This app now wouldn't work on my phone after a software update on the phone. I may have to cancel my subscription if this is not resolved soon. The inconsistency of how this app works is unfortunate, it has to be as reliable as a keyfob for it to be useful for what it is used for. I expected much higher app quality from Honda, the same expectations I have for the car itself.

Does not work at times. Once you complain it takes an excessive amount of time for them to respond, not to mention fix it. They attempt to call you, send you an email, then request your phone number, email and all the same info they already have! Always the same issue. App is worthless if it does not work properly!

Buggy. Laggy. Crashes all the time, especially after the update 4/17/2024. Completely unusable now since you can't even launch it properly. Very cumbersome prior. AT&T cellular network (used by Honda) is very poor in my area. Doubtful $10/month is worth it. Feedback falls on deaf ears. Watch as a review bot tells me again to submit feedback.

For some strange reason the remote control features are just missing from the App for me. it was there and working a few days ago as I have an up to date and paid account. today the remote and car status are missing so I'm basically paying for a feature that's gone now. Someone should really test updates before they send them out.

the app does not give me the ability at all to upgrade the features. I want to pay for remote but it's not available to me although it should be based on the make and model of my car. Extremely frustrating. Editing to add that the stock answer provided by Honda does not address my issue. I'm already aware that these features are available to me. therefore, I'm attempting to reporting an issue with your app. Honda is turning into a company with absolutely terrible service as evidenced here.

Have used this app since I owned a 2018 CR-V then a 23 Accord and now a 24 Prologue. Have to say this app has been nothing but s disappointment. From losing remote features every month when it renews to remote commands failing when trying to remote start DM l from the app. Every month is a call and scalding to honda's engineering team and every month the same issues. I thought that by brining onstar to the prologue it would improve the experience but once again it's been a let down

I only got this app to be able to use the MyQ functionality. Smart notifications are set to pop up a notification as I'm approaching my house so I can click to open my garage door. This worked a few times but seems to have stopped working recently. If I'm going to have to hunt around for an app on my car, I might as well pull out my phone and do it for free. I'm definitely not impressed with this feature that requires a subscription to use.

I have installed the app, enabled auto updates and I see the message that I need to install an update to continue using the app. However, my only options are Open or Uninstall. Honda link takes a very long time to link. with my car. Most recent update made the app impossible to use. Good thing Honda is not actually offering a fix for the second recall SUVs are subject to. Ridiculous.

HondaLink app is a joke 🤣. Not even a few basic options other than seeing the mileage... My previous car, Chevy Equinox, which cost way less than Honda Pilot, have way better app with more features like lock, unlock, remote start, and other. Honda is pretty basic here. How to improve the app: This is very easy as currently app doesn't have any 'real' features anyway. So add any small feature and you have improved the app. Not sarcasm but disappointed. At current state, app is useless 👎

The app itself is fine. Its connecting your android phone wireless via Bluetooth to the car that doesn't work. Nothing wrong with your phone. It's the hondalink in the car that doesn't work. You have to do complicated restart to get it to work for few weeks. After few weeks, you have to redo the process all over again. To restart the honda system in your car, search on YouTube.

Why do I need this freaking app just to connect Bluetooth? Another invasive bloatware that is unnecessary and pointless. Reply to Honda: I never needed an app to connect by Bluetooth before. You've essentially taken something that worked perfectly fine before, in fact better, away from me and thousands of others. Now this app, drops the Bluetooth connection constantly and I have to continuously log into the app to make it work. Stop the greed, stop the data mining and the restrictions.

After multiple times installing and uninstalling the app to try and get past the sign in page, I was able to only to be brought to an option to purchase basic features that are included in most of the car manufacturer's apps nowadays. I was very surprised after spending over $30k on a vehicle that this service wasn't free and the "basic" free options on the app aren't really useful. I am very disappointed at this point.

Garbage! I have called support. Escalated three levels up 3 times. My app and car won't connect. The last call, I was told that my app, not my car, my app, is registered under the previous owners email address. If they can change it, it'll take days. That has been 3 weeks. Update. They just called me back and I'm able to connect now. They said it's because they no longer link without a paid subscription so they had to do it on their end.

I have used this app since 2018. In that time, there were moments I would rate it 4 stars, but lately it does very little than crash. I uninstall, reinstall, and it still crashes. My car is currently plugged into my charger at work... not charging because I cannot turn the charge on via this app. This, the incompetence of the coding team will cost you money. I should also mention that I would contact customer support, but the app will not let me go past the accepting legal terms page.

HondaLink is plagued with latency issues. The HondaLink app boasts comprehensive features and a reasonable interface. However, it's marred by significant latency issues, often leading to a frustrating user experience. - The climate control command takes 1 to 2 minutes, which requires babysitting. - Low tire warning required logging out and reauthentication for this to refresh following a service at the dealership - The app buttons are non responsive when the app is refreshing.

I was able to download this app, but not able to gain access to the 90 days complimentary trial before purchasing a subscription. All it does is show the mileage, the oil life and the total range. There's a link for support and roadside assistance and service, but support wasn't able to provide support. I guess I won't give Honda an annual subscription since I can't access the 90 days complimentary. It's virtually useless right now (23 HP Elite). Update: App is ok, but I don't care for cost.

I downloaded the app as recommended by the salesperson. All I can see in the app is my vehicle information and vin. There is no interactive app. No option to subscribe or start a free trial. The only option I see is to link my garage door opener which is not possible because the garage is too far from my router (apartment). I have no idea why I downloaded the app or what it is supposed to do.

Connects to the car fine, but: - None of the information will sync. - Doesn't recognize any information FROM the car - Doesn't send information FROM the car - Can't schedule service in the app, it just redirects to a phone call This app is basically just "Here's your car, here's your dealer. Good luck"

Absolute trash. Had a problem connecting, but it seems the problem was that Honda was taking a while to create my account for my car on their end. But I'm still eating them a 1 star because their features are slow to load, and they want me to pay $200+ for super basic remote features. Absolute waste of money.

Update: 08/12/24- App controls seem to be working perfectly now after I called technical support. They were able to reboot and restart the app on their end to get the controls commands to work properly. They were very helpful and solved the issue within 10mins. I am very satisfied with customer service Honda Link app seems not to work or pop up the control bar to turn the car on climate control. Ive6 had the monthly subscription 2 months now, and I can't get it to work.
