I recommend using any latest phone put out because it heats up the CPU and eats up battery life but otherwise I love the game. Each game has something unique added to it and you can even compete in the winter game and attempt to win a cup and there's clubs that you can join if you would like pretty much something that many hockey games on any app store don't have. The only thing that would get me to play this game anywhere all the time is an online mode and a quickplay offline mode.

Game play was fun but as you get more developed game play becomes extremely one sided. For example, Well developed players can no longer put a shot on net on a breakaway or one on one opportunities. Key players no longer connect on a pass and, instead of hitting the star player on a breakaway, the result is an icing. Despite repeated attempts to check or poke, even risking penalty, the opponent's player fights through multiple players and gets a shot ON goal that beats your upgraded goalie.

Reviews are weird. Probably easiest game that doesn't really progress that I've ever played. I won about 25 games and lost once because I got distracted. Average 5 goals a game. Was scored on maybe once every 4 games. Takes forever to play after 3 matches. Spent 3 days on this game. Too easy. Repetitive. No progression. Ratings don't matter.

Opponents have super human abilities, control buttons don't work, the very instant you cross the blue line you are stripped, body checks don't work, passing works 1 out of every 5 tries, when you transition into the opponent's zone you are by yourself with no wingers, pass button makes a deke move, no one stays in the zone to grind so you are again by yourself, amongst many other playability issues. Awful awful awful. Needs drastic improvement.

Edit: Much better than previous version. Game play and graphics are vastly improved. I'm not a huge fan of the energy system and there needs to be a trade system to be able to trade unusable plans and strategy cards; why do I need plans if builds are all at maximum? Same with strategy cards. Would be nice to be able to trade for cash or pucks. Longer seasons would be nice, also. And why do the stupid players do spin moves on break aways? Overall, fun game that is well worth what I paid for it.

Great game, until it isn't. The difficulty cliff is MASSIVE and unexpected. It goes from scoring 4 to 5 points a game, shutouts, no shots against, easy, to losing 5 to 1 and fighting your way through every game, very quickly. Enjoyability hit a brick wall. I upgraded my facilities and players, no good. Practice would be nice too. First time you have to do a shootout, you're going to lose. Also, fix the stupidity of the AI sometimes. Lose puck in the O zone, 3 skaters racing, they just STOP!

I have debated writing this for a few days now but this game play has to be the worst of all of this series. Hardly no calls for penalties. When you try and switch players it will not switch. When you don't want it to switch it switches. When you press the pass button and it doesn't do it same with shooting. Just the absolute worst game in their series. I had to delete the game it was so bad.!!!!

It's a good hockey game just some things are off. Not the biggest fan of using energy for every game, limits how much a new player can actually enjoy the game. It also can be pay to win if you want it to be. Some of the rules of hockey are a bit off as well, such as icing during powerplay and some offsides stuff. Goalie ai is pretty middling at best, although as soon as the puck gets on the ice near a goalie it just teleports into the glove. Plus almost no defensive control gives easy goals.

This is a fabulous game! Normally, I don't play sports games where I have to control the players. I like to coach and manage. However, the controls are so easy that I can actually play the game pretty well! Visually, the game is absolutely stunning! I especially loved the outdoor venue! I love the goal celebrations and the replays. The only thing I would like to have changed is that I would like to see a post-game box score.

This game is decent. Love that they added stuff like team logos, mascots, and fighting in the game. I will, however, say that this game is a little laggy for some devices, including mine. Sometimes, it can take many seconds to load certain menus. It would be nice if there was an option to change the quality of the graphics.

Great game. Had a problem with account reset for no apparent reason. Contacted support and they were able to give me credit for the deleted account. Really disappointed with the lost progress but great response from the support team!

This is by far one of the best hockey games for mobile. Graphics are beautiful and an ok amount of customization, but the main complaint that I have is passing, to aim the passes at your player to need to use the joystick but if you don't aim the joystick at the perfect angle the puck would shoot out into a random direction, instead the puck should immediately got to one of your players even if you don't aim correctly at a specific player. Also the bot goalies are WAY too overpowered

Ok so it's fun however it's ridiculously easy I'm averaging 2 to 3 goals within the first period alone and it's only happened ONCE that the other team got the lead (which I took back easily). There's games where I win 7-0 or 7-1. Not sure if I'll be playing for long considering I'm undefeated every single season and it never seems to get any more challenging. And the other issue is the energy system which only allows you to play 3 consecutive games before it needs to recharge.

Awesome game, and a great successor to the original. the better team customization is awesome. you even get a mascot. other than that the game is the same with only two noticeable changes (that I've noticed thus far) one being deking, which is good, but the other one... it makes you use energy even for season games, which limits the playability. please go back to season games not using energy. but overall it's a truly legendary game, thank you distinctive games

Overall, I enjoy this game for what it is. Ads are optional (no forced ads!) That's a HUGE +++. Controls can be a bit unresponsive or nonexistent altogether. The AI teammates often lack any general knowledge of how to play hockey. Team goaltender is horrendous. My goalie is a 116 overall and probably makes 1 save every 3-4 shots against. Defense will drop back behind blue line if you don't take control of one. One thing I'd love to see would be a chat/message function in the Club feature.

I think this is the BEST mobile hockey game by far. I love the customization, the gameplay is smooth and building your team is satisfying. However, I do think the defense could use a bit of improvements, especially the goalkeeper, as from my experience, the goalie cannot seem to stop any opponent shots regardless of overall. A feature I would like to see is a "quick play" where you can play with all teams in the game, like the NA east and west teams, as well as changing the game length and more!

Best mobile hockey game available, the updated graphics and team customization is a big improvement over the original. crowd sound effects resemble heavy wind, and it would be nice to be able to control the volume of effects and music in the app rather than having to turn phone volume down. Other than that , this is an incredibly fun, entertaining, and enjoyable game on the go.
