In 2016 I ADORED this app. Now, 3/18/24-I am never able to use the app now. It constantly spins, doesn't connect to internet, and if I am able to get on it's super slow. I tried the app again being hopeful, but I am seeing the same issues from 2021 and 2022. Also I would love if the deposits required at the hotel were included or noted somewhere so we as customers are prepared. I've gotten into the habit of calling ahead now.

For someone like me who spends 3/4 of the year in hotels the One Key change was a dissaster. Used to be 10 nights spent = one free night. Now you need to spend 30 plus nights to get the worth of a free night. Not happy. Looking for alternatives. Plus you get an automated reply to your review glorifying the benefits of "cross platforms".

I booked a hotel, and it got canceled twice with no reason. I contacted an agent and told me that the property canceled my reservation because my credit card is not valid, which is not true. However, the reservation still appears in my app as it was active. Because of this, I can't delete my account. This is the worst app and service ever! This app is also retaining my personal information in the app.

I used to really like the app, but the switch over to the new system changed the payment page so that you can't directly pay with a gift card or PayPal from it, so you have to click a link to take you to the old payment page, but you have to log in again for it to show you're on the page and when you try to log in again it freezes. Had to uninstall just so I could use the website on my phone without it forcing me to the app. Also the new reqard system is awful.

Can't continue past start screen because a puzzle authenticator keeps popping up after successfully completing it. I finish the puzzle, the start screen shows for only a second then the puzzle pops up again. 'Round-and-round, over and over. Tell your developers to get a clue and fully test features before releasing them to the public!

Update to their response: I use hotels enough that the one free night for every 10 nights was a great deal! I don't use VRBO or Expedia so getting 2% back is a major reduction in value. I'll just book directly with the hotel or use a hotel rewards credit card Original: hate the new rewards system. effectively went from 10% back as a free hotel night every 10 nights to a abysmal 2% cash back.

Horrible app, doesn't log you in even if you type the correct password. It says "something wrong on our end please try again". Ever since they stopped being hotels com and were purchased and absorbed into expedia, the app has just been trash. Doesn't load well at all. If the internet connection isn't "stable", the app starts you all the way over. Not to mention the "one key" rewards program is a joke, you "earn" "rewards" at much at much lower rate than the 10 stay one free.

The app is garbage, you can never sign in and see your rewards, book, or do anything signed in. Every time you wish to book a room you have to enter your info again. It is frustrating, and it's even more frustrating that it's been like this since before the one key disaster. Look for an alternative to the one key system that won't let you use the app.

One of the worst apps I have used. You put in filters and it will bring up hotels without what you choose. It doesn't show you your location on the map so if you are in an unfamiliar area you have to jump between Google maps and the app. The biggest issue I have is it doesn't have a microwave and fridge option in the filter but I doubt it would work if it was there. On top of that you can't copy the address of the hotel to put it into your own maps app

App has a great selection and ease of use. Have been an exclusive user for years. was very happy. However, I am now quite disappointed with the recent change to the rewards program. The earnings were very fair at 10 stays to receive one stay free. This new program is terrible. You earn basically nothing per stay. a few dollars is all. Will likely go back to other hotel specific rewards systems and programs as I used to such as Wyndham and Choice. They are 10-15 stays per free night.

Be careful of this app! I have to reset my filters very often, even if I am only enlarging the search area. This is annoying, but even moreso because one of my filters is "reserve now, pay later". I like that this AI somehow works more often when searching for two rooms, each with one person. The competition's search rarely works with that request but this one does. If only it kept the filters in place! Can't recommend this app until it's fixed.

This app used to be wonderful but the changes they have made are just terrible! I hate that they removed the "free parking" filter and the new layout isnt nearly as visually pleasing. The reviews are harder to read and i dont need the map taking up half the space on the page. I have no idea why companies feel the need to change things that aren't broken! Very disappointing! Edit 2/19/2024: dropping score. The changes mentioned by the support staff are even worse!

Since expedia bought them, I have had nothing but problems. The app no longer works unless you have wifi. The past few days, I was not able to login while I had wifi. One of my bookings was to the wrong location. Tried to call, but their phone lines are a mess. Very difficult if not impossible to reach a person. I have used all my rewards and will no longer use them for my reservations. It is a tough choice since they were great from 2010 until now.

The app is unusable now. I couldn't do anything because a credit card ad page would popup every 2-3 seconds while I'm trying to read any page I'm on. When I closed the app and reopened it, I was logged out and the "sign-in" button is totally unresponsive. I've tried 7 or 8 times now over the course of a few days. Trash.

The latest "modern" version of the App is completely useless! As in: i can do absolutely NOTHING with it because when i enter my destination it does nothing, it's a blank screen without a "search" button a nothing appears automatically either. So basically a useless application. You've lost a customer.

I like the APP a lot. Easy to use. They are in affiliation with Expedia and VRBO so your rewards work for all three popular apps. They have a huge inventory with lots of amazing information. Not 5 stars for one issue: if you cancel a non refundable booking you will not get rewards. You will still be charged. So I don't understand the point in canceling and after reaching out to customer service was told they even didn't quite understand that policy. At the very least inform users of this.

I travel a lot both on business and for pleasure and I have been using this app/website for over 10 years. One thing that I have learn is that you are better to book directly with the hotels and spare yourself many problem. Also, you'll spare the hotel heavy fees. The app is practical but isn't worth it. Pay more, get less, customer service is kind but most likely won't help you in the end of you need them.

This app could be a lot better. For one thing it's difficult to find a suitable motel without having to call each property your interested in to get the info you need to know weather or not you can stay there and not wasting your time, money, or gas. For example the main issue i have is there is no way to know If they accept pets and what the pet policy or fee is.

App is garbage. Says not connected to the internet when you click on a property to book. Have updated the app, reset my phone, changed from wifi to cell. Nothing works. Can view my account and past trips as well as searching. But want to I don't know, book a hotel room? Not connected to the internet huh? That's on their end. Posting this review why their app says I'm not connected to the internet. Complete garbage app.

After the Expedia buyout, this service is no longer customer friendly. I used to get a free hotel after 10 stays. Now I get about $20 after 10 stays. Corporate greed at its finest! The app is actually nice and has some great filtering options and is easy to use. Too bad they removed THE perk that was really helpful, especially during this time of high inflation.
