I can only watch so many forty seconds videos every level before I don't want to play anymore and I have reached the limit now. You will watch about 6 minutes of ads every level just to make it through the level. They cleverly don't give you the upgrades you need after every level up so it forces you to watch a video so you are not forced to have an upgrade for a weapon you do not even possess.

"The ads are not required" yet the infinite scaling nature of the game encourages maximum results. Clearly double the rewards will always be better, so by playing the game without ads and having an energy requirement to play, you reduce your progress without spending money. 29$ ad unlock, 29$ per character unlock, 15$ battlepass with a 75$ option for more rewards. 4.8+/5.0 there is no hope for humanity.

Great game, been enjoying it. Definitely will take awhile to get the resources you need to upgrade. The biggest downside to me is the pay wall. There are holiday events to get new characters. Hard to get without paying. But now you have to play hours upon hours just to get tokens to spin the wheel. New character is on the wheel but impossible to hit. And the only other way is spin 250x which is non existence unless you pay a hundreds of dollars. Why have events when they make it impossible.

Update: Anyone have a similar but more respectable bullet hell mobile game? The ads and prices here are egregious. You need to watch 60 second ads several times during a fight just for basic game functionality and progression. And it's $22 to get rid of ads. Anything more than $5 is a joke, especially considering how intrusive they are. Remember, developers: Just because a game is technically free-to-play, doesn't mean it's an enjoyable experience. At best it's misguided, at worst deceitful.

Pay to win at it's finest! $20+ to remove ads, $100+ for "bonus" packs. You coould spend thousands on this game, and would NEED to spend hundreds to be remotely competitive. Sure there's no "barriers" to play for free, but progress is painfully slow and limited time items like seasonal characters are priced so high, that they are only achievable by paying.

There are too many ads, and they're too long. 30 seconds turns into a minute, and even longer, and after it finally winds down, a 2 minute round takes 5 to 10 minutes. The ads take over your speakers and play so loud, and if you touch your screen in any way, it auto downloads whatever ad was playing. To annoying to play and even pay for!

The game used to be fun. Until they released the star system . Which forced us to spend a ton of money to get our character back to the same level as before the star system. They haven't released anything fun at all. Faction wars are garbage and ridiculously difficult. There hasnt been a good character in adventure for months. It's stupidly difficult to upgrade armor. I have 65% silver and 25% gold in my jewel setuo ,and I almost never get any keys. Drawings for chars are expensive!!!.

Just play Vampire Survivors. This game is just that game, somehow both simplified (tells you what items evolve which, shorter levels) and complicated (interrupts you more often, uses energy to play levels). I played 2 levels before quitting, but it took me about 20 seconds to realize this game was just ripping off Vampire Survivors.

The game is a "casual" game. As good as they come. But the problem is there's just too many options and stuff to work on/with. Too many rewards option, too many currency, too many items to identify, too many customisation, too many stats for a casual game like this. Take a look at '20 minutes till dawn' , they don't have this many options. Come on, It's a casual game man, you ain't making 'Call of duty: Modern warfare', so chill out, would ya? Jeez!!

This is one of the most maliciously monetized games I have ever played. The price point on everything is absolutely absurd, and most new characters etc. are more or less locked behind a paywall. The game is so heavily monetized that not only does the hero portal not unlock heroes, but it consistently just gives you upgrade tokens for heroes you don't have. Events don't disclose rising prices, tricking you into wasting gems. Everything else is just an endless ad farm.

The gameplay and aesthetic are great. However, the game is such a money grab and is so ad heavy that I uninstalled it. Option to pay $22 to remove ads forever. Just sell the game for a few bucks at that point; I would buy it. Massive push to buy in-game resources for ridiculous amounts of money. Again, the game itself is good but it's so inundated with ads for those who aren't will to fork over $22 for a mobile game, that it's no longer enjoyable. The ads themselves take multiple screens to exit

I was enjoying this game bit, however some of the new ads in their ad stream is inescapable and doesn't provide the associated rewards. The costs are absurd for the in game purchases. The upgrade system intentionally gives bad options to force players to watch ads for a better selection. It's just gotten to be too much with the endless pressure for in app purchases and ads, for a game like this, I'd rather pay a one time purchase at about 5-10 dollars, tops. Gonna have to uninstall it though.

This game was ok for awhile, but as you climb up the ranks, to get better it becomes a money grab. You can't seem to collect enough items to power up or upgrade your character . Not only that, but during the waves when It takes three or four shots to kill an opponent, you upgrade and get a 50% more damage power up and it takes 5-6 shots to kill the same opponent. 🤦♂️ After being stuck on the same level for 2 days and refusing to spend money 2 upgrade to pass it I uninstalled it. Don't bother.

I was surprised to see the advertisement for this game was actually the same. Its a lot of fun, great passing the time. The game is smooth running, very responsive, and really nice upgrades. Speaking of upgrading, the character isnt as difficult to upgrade as most games. On a different note recent upgrades causing app crashes. Can't play at all and I have a lot invested into this game! Kinda disappointed and deleted it off my main device

The game is fun. It's a fairly cookie cutter version of the other 700 Vampire Survivors ripoff. It's constantly adding new content, like heroes, levels, modes, events, and most recently, weapons. The shop prices are insane. One of the monthly battle passes is $43 PER MONTH and there are half a dozen other purchases monthly they want you to buy. New heroes cost about $20-25 worth of premium currency, which is ultimately the endgame currency. The ad-free is real ad free. So that's nice.

This game is amazing. It's THE BEST phone game I've played to date that is like this, EXCEPT. The game is so full of micro transactions that it shows the true colors of the developers. Allow me to earn my way that isn't so grindy that even after 2 years of playing the game without spending a dime I still haven't acquired a new hero. Yes I'm bad but it still needs to be possible and probable.

It's a decent time waster...but the rewards do not match the enemies you are about to face. For example, I don't need 3 XP times for besting the Boss. Why? Because the next level is a coin rush and I won't gain any more xp. Just stupid. Also, ridiculous that you take a boatload of damage from weak enemies who can somehow survive both the flame wheel and the vampire aura. 2 hits and you die? I may uninstall.

I'd like to rate this game higher, it's actually a decent time waster. But unfortunately the devs have decided to put everything behind an ad watching paywall. Even your daily "free" check-in rewards require you watch an ad. Note to Devs: Requiring customers to watch a video to get an item isn't FREE. Class action lawsuits have begun over less. It's important to note that even if you pay the $22 to remove ads, there's a laundry list of other features that require another overpriced purchase.

Forced ads = automatic 1. There is no excuse for it. I will rate all apps a 1 with forced ads. That said, graphics are good. Game play did get a little repetitive, but I didn't get too far. I also find it really weird it runs on a resource that generates over time like those old Facebook games. If you run out, you have to pay, watch an ad or wait until it generates to do play the game.

Overall, the game is just okay. The gameplay is straightforward and simple. Kill mobs upgrade your skills during the waves after collecting enough EXP. I got bored by level 20, though. There isn't a whole lot of variety in the unlockable skills, in my opinion. Also, the only Hero I unlocked was the standard knight that you get after the tutorial. Seems like the rest are super grinds or paywalled. The ads frequency is manageable. With most long ads being only through player choice.
