their prices are good at the beginning but either way you still have too wait 10 min for a car too arrive, so if you need too get somewhere fast I wouldn't use this app, a taxi would be faster but not cheaper, I think I might stay with Uber cause my ride said 4 min then went too 10 , I was going too cancel but I hate doing that, I think a driver who is closer get the ride cause I hate waiting this long

Hopp is not at all safe. Drivers are a bunch of thugs. 2 bad experiences in kess than 5min. There is no safety feature that acts promptly. driver 1 chose to start the ride without picking me up and drove off. I could not cancel the right away. the app wouldnt allow me to. tried looking for a safety button, there was none. Imagine getting stuck on a ride with a thug. . the driver 2. continuing to drive west without starting the ride ...what was supposed to be a 5min wait, is a 28min wait

Absolutely the worst! I requested a ride and I had two regular luggage and three or four bags and when I was halfway through the driver cancelled the ride and said "I'm not a moving truck" and told me to remove the bags. This is not the worst part, they charged me cancelation fees and I didn't cancel nor did I refuse the trip!!! I've been waiting for their response in the app for almost 24 hours now on a Wednesday and so far nothing!! 0 stars!!!

If two other similar apps take one way faster, this app takes the longer way to get to the same destination. What would cost ~$50-$55 on the other two apps, the same trip would cost ~$85-$90 on Hopp. Even with a 50% off promo (Max. $15 off). Not worth.

Changing my review from 5 to 1 star simply because they took away the 50% off next 7 rides and reduced it to 10% before i even had the chance to use them. I don't mind paying full price after using up the discounts that were promised to me, but this is done in bad faith and I'd rather take my money somewhere else.

This app displays fake cars on the map, creating the illusion of good coverage, but it's not real. I ordered twice, and despite the map showing many cars, none were actually available to take my request. Don't mislead riders—some may have important appointments, and this false representation can cause serious inconvenience.

was a first time user of hopp and yesterday when I ordered a ride home from my dr office the first driver arrived didn't wait and canceled the ride. the 2nd driver didn't even show up and canceled the ride. when I tried contacting customer support I didn't get response and have still been waiting fir a response on both the case numbers I have opened up. the drivers I got were excellent but customer service is horrible and there is no phone number to call customer service which makes it even wors

I usually give 5 stars for every ride. but today I am so disappointed. I booked a ride for supposed to be 20 dollars. but suddenly you charged me double. and your reason is because it took longer than expected? what the heck for reason was that? you should have calculated that before you give the amount. and it wasn't really far. it was only 24km away. I hope I get a REFUND for this.

This is a scam app. I just downloaded it requested it ride. told me the charge is $15.50 after asking me to add my credit card. When I got home I got charged $25 without my consent They charged me extra ten dollars on the phone it's saying because you're right, took longer. I only found out about the extra charge once.I opened the app. I will make sure to post this all over social media. So everyone can avoid this app HOPP scam.

to be honest, it's not a popular app yet. so far, the drivers have been horrible. Half of the drivers I've taken don't speak English. there should be a rule for that. I shared with other friends, and It says you will get 5 free rides once they download the app and use it. I got nothing. It's one big scam. Their customer service is a non-existent for a big company. They have a lot to improve. Compared to other apps, Hopp is more expensive.

Was very qgood at the beginning . Reduced fares quoted , however , drivers would cancel after you've waited several minutes... this may have happened two or three times for each ride request made . So , to if you need to be somewhere on time , call one of the other ride share apps. Also , got two friends to sign up with Hopp I was offered a big discount once they booked their first trip. Hopp later said friends did not enter code accurately ... So I deleted .

Absolutely terrible navigation system. Not the drivers fault, but using this app is not worth the couple of dollars in savings. Tried to book a ride, driver was 3 min away from my pick up spot. The app sent him 20 min away in the exact opposite direction.

I used Hopp for 4 rides because they gave me 50% off. Twice they had my pinned pick up point wrong. The GPS is atrocious and tried to send the drivers in the literal opposite direction of my destination during 1 ride. During another, the driver had to ask me to direct him because the GPS guided him to an intersection. And during 2 rides, the drivers made u-turns on busy streets. This app is trash and doesn't feel remotely safe.

I decided to try this for the very first time. Of course they connect me with a driver who doesn't follow the map at all and I'm screaming at him when to turn and where to go. My second time using this my new driver that I got connected with decided he didn't want to stop at the store I was in front of and stopped else where. He was another terrible driver who almost got us into many accidents and didn't care to follow the map. I have deleted my account and will never use this service again.

Haven't actually gone on a ride yet but I got the app because it suggested it would cheaper than Uber. It's not, it actually seems more expensive. I think it's kinda douchey that it wouldn't let me figure out the cost of going to various locations without putting in my credit card data, makes it harder to test.

App is quite buggy, the map is almost never correct. one time it shows driver is 20 mins away, i call the driver he says, he is here. Also, not sure who's fault it is, I saw the car coming from a distance but in the app, the 2 min wait time countdown had already started. No, I did not change the location, then he came after 20 secs and the wait time couter was already running.

CS seems non-existent. It's horrible trying to get any kind of response. You just get an AI bot that responds after one message. Which states, "We received your message, someone will respond to you shortly." However, it also comes with a disclaimer, which states the response time will be delayed as they are experiencing a high volume of concerns 😒. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.

I used the Hopp ride-hailing app and was quoted an estimated fare of $21.53. After the ride, I was charged $47.75. I later discovered a $13.27 "booking fee" included in the final fare that was not disclosed before confirming the ride. One agent claimed the booking fee was “mandated by the city and remitted directly to them,” while others said it was to cover Hopp’s operational costs. These cannot both be true. They refused the refund. Be cautious of this app and the hidden charges!!!!

This is the worst ride app I've ever used. The drivers are extremely slow, their navigation program is an embarrassment (even the drivers complain about it), and the customer service is non-existent. Support took over a week just to respond, and was entirely unhelpful. Every time I've used it, what should have been a 10 minute trip took 3 times that. They also pay their drivers the same as the other apps, despite what they claim (also confirmed by drivers). Don't waste your time.

This has been by far the worst ride share app experience ever. What was supposed to be a 15 minute ride ended up taking nearly an hour. The app's map software is absolutely horrendous. The routes it showed were by far the worst possible, and even on the driver's end, it showed the incorrect pick-up at no fault of the driver but the app's. At it's current state, the app will barely last a few months. As soon as the discounts are gone, the app will be dead. Terrible experience
