the profit ladder. I don't even have the space for all of the problems in this game. It needs a serious update.

I absolutely love this game! The design, the idea, etc. Overall, a great game. HOWEVER, I didn't enjoy the time it took to complete the tasks. There were just waaaaay too many things that required hours of wait time if you didn't have hearts to spare and this adds up to a house taking DAYS to complete if you're a NORMAL person with a job and a life. Also, it is VERY expensive to purchase hearts because if you want to make a dent in your workload, you HAVE to purchase at LEAST $10 worth of hearts. And do you know what that fixes? ONE HOUSE. The achievements you hit to get there are too spaced out and the ONE mini game it contains has a 4 hour reboot time with a small pay out. There is no option to earn hearts any other way, so it pay or wait. I really enjoyed this game, but it takes too much time to do it right, so I'm uninstalling. ✌🏽

While I have been enjoying the game thus far, I have noticed a few things that kinda ruin the experience. Somehow I keep losing connection to the server, and it restarts the game, sometimes making me lose progress. Also, my achievements aren't updating, so I'm out of hearts at an inconvenient time when in reality I should have more. These are really my only problems, regardless the game is adorable and extremely fun!

After latest update, this game now gets a 5 star rating from me--this is fun to play, has great graphics, and it's playable without paying money. My only complaint was that higher levels take ridiculously long with 9-10 hours to complete a task, but now that I can have multiple houses in progress, that's not a problem since I always have something I can do. Great game!

Wanted to like it as I love Chip & JoAnna! It's almost fun, but a miss, so far it is too repetitive. I think this game needs to provide comparables to create a little strategy. And checking out the comparables would give you something to do while waiting....always waiting for the contractors to finish. I also think you should be able to learn to do some of the easier tasks yourself!

I wish there was more customization. For example, when you choose recessed lighting, instead of having the sconces lamps and ceiling fan, you could choose one or more. Also it's be more fun if there was a wall demo action. One other thing I would like to see in future is if the houses didn't all have the same general layout. Like we can move the kitchen to a different side or put furniture in a different corner. That would make this game 100% better and I could get my fixer upper fox lol

I really like the game and would like to continue playing but I do have some issues that led me to uninstalling the game. 1) it is very glitchy. The game lags really bad. 2) it won't let me login with my FB so my progress could be saved. Every time I tried the game shut down. 3) half the time the game would close on its own or wouldn't even open. If these problems get fixed I would definitely play again.

The game glitches pretty bad. Love the game as a whole, but I've ended up doubling my changes because the game will "forget" about something. I just made enough elbow grease to do the (20 hour) countertop in Seattle and had 8 hours left, the game glitched, and now I have to do it all over again. This happens almost every house. Makes me want to stop playing.

This game was fun at first but became very monotonous. I kept playing to get to the next city, only to find the houses in the next city were similar tonthe previous houses in the other towns but needing more work. Choices become boring, house layouts become boring. It is too bad because it had potential to be a great game. Also, are you going to update and get rid of the Christmas decorations?? That is also starting to get very annoying.

Fun little game so far. Right up my alley. Unfortunately it seems like there are still a few bugs to work out. I have a hard time getting windows to close, the "X" does not want to click. I tap around repeatedly in it's area to get it to go through. At one point I could not get the settings window too close so I had to restart the game. At the time that I restarted it I had a house up for sale. Before restarting the app the house, a farm house, was rated for "small family." When I relaunched the game it changed to "single." Can't wait for future updates. Edit: Every time I close the game while selling a house it reverts it to a "single" person home. Edit 2: There's a typo on the window where it gives you the option to list. It says "Offer appears every minutes" at the bottom.

Very basic. Things are done only in sets, with no option to control finer details. So for example I cannot paint an accent wall or add a rug, I can only paint the full room or place a full furniture set. No knocking down walls, and the layouts are extremely repetitive. Very few styles/colors/options to choose from. Tasks also take forever and are illogically timed - why does it take longer to put one bowl of fruit in the kitchen than it does to put in a new floor and paint?

Kind of boring. The wait time is too long between jobs and if you only have a few contractors it goes by even slower. The mini game is alright but spending hearts of you fail takes longer to save hearts to buy more contractors. I also thought it would be more of me choosing the items to put in the house rather than having them already there and you change them. The controls aren't great especially when I'm trying to collect from the magnolia trees, it will take me inside the house instead of clicking on the tree. If there were other little games you could play whilewaiting besides the matching game that would kill the time and be more fun.

I like the game. I like the new updates with multi flips & new mimi games. I also would like the old mini games back so you can speed up wait time. Waiting 10 hrs to do jobs is ridiculous. Also some of the High price homes never get near the asking price. Would also like to see Reno options separated and more realistic prices. Should not have to buy ceiling fan and lights. Spending $2000 to stage just a bedroom in low income housing and $100s for a fruit bowl in the kitchen are not realistic. I would like to see staging as an option, not a requirement.

I actually love this game. It is very slow going, though. I wish there were easier/faster ways to get elbow grease. And the idea of getting another contractor is impossible unless you literally buy one with your own life cash. The only reason I gave only 4 is because I've flipped five houses and made decent profits, but I can't go any faster because the heart situation. I wish games didnt require money to get somewhere! I will never spend my money for a game!

Love it! Very addicting game... however, I had to take back some of my stars because the game keeps freezing and I had just completed a flip and when I went to view the listings, the game froze again. I had to reboot and when i went back in half of my progress was gone and so were half of my ❤'s!!! I had already completed the entire flip and somehow, it all got deleted! This was very frustrating as its already a time consuming process! Hopefully this gets fixed soon and my hearts reimbursed!

Love the flipping houses...but ... Its fun to flip houses, but the only thing I dont like about this app is it takes forever to do & unless you purchase hearts(elbow grease) you get stuck in a flip. Options are limited & its kinda confusing to use the app. Example,I flipped a house but realized all floors did not match. I couldn't figure out how to get back into the house to fix it & do some other upgrades. That was extremely frustrating. If it happens again I will just uninstall the app.

I'm revising my review after reaching Chicago. The developers don't seem to want you to actually play this game. Counters, countertops, or appliances have a 24 hour timer. I have 6 contractors and it still takes far too long to fill my energy bar. Hearts are so limited you will have a hard time playing without paying. The lack of true design choices make for far less engaging gameplay than could have otherwise been. The interior choices make almost no difference at all. You only have to match financial level and very basic style choice like modern or traditional. Colors and schemes make no difference at all. The game quickly becomes boring and repetitive. It's fun for the first town or two but the higher levels that should become more rewarding are far less so. The potential is there but the execution seems to solely rely on celebrity recognition to get players to buy their way past tedious wait times.

I love watching Fixer Upper. I was excited to try this game. It was fun at first but there are only a handful of house layouts and not many decorative choices so it quickly becomes boring. You can increase the amount of choices over time but it takes a really long time and your already bored so the small amount that you gain doesn't make much difference.

The game is great. The mini-games are ok but I have some beef with the paint can one, not only would it be impossible if you are colorblind (no option to mark if you are) a lot of the "combination matches" are wrong. Some red and blue should make purple, not a wired-off pinky color. Thank you for your response. Looking forward to future updates! 😀
