I wanted to add a note to my previous review. I recently lost my phone and had to contact customer service because I was unable to recover my purchased translations on my new phone. Their representative was friendly, professional, and responded quickly to my issues. I was able to get back everything I thought I'd lost. In addition to being a convenient and useful app, it obviously has people behind it who care about their customers. I absolutely stand by my previous 5 star rating.

Tecarta - The Holy Bible KJV I have been using this particular Bible App for quite a few years. I must say that I am more than satisfied with it. In appreciate the synching of scripture across all my devices. The ability to share, the highlights, categorizing of notes and cross-references. Once in awhile a glitch with copy and forwarding features but not enough to complain about. Overall, I think it is the best Bible App out there. This is the one. Good customer support.

Sitting in the preaching service I can jump from book to book right along with the preacher, sometimes faster! Being able to enlarge the text is a major plus for these old eyes 😁 - July, 2023. Update provided is so bad that I had to change my rating. They need to provide the older version as a side step for people who don't need or want all the bells and whistles. All I want is something that I can read my Bible with back step to the previous verse which I can no longer do. Now worthless.

This is a really good KJV Bible app for study purposes. The features I like most are the built-in cross-references (accessible when you press/hold underlined text) and that you can get clarification of certain terms (when you press/hold the superscripts). You can also look up the definition of ANY word by holding down on that word (which opens up Google to pull up definitions). These are all huge time-savers. The ability to add notes, highlight scripture, etc., are also nice. Well done!

I really like the app. But for those of us who study and depend upon a tool to help us even further, I would suggest the ability to file verses by topics and highlights so that they can help us memorize them. Also, to be able to play them all of each topic file. Many bible apps are overlooking the ability to help in memorizing scripture. Thank you, I really love the fast audio access. God bless you

I've used this app for years now, I've changed devices multiple times and it's never lost any information I've put in it, it really does save everything from highlights to margin notes. I can go back and look at notes i put in from the very first time I've ever used it. Multiple colors to highlight with, and a underline option. There's so much that can be done with this app including downloading study and devotional bibles.

I've been using the Tecarta app for several years now and really like it. Simple, but nice ability with notes and bookmarks and a general good interface for reading. They just updated the Tecarta app to make it more fancy and it detracted from the reading experience. I found this app which still has the old interface. I just hope they won't spoil it.

I have been using this app for nearly a decade now, and it has remained stable and relatively unchanged for all that time. I have most of my verses in the KJV, some in the Chinese characters, and a few in NKJV. I also have some passages of the Westminster Confession and hymns! I have been able to transfer the database to four different phones without having to reenter the material. I just wish the iPhone version had an identical interface.

I have used this app for over 5 years. It has been a blessing. It's easy to use the search portion, I started using the devotion and dictionary. I use it during church to write sermon notes. Easy to access, easy reading and you can adjust the font, easy to write thoughts as you read, easy to mark verses. Really am thankful and enjoyed this app. One other thing, you can listen as they read the bible to you, while you work, clean or relax!! They offer a variety of options.

Good app. I like having God's Word so easily accessible. The dramatization also makes it easy to listen to. Two things could use improvement though: if I have the screen turned off while I'm listening (like when I'm driving) it will stop reading after two chapters when it really should continue until I tell it to stop. The other thing is it's a bit cumbersome to copy verses and not as intuitive as my other Bible app, MySword.

I like that I can share information easily and I can print out my verse and journal notes. The highlighting is easy to use. A whole verse or just a word or phrase can be highlighted. I love my notes can be right at the verse it applies to. They seemed to think of everything that is needed. They said if you make an account your notes etc. is backed up on the cloud so it won't be lost during an update. Also, with an account, I am able to use 2 different devices. So far very happy.

I installed another version of this app 10 years ago. Tecarta periodically uninstalls the app and replaces it with a different version without warning or my permission. It's a bit annoying because I lose my notes and bookmarks. I also don't like change once I get used to something. I just wish they would just let me enjoy the app without changing it without my permission!!

The new version has a cluttered design with a bar of features I don't need. I don't need the home or plans or touchpoints or the ability to switch versions quickly. Just put the search where the version switcher is and have the ability to hide everything but the top menu and it'd be great! (or split the buttons between the top and bottom like the good version) I just want a simple Bible app where I can read the Bible without the distractions.

I've used and loved this app for many years, and appreciate some of the improvements that have come along. But the original commitment to unobtrusive, cheaply-removed advertisements has been lost. With the new dedicated search tab, you can be hit with a full-screen, delayed-close secular ad in the middle of your Bible study, and there's no longer an option for a one-time purchase to remove them. Since this kind of back-and-forth search-and-study is my main use, I'm looking for a replacement app.

Edit: In version 10, added "touch points," which adds some subtle works salvation heresy. It used to be a simple, clean app where these extra things could be turned off. Old Review:(This is the best Bible app to use. The interface looks clean and nice. It doesn't nag you to make in-app purchases. It syncs across devices and even cross platform to IOS. I use it for listening to the Bible as well. I can play and pause the audio from the lock screen and even see the specific verse it is reading.)

New update is horrible, this use to be the perfect app. I agree with others, it's cluttered, doesn't scroll without constantly stopping, there's some bar that stays across the bottom of the screen, keeps running after stopping it, I could go on. I had this app for over ten years and now I have to look for a new one, highly disappointed that yous changed this! Yous fixed what wasn't broken!

Update: I am really tired of the ads. Any time I open this app, there is an ad on the front page. Some are ridiculous or immoral. I paid to get the audio, why am I being plagued with ads? Like this Bible app the best of any I've tried. Like the read aloud feature and that I can adjust the speed. I don't give it five stars because I think the settings menu could be better. Still a nice format though!

I enjoyed the original app, then out of nowhere, an update changed EVERYTHING. Adds, confusion, and my notes disappeared from years of having the original one. I had to Uninstall it because it started connecting to my vehicle and reading on its own while I was driving. If it's fixed in the future I may look again. But it's not for me anymore, and that's sad.

This is the best King James Bible app that I have used!!!! It is amazing!!! I have downloaded several over the last year or so. Each had either technical issues and or deficiencies or they were overloaded with ads, some of which were inappropriate. This app has the best of everything. You can remove the minimal ads for only $1.99- not a subscription. It is very easy to navigate to different passages, it has very helpful cross-reference links, and definitions. You can select the font type and size

I loved this app until its last update. 3 suggestions... 1. Bring back the back button feature, or implement a way to toggle back and forth between two books or passages more efficiently. 2. The app used to show a preview of the passages you highlighted, which made it much easier to find passages you're searching for. Bring that back! 3. Allow us to label or name the different color highlights. Those three things would make Tecarta the best bible app PERIOD.
