Rubbish compared to the first one. Should have stuck with that format and improved it rather than this. Unplayable.

Extremely simplified version of Heroes of Might and Magic which doesn't explain almost any of the mechanics.

A sad comparison to the first...the income system is poor and the rate of gold makes it hard to upgrade troops...very little idea of what you buy until afterwards forcing a lot of restarts

Fun to play. Feel too short though, but for $1 it's justifyable. Wish we could play as Dead knight in its own campaign though.Would pay $1 more for that.

There is only one hero, so I can't get help by collecting dwellers and bringing to the main hero. And what I find irritating is that the same village is inhabited by a different kind of dwellers every week.

Great game with good mechanics. Would be nice to have a detail of all the skills one can chose and an almaniac to explain all units.

love the heroes of might and magic games since i was a boy and love this game too. wish you could have more heroes tho, and build up your castles as well. like the old ones.

Why only one hero? Really good game just like heroes of might and magic but why only one hero? Enemy has unlimited heroes everywhere but u only get one kinda ruins the entirety of the game. Great game I paid money for it and all but why only one hero?

I really like this game a lot but I didn't play the original or the first one and have no clue what I'm doing. Basically winging it and have 0 clue of how to win game. No tutorial, notes, description, story. Nada ðŸ˜. ( Even googled guides and none...)

I love the game!! I was initially frustrated at the difficulty level and quit playing it. Fast forward a year later and i decided to give it another shot. I have beaten the game on easy level twice, and will start the harder modes soon.

Great concept, a tribute to the heroes games of old. But a buggy implementation and extremely limited ways to actually earn money makes it just not what it should have been. That combined with a lack of actual depth of capturable locations and no town management aspects means it's an entertaining but frustrating play.

VERY dumbed down version of the heroes formula, essentially what I'd have my kids play if I wanted to introduce them to that sort of game. Too simplistic and graphics are too barebones. A lot of mechanics aren't very well defined. I love the idea of a mobile heroes game, though.

Great game but extremely unbalanced! Sure game progress would mean much stronger and tougher enemies, but here they overwhelm you to the extent of frustration. Tried different strategies, but damn, I find it no longer worth the time if the there's no way to progress due to game tilted towards AI supperiority.

The update fixed a lot of bugs, still locks up every once in a while during battles. NOTE: a good way to WIN is to dig holes for 8 to 10 weeks as your first activity! Kill the first couple of monsters around the castle, then drop all but the peasants. There is buried treasure, get $5k to $8k and then buy huge armies....it works!! Dont fight the wandering rider, fight ships, castles and monster and come back for the riders when you have more experience and armies! Enjoy, i actually completed it.

Thought the gameplay was really good I enjoyed it. This is the only app I've ever purchased and was not disappointed. I would love to see the depth increase with multiple heroes and castle development. Game is not impossible. Hint if you are struggling, make sure to select necromancy as a special skill and watch your skeletons grow

1 step forward, 2 steps back. It has some interesting changes, not all of which are good. Good: Expanded inventory, start as a mage, spells can be bought in towns, side quests, roaming powerful heroes, fairly challenging, archers nerfed. Bad: Unit fees increased but income isn't, dwellings randomize weekly so you can't easily identify what's in them, long tap inspect is clunky, don't like gfx (subjective), archers nerfed hard. There's more bad but out of space. Its ok, updates could improve.

There is 5 stars of good here but a couple big problems. LOVE how many different units there are. Love the map variety. I like the hero level up system but an xp bar would be nice and a little more variety of upgrades. Spells kind of suck. This has shiteloads of potential. The main problem is, however much I love the income system, the game rewards you for simply castle hopping. Save up gold, buy a huge army, dump your army in a castle at the end of the week, take it out at the start.

I love the game, and the castles and creatures scale well, my problem is the enemy heroes, who are way stronger than anything you could have, I have given up so many games because they destroyed my army over and over. They move faster than you, take back your castles so you can't get ahead on the income, and generally make an enjoyable game much less so.

The game is awesome for 99 cents though, its 5 stars for the price. It has a decent rpg feel and there is a ton of good things about the game so give it a try. The attributes do need explanations though for real. There are too few gear items. The objective is not given either, you have to find and beat the 9 knights to assemble a treasure map so you can dig up an artifact that triggers the final battle.
