Horizon Chase is by far the best mobile platform racing game I have ever played... This game not only meets and keeps the standards of a good racing game, it also has a bit of an arcade cabinet quality to it (which I greatly appreciate). And I absolutely love the abstract graphics that are put into everything. Like even the water is abstract! In closing, I would like to say: Great work everyone. Y'all never quit being yourselves. Go team!!

Definitely one of my favorite racing games for mobile gaming! I only download offline games due to my location and most offline racing apps just aren't that good. This one is almost perfect! It's fun,addictive and has great graphics. Definitely reminds me of old school arcade games. Also there's no BS involved, no ads & they don't push you to make in app purchases. I would absolutely buy the full game if I wasn't currently out of work!

I actually discovered this game on Steam first. I had no idea it was a mobile game lol. That being said this is the best mobile game I've ever played! I always avoid touchscreen controls like the plague, but the this game's controls are spot on and perfectly placed. The game runs very smooth on my GS7. About the game itself; if you liked Top Gear on the SNES years ago you will absolutely love this game! It pretty much is Top Gear 3. It even stars the original Top Gear music composer who also brought back some tracks from the original. I cannot recommend this game enough.

Let me tell you all about a game called Top Gear, one of the best racing games for the Super Nintendo. It had great mechanics and an iconic soundtrack. It was just plain exciting to play. Horizon Chase seeks to continue that legacy. (complete with the original composer of Top Gear!) The visuals are wonderful, the soundtrack is exciting, and the game itself is tailored very well for mobile. Not only that, I LOVE the one-and-done purchase. I was more than happy to drop $3 for such a fun game.

Works perfect on my Note 9, buttery smooth and beautiful graphics. Love the sequel on the Switch & PC. I had To dock one star unfortunately due to graphical issues on Chromecast with Google TV, in which mainly roads, part of grass, and even the HUD are black or blank which causes it to be hard to see where you are driving on especially anywhere that doesn't have rocks, signs, or trees. Hopefully it can be fixed sometime soon as it otherwise ran great on Android TV.

the game itself is amazing . it looks good and runs smooth. and is super hard. and i like my games hard. the only missing elements are a built in level editor and a realtime multiplayer. they helped me restore my purchase as well which is already a lot coming from a mobile game . the demo is also pretty generous with no ads or scams. though i sugget you get the PC version first as it has more content.

'Horizon Chase' lives up to its billing. —PROS: Where to begin? This game has great graphics, simple but engaging physics, a glorious soundtrack, and a huge variety of cars + tracks. I appreciate that there's zero advertising. You get the first 30 races free to play, like a demo, and if you like the game then you pay a few bucks to unlock the rest. One other thing I love is the Google Play Games achievement trophies. A lot of game devs are too lazy to include them, but not Aquiris. —CONS: None.

Game states that you win new cars when you come in first in all the races! After I eventually got all number ones I never got the new car! just three new levels to race on! no reward for all those hours of play! just a bunch of options that are never going to be available to me! enjoy playing the game but very disappointed in the results! I would be playing now if the deception didn't give the strong urge to post this 1 star! it's really disappointing the way any old 'SCAM ARTIST' can do this!

Nice sound track, plays pretty smooth. Interesting design choice to have the car auto-adjust into turns, probably to make it easy in order to appeal to more casual players (and yet, look at how many bad reviews complain about it being too difficult...). But for all the popularity, it's awfully lacking in depth.

Good game but good lord it's difficult. This is basically Top Gear from the SNES. It's all about dodging other cars as you pass them. Not bad except some of the events are so difficult you have to be perfect to pass them. Hit one car or road sign and you slow down a ton, and you may never recover. But I do like that it's a simple no-nonsense game. Pay one time to unlock the full game and that's it. No microtransactions.

Lots of fun in this arcade car 'Outrun' Retro style racer. Please add game settings giving players the ability to tweak some sound and driving controls. Customize cars (color, tires, stickers etc.). Making the cars more realistic looking and the road surfaces easier to see and navagate. I'm an avid fan of arcade and Sim car games and this game is frustrating and hard to completely enjoy. Please give us a setting game hardness level so we can actually play and win more often the 1st or 2nd time.

It's a cool and fast paced game with play pass, but you still have to grind to get cars & gas. I like the fact that you can follow the career of Ayrton Senna through the different circuits and roads. I have lots of issues controlling the cars and it's really necessary now in 2023 the implementation of a Controller instead of on screen, because the constant use of acceleration and brakes on those killer roads. Overall it's good, steady and not buggy (at least I got no problems with it). So, yeah!

Game is fun and music is great, and it even has gamepad support! This all means it's begging to be played on a TV. However if you try to install the app on the latest generation "Google Chromecast with Google TV", all of the ground textures fail to render so all of the earth is pitch black :(. :( This makes it really hard to see where you're going and totally kills most of the aesthetic! Developers please please please PLEASE fix this! The game is too fun to be stuck playing on a phone!

The game play is great and honestly addicting, like pole position but better. Would be five stars but there are some issues. The first issue is I have to change my control scheme before every race because it defaults to bluetooth controller every time a new race is started. This wouldn't really be a problem because I would prefer to use my 8bitdo n30 pro controller to play this game, however the game only supports a set few controllers for whatever reason and that is not one of them.

Great game and having a lot of fun, but the steering controls could be improved. The buttons to turn are too small for you to not have a joy stick option. Constantly having to move your thumb to click each direction means I eventually over move and miss the button and hit a corner. Add a joy stick to the settings and it would be much less clunky and easier to steer.

The animations and movements are not the same as in the PC game, but everything essential is in this version, which blew me away. The fact that they give you all this fun for free (mostly) is incredibly generous of the developers. The atmosphere (art/music) is superb; it makes the game nostalgic (TopGear) and completely immersive. If you play it with a controller, it's even more fun! The minimap could be a little bit bigger and it would be great if you could play with friends online. Underrated!

The gameplay is awesome, the graphics are Excellent, and the controls aren't that bad. It would be nice if the controls were customizable as well as resizable; however, I honestly LOVE where the inspiration came from, and it brings a lot of nostalgic value. I'm very familiar with pseudo 3d racing games of the past, and Top Gear was my favorite out of all of them, so if you are looking for a very HEAVILY inspired game of that magnitude, I HEAVILY recommend this one.

Okay, I'm very back and forth here. The game looks absolutely stunning. The soundtrack is amazing. The thing that is bringing it down to 2 stars is the actual gameplay. For being a casual game, I find so many levels in this game very difficult, almost impossible. The physics don't really help either. Of you hit a car going 2mph faster/slower than you. You slow down by 50mph- nonsense.. I feel like the AI is better for a derby racing game, not a street racing game. Overall, fun but frustrating.

This is a great arcade racer that is a joy to play, controls feel great, excellent selection of cars, can have fair and fun difficulty challenges, controls are simplistic but dont feel boring. This game does have issues with racer AI, it cannot crash so pushing them into obstacles or they doing it themselves does nothing, they are unaffected by off-road, bumping them from behind can rocket them forward at mach 3 but they dont lose speed when bumping into you

Easily one of the best mobile racing games developed since mobile games came to be. The promise of nostalgia hooked me, and the gameplay, graphics, long list of control set ups and really everything about the game has kept me playing. The one gripe I have, is that everytime I leave the game to check a notification or anything where I leave the game the sound doesn't work when I come back to it. If that were fixed I would rate this 5/5 for sure!
