This is a great game and time waster that is well paced so you only have to check it every now and again. The only thing I would recommend to fix is the army customization, as once you train a unit, the only way to get rid of it is for it to die. Its hard to get the army you want when you unlock new units as its completely randomized

Very entertaining idle experience. The core progression is interesting as far as idles go, and there are no ads and it's extremely non-intrusive -- there's only one microtransaction I believe, which gives you a small in-game advantage, but it's mostly to benefit the developer (which you should do! We need more games like this on mobile). I played this way longer than almost any other idle, even though the current version is relatively short. I'm looking forward to future updates!

Overall a great game. It's simple but fun. Though I recommend to add some more flavor by having some pre-generated text via computer about the daily life of the people in town. Like a town diary of it makes sense. It can be funny and random and we can see how the population reacts to new buildings and winning battles. Other than that, keep it up!

I've been quite addicted to this game this week! Just upgraded to the gold edition to show some support to the devs. The management aspect is fairly simple at first, but becomes quite interesting as you realize which resources you need, which you don't, and adapt accordingly My only complaint is the game logic feels a bit arbitrary at times. Half of the game progresses exponentially (resources / buildings), but the other half is linear (food / workers / army).

It's a good idle game overall, not quite 5 stars yet. I ended up spending the $4.95 on it because I appreciate a dev that doesn't insert an ad at every turn. I look forward to further development for a 5 star rating, here are a few suggestions that I hope help. 1) The unit battles could be a bit more intuitive or interactive. It seems useless to have tank units because of random damage. 2) Exponential unit production would cater to an active play style. 3) New unlocks need more explanation.

What an interesting game! No major learning curve, no crazy ads popping up every time I clicked somewhere. Loved the storyline and the building aspects of it. Now that the main story is completed, I feel like there should be more tales to be told. I could write more on why this a great first game, but I'll keep it simple: I'll be keeping my eye open for more titles from these folks!

A good idle game in a sea of idle garbage. It isnt perfect, but it is a great game none the less. Biggest problem so far is the Army system, specifically having to kill out your army to replace sub-par units with better ones. It is made even more difficult with your army retreating at certain points before all of your units die (struggling to replace early tank units) meaning you cant even wipe it clean to start over. An added "fire unit" feature would correct this problem entirely imo.

Fun and worth the upgrade; however I can't upgrade! Please fix. I click on the upgrade button in the game but nothing happens. Extremely fun game for those who like to micromanage things. Other than the issues with the tank units which others have mentioned, one of the best games I've played in a couple of years. Hope to see more from your company in the future.

Love this game!!! Just finished. I dont know what it was, but it just scratched every itch of mine. It doesnt feel fair at first, but once it clicks.... it just clicks. There is a moment where you feel progress has halted. You know, that "wall" in all idle games. But it actually gives way! When you can turn a house into a villa the game explodes and opens up. Hang on till then.

This is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I like to play actively instead of idle despite the name. It's amazing seeing how much my civilization can advance just from the invention of glass or the discovery of iron, etc. A couple small suggestions: When a resource is earning -0 per second, can you round that to +0? I hate seeing the red text. It makes me think there's a problem with my worker distribution for a second. Also if the units could reflect how many space they take up too.

Thanks for adding Valhalla option to recycle obsolete troops. Great little game for a busy lifestyle. It's not idle but not too demanding of my time and attention either. I do wish it had more content. I've already won and started over again. Maybe add some sort of colonization feature ("start over in a new continent with limited support from your homeland") to essentially start a new game but keep some buffs or stats from your original game, so it doesn't feel like losing it all at the end.

The mechanics in this game are pretty well made, and the different resources that need to be gathered and produced to expand the settlements and the army are also interesting. The descriptive stats are helpful for upgrades, and the game has a satisfying mix between grinding vs progress. I think it could be improved with some ergonomic changes. For example, in the Town, the picture takes up half the screen, but the user must scroll to get through all the sub-menus, which gets annoying.

Edit: dropping review to 1 star due to removing content that players PAID for access without any conpensation. Home quest starts fine, but runs out of steam. Pros: +No ads. +Early-game progression is quick +The story elements are written well, even though the overarching narrative is meaningless. Cons: -No "active play" system to earn progress -Massive, time consuming difficulty spikes in the late game -Virtually no variety in content (fights, enemies, gameplay) past the mid game (navy)

Actually liked this game for a while but managed to piss me off like 2 separate times. Played this like 2 years ago before major update, bought whatever the premium pack was at the time, gone now. Literally was trying to play it for an hour, moved off the app (had it still open but not active atm) to do something else, and when i moved back to see my progress on my materials it sent me back TO SQUARE ONE. I had gotten past what was functionally the tutorial and it's dumb save feature did nothin

The new update is horrible, what the hell were they thinking of? It went from neatly fitting in my screen, to being a bloated mess, with most the information hidden behind two or three taps for the sake of making it look simpler than it is, and some information you could see before is just gone now. They've removed so much for no reason. Whatever happened to regional leaderboards???? This is atrocious. I want the old game back.

After the most recent update, multiple features I paid for were changed or removed and now require me to buy them again. The UX and UI are clunky and cluttered and the gameplay has been pulled to a grinding halt. My other empire is gone forever, management of resources has become tedious and boring, and everything that made me love this game has either been changed or removed. If I could get my money back, I would.

Great game before the update. My previous rating was 5 stars. After the update, the interface feels cluttered and complicated, and it feels like it was designed for an audience that would play it for a short time and then get lost in it. There's now a goal to keep a bonfire burning for 7 days. To get workers, you have to individually train them, when before, you could just assign workers. It makes the game tedious and boring. I wish I could revert to the old version, truthfully.

I'm very disappointed. I was playing an older version and decided to update. All of my progress is gone. My active efforts from the last two hours are meaningless. Yes, I played the old one for two hours because of insomnia. It was my first play, and I was sucked in. It was good. The game is completely different now. Maybe it's better in some ways, but I wish I could reinstall the old version and import my old game (which I did export). I am giving up with this app and am just uninstalling it.

It's a fun game, but as soon as I got hit with a new "Buy the upgrade!" screen that I had to wait 5 more seconds to close, just for opening the game, the rating dropped. The near constant reminder in the bottom left corner that "an upgrade is available" should be enough advertisement.

Had some issues early on with getting an account but it was all sorted out. Main complaint now is for some reason this offline game no longer works offline, which is the whole reason I got into it. I'm not sure what happened but whenever I have no service it only gives me the option to wait till I have service again which is a big bummer. Other than that it is a great idle game that a few of my friends also enjoy.
