Edit: Ads seem to have been removed with the latest update. I like the game itself, but the ads are extremely intrusive and frequent, which detracts significantly from any anxiety relief the app provides. So I paid to remove the ads - but still get just as many! I read a comment from the developer weeks ago that they were aware of the issue and rolling out a fix, but that still hasn't happened.

Hex is similar to the original Infinity Loop game, but uses a hexagonal grid instead of a square grid. Hex is quite a nice game, but it lacks three major features of Infinity Loop: achievements, daily challenges, and alternate game modes. Hex feels unfinished to me. It would make a great alternate game mode in Infinity Loop franchise games, but on its own, Hex is not compelling enough for me. I uninstalled Hex so I can focus on Infinity Loop, which I find more challenging and satisfying to play.

I've been playing this game for years and years. Its exactly my style. It truly is a good way to relax and unwind. I paid the small fee for the ad-free experience. The colors are calming and the style is simple where most games give me sensory overload. I like the option to play with sound but without music. There is no stress of using too many moves to complete the puzzle or running out of lives The only fault is not being able to recover your levels when you get a new device

Excellent as are all of the games by these developers. This is one of those that can actually help soothe your mind, destress, or focus even if you only play it for a little bit. You make loops and circles from pieces that rotate on a hexagonal base. The patterns vary from simple looking to intricate jewelry worthy. There is a camera feature for saving or sharing your favorites. Easy to understand and never gets old.

After playing the 1st 10 levels, although a bit challenging it is relaxing and easy to do, just wish there was a tutorial to start off so you have a general idea of what to do instead of trying to figure it out on your own, granted some like figuring things out by themselves but not everybody does, still it is a great game as long as you have ads removed which I do.

I was having a melt down at work. I found app by accident and downloaded on smart phone. Honestly, the music and puzzle calmed me. BUT the puzzles advanced from simple and calming to difficult and frustrating. It didn't have a reset so I'm stuck on difficult and frustrating. I don't care about leaderboards. I just want distraction so i can can chill out.

LOTS and lots of ads, which isn't the most anxiety-relieving thing in the world. Either this or another game called Energy of the same theme and by the same developer had a bug where the game would freeze every time I finished a level (making me close and reopen the game to keep playing) on my old phone, a Note 8. If that's not fixed, it might be a good improvement. Isn't affecting my review though, 3 stars for the constant ads.

This game is beautiful if you love puzzles.. a little anxiety for me cause I try to complete the puzzles fast so I'm like oh man hurry hurry hurry lol. But in all honesty. The puzzles are fun and relaxing when you dont rush, and the music in perfect. I saw someone else say this and I agree with them dont change the music at all. Listening to it and the puzzles are therapeutic in a way and it brought tears to my eyes almost listening to the music. It's very relaxing. I'd highly reccomend this.

So far I enjoy playing this game. It is easy and relaxing. Sometimes I feel frustrated I can't get it, but the solution hints are easy and non-stressful. This game takes care of my intrusive and wandering thoughts. 10 minutes a day(because I like playing soo much) has helped give me more patience and helped problem solving skills. The sounds can be turned off, but my neurodivergent brain gets a kick out of the sounds. Great game. Negatives: if you touch too quickly rapidly, it will lag a little

It's a fun game! The shapes are really nice when finished, and there are hints if you get stuck. The only thing that I found frustrating was how sensitive the game is to being touched. Touching one shape can send the others going rogue, which can ruin the whole figure. Only tiny baby fingers could avoid it. It's not a deal breaker for me though. I'm going to keep playing.

Well, it was great, and I made a small purchase to get rid of ads. Then they went back on that and put ads back in, and then they added a super annoying hint thing that constantly tries to catch your attention. Went from a nice relaxing fidget game to actively annoying. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because the gameplay is still very satisfying.

Great concep to start. I had a blast in the early levels, but it is nothing but repetitive circles over and over again. No other designs or shapes, so the nostalgia wears off quick. Plus the ads in-between every level gets old pretty quick, though I do understand they have to make their money somehow, so I'lllet that slide. Iterate on the concept.

The music is really beautiful and relaxing, and the finished levels are really satisfying to look at. Movement is smooth and easy, pieces flow nicely, and the puzzles offer a challenge without making it stressful or frustrating. This was very well done. I use it as my night time unwind and am finding it easier to fall asleep. Definitely worth it!

This is a unique concept with unpredictable patterns formed by each puzzle. This game might seem appealing at first glance, but the puzzles were simply too easy. I solved many puzzles in ten to thirty seconds, and few took more than a minute. A game with a lot of easy to conquer content that has no demand for gameplay is, simply put, low quality. It was quite clear that you developers neglected to think beyond the final product just being a matching image to the view of your mind's eye; it should also have a tangeable reason to be played, especially if it is that large, in order to appeal to the majority of today's audience. I don't want you to take this hard. I have tried to code as well and it is difficult, but if you want to make successful games, or anything for that matter, you must know your audience and what they desire, and provide regardless of whatever your thoughts are on the decay of meaning in today's culture and entertainment.

EDIT: I don't mind paying for good apps, but please kill the VERY ANTI-ZEN AND INSULTING ADS now between levels. Please don't ruin the point of the game this way! Minus two stars for that level of harassing intrusiveness. ...Otherwise, beautiful visual and auditory design. Very relaxing as well as a good distraction for the anxious mind. I use it quite regularly. If pattern soothes you, give this one a try... but AFTER THE ADS ARE FIXED. Seriously: they're beyond rude.

It's alright. It helped me focus on getting to sleep last night and it's keeping me occupied when waking up tooooo early and need to go back to sleep... However, the hint lightbulb is insistent, and eye catching, but doesn't ask your permission to show an ad when you click it, and if you didn't want to see the ad, you can't skip it and have to watch that same tired old disappointed decoration lady try her hand at Wordscapes... And the hint is not a hint. It's the whole solution outlined.

I've enjoyed this game in the past and while I understand the need for ads, the ones added are very intrusive. Because I do find it relaxing, I paid to remove the ads the other day. Tonight, however, I started getting them again! Even though the "Remove Ads" icon is still greyed out, showing I purchased! Please fix this, otherwise what was the point of paying if it doesn't work as it should?

I just downloaded this game a couple of days ago but really like it so far. Most ads are short and don't play too often. Some puzzles are more difficult than others but sometimes I just like to push the shapes to see them circle around and don't really care how soon I finish the puzzle, so the harder ones aren't as frustrating. Also, after I solve the harder ones, the next few are pretty easy to solve. I like that. Gives the brain a break.

Great background game. Not so challenging it's frustrating, not so easy it's boring. Took a while to get used to because the solutions aren't typical for games like this, but I like that. It ends up feeling like less pressure because there's no expectation of shape/symmetry. I like the minimalist style, puzzles are quick to do without a focus on levels, and there are no ads (I think I paid a small one-time fee to get rid of ads forever, but I don't remember). Very soothing and satisfying.

I was looking for something to help me with anxiety as I start my first semester at a big university. This game sounded relaxing from all the reviews. What I didn't expect was the background music to play a major role in shifting my mood. I have no idea what genre this music is considered, but I need more of it in my life. All of my muscles started unclenching before the third puzzle was solved, which takes no time really. Exceptionally pleased with this game so far!
