I got logged out of the app. Now, I can't log in to the app, even though I can log into the website. The digital key is glitchy and inconsistent... which I can't even use now. Also, the digital key only works for one reservation at a time. If you have 2 rooms, it doesn't work. Addition to the digital key issues. I switched hotels, and my digital key for the old hotel and room keeps being displayed. I requested the new digital key several times and reinstalled the app. Still INOP.

This new update has messed something up. I've used this app on my phone for months. Now all of a sudden it doesn't recognize my log in credentials. I can log in on my desktop and my iPad with no problem. But since the recent update, it won't allow me on my android Note 22 Ultra. It's unfortunate that it's happening at a time when they have a promotion going to give you more points for using your digital key. Maybe it's intentional.

I used to really like this app, but for the past few weeks I cannot log in to the app. It just keeps saying oops we have a problem on our end. Nothing fixes this, reinstall app, close out reload, I have tried everything. When you chat with customer support they just say, we are working on this. Please fix I can't use digital check in, or check up on my stay. I am very frustrated and about to just switch back to a competitor.

This app has fantastic benefits and features. The point system is great as well as what comes with the tiers. You can navigate the hotel using the built in map. Find local entertainment, dining options, and other recommendations. The only glitch I've found in the app was with the keyless access. When your room is adjacent to the gym, pool, laundry, etc, it may not recognize your position and you won't have access to your room or other said areas. Still a good feature to have though.

Easy to use, lots of options, can apply for points easily and pay with points and cash. Very nice! Lately the digital key has not been working most of my stays in the last 12 months which has been very frustrating. It was a really nice feature while it lasted.

The developers who worked on this app are terrible. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why my payment card wasn't working. It was because Google Pay auto filled my credit card number with spaces and the payment system couldn't recognize the number. The system also can't recognize the card as amex, visa, or MasterCard, which is a simple feature. And instead of giving me feedback that the card number should not have spaces, it took a minute to return a basic error message.

Digital key works well to get in the room. I went to the pool & it did Not let me back in the building. I had to walk around the parking lot to get back in. That was an inconvenience. The system does Not let the staff know we've checked in & the front desk lady chased me outside to make sure I was a real guest. That was awkward. Had to check out in person because app wasn't working.

Lots of issues with needing multiple attempts to reset passwords. Unable to see offers in app(must leave app and sign in again to website, which may or may not accept your login), unable to see property address to ensure your selecting the location you were looking for. All this makes it take waaay too long and way too many clicks to do a simple booking. Note: I spend less when you make my life more difficult than it needs to be.

Went from being a five-star to a one star app overnight. Logged me out in the middle of a stay, can't log back in at all. "Oops, something went wrong on our end!" Yeah, no kidding. Had to go back and get an actual key mid-stay. Tried uninstall/reinstall, clearing cache and cookies, password reset, etc. Called for assistance, they transferred me to Hilton Grand Vacations acations, where they tried to sell me a timeshare! Not good Hilton. Not good at all.

Updated 4/24: the app works much better now. I'd love to see the message system improved. Update 3/24/23: still not working. Update 2/19/2023: dropped another star because the digital key still doesn't work. The digital key is terrible and worse if you have multiple bookings. Fix it. Maybe use the NFC reader that can simulate an RFID room key instead of bluetooth.

App with a lot of good options. I frequently use this app to make reservations and check in to my hotel room. So far the check in process has worked really well. The reservation process is not as good. I recently tried to book a room but I kept getting a message that my card was denied. It was actually the app that was the issue not my card. I also had a check out fail once without any notifications. Better error notification would be helpful.

Works okay. Browsing hotels using the map is annoying, because every time you view a hotel, when you go back to the map it resets your zoom and you have to make it go back to the view you had. Biggest complaint though? It keeps asking for notification permission, which I do not want to give it. But it won't take no for an answer. Every time you load the app, you have to tell it no to notifications permission. Every. Time.

App works very well. Easy to use and contains a lot of information. Has had multiple improvements since previous review. It would be nice when looking at floor layout/choosing a room to be able to have more detail of the surroundings (external to the hotel). I believe I've seen at times but not all properties. Overall a very good app.

I absolutely love this app, which puts my mind at ease knowing most of these hotels are better than the other options out there. The only thing I hate is how hard it is to get to a diamond membership... maybe 25+ stays would be better suited, not over 60+ stays to achieve... I do travel a lot, so I know I'll get there sooner than later, and at this point, it's a competition to me without buying all the unnecessary credit cards to get "extra benefits." Soon, hilton honors.. Soon lol!

If you are getting a "Oops! Something went wrong on our end..." bs, check the permissions for the app. The Level 1 tech support didn't catch this issue and the Level 2 guy almost missed it, but then he thought of it right at the end. I had the ABSOLUTE WORSE IT experience ever. Both Level 1 and 2 were just blanketly tone deaf to the issue. They were hell bent on sticking to their damn script. The level 1 people even at one point said, "well it works for us." *twitch* That's nice.....*twitch*.

I downloaded this app. Per the email, I digitally checked in and went directly to my room since I had a digital key. Turns out I did not. The app said the key would be delivered soon. I had to go to the front desk to get physical keys, since apparently even though I checked in with the app, I was not checked in. If the use of an app and its features are encouraged, make very sure it works. I checked out in person and promptly deleted the app. This was a bad look for Hilton/Hampton Inn.

Can't sign in, been using the app for about 3 years. Message says "oops something went wrong on our end, please try again". Been going on for a few days now. Otherwise the app is great. Will update the review when the issue is fixed. I'm not the only one having this issue. Update: Worked for a couple of times, then back to the same issue. Hilton, you need to fix this. Had to go back to desk for a physical card key due to couldn't sign in after using the digital key the same day.

The app is fine, however they "Oops..." error message has been consistent since the app was installed. The problem exists on my Pixel 7a. The problem doesn't exist on a 6a or Samsung A9+ tablet using the same credentials. Occasionally I can log in on my 7a, however it will time out within 30 minutes. That doesn't happen on my other devices. I hope this info gets passed on to the dev team.

I really appreciate using the Hilton app which enables me to see all related Hilton hotels without having to filter out unlike open web overwhelming. In the Hilton app, I can see my points, benefits and reservations all in one place. I love how there is a map in the search feature and with beautiful pictures! I always want to see a location and its rooms before booking. Once a reservation is made, the hotel numbers are also provided which makes it conveniet!! Im pleased & happy to be a member.

Recently, the digital key option and check-in continuously fail when it comes to checking in from this app. It can't find my reservation. The digital key is stalled. I'm told it's updating. I'm disappointed because I really find these options useful; especially when picking my room. Customer service keeps giving excuses (in my opinion). Hilton can do better.
