More About HERETIC GODS
Heretic Gods is an ARPG in which players can enter a dark world, full of dungeons and monsters, set in the land of the Viking Myths. Your objective will be to enter the depths of a cursed abbey to banish the heretical gods.
The control system of Heretic Gods is intuitive and is very well adapted to tactile devices. With the virtual crossbar on the left of the screen you can move your character, while with the buttons on the right you can attack and use skills. With just pressing the attack buttons, your hero will automatically target the nearest enemy.
The dungeons of Heretic Gods are generated randomly, so you will never play twice in the same scenario. That said, many levels are very similar to each other, with different variations in architecture and especially in the variation of enemies. The more levels you raise, the deeper you dive into new dungeons with stronger enemies to fight.
A very important aspect of Heretic Gods is the loot. You can find and equip hundreds and hundreds of different objects, including axes, helmets, gloves, boots, armor, shields, bows, swords, rings, and so on. In the village, in addition, you can trade with its inhabitants or even craft your own items.
Heretic Gods manages to successfully adapt the formula of popular roleplaying games to tactile devices. For this, it not only offers an accessible control system, but also some levels with a relatively short duration, which we can finish in a few minutes perfectly styled for mobile gaming.

It's pretty good hope my opinion helps the final outcome. The level cap system is kind of dumb wish they'd get rid of it. The selling controls is irritating I sold a bunch of good item by mistake wish there was a press and hold item select. And wish there where quests. Just my thoughts the quest thought can be ignored but the other two I hope they do something about.

One of the most enjoyable in-depth mobile RPGs I've played. The only adds you see are to get free items/soulpoints. The level system is really interesting. The game reminds me of Diablo. Stat allocating and the freedom to use any class make for tons of builds. It has a few kinks and quirks, but so does any game. Would definitely recommend this to you.

Looked like a good game, but after closing the app one day I opened it up to find a loading screen counting down from 10 seconds... and started counting into the negatives. Comments say the only way to fix this his to reinstall the game and lose all your progress. Not good enough for me. Going to wait and download again in a month and see if they fixed this bug.

I dont ever rate games, but I had to make an exception here. Heretic Gods is absolutely worth your time and money(not that you have to even pay) To start this has been, hands down, one of the most fair implementations of a monetization system I've seen in any game. At no point did I feel it necessary to pay in order to gain access to additional levels. The gameplay is similar to a diablo top down ARPG and the controls are phenomenal. An absolute must play for any RPG fan. Well done to the devs.

I love this game! Great on a lot of levels, but oh how the level cap system totally sucks! I watched 10 ads in a row to achieve one level - that I had already earned by fighting! Id have to watch literally 100 ads to get the levels that Im supposed to be at according to dungeon fights. Ill bet this is a common complaint, but the game is great otherwise, Im just not getting anywhere on it anymore.

Pretty solid set up for a hybrid of static runner and run around, it is simply lacking a manual mode for the attack aspect of say a hack and slash. Stats are fairly straightforward, combat simple. Stages are actually well thought out with decent depth in the map system. Easily a 5* game if they ever add the ability to actually create your character and design them.

Great game so far. I've just reached lvl 37 and I'm loving it. I just wish the soul points added up faster as your character lvls up. All in all its a lot of fun. I love grinding hack and slash games/ dungeon crawlers. I can't wait to see what's to come in the future. Hopefully missions for really unique gear or set gear. And maybe give the vendors more rare choices in their stores instead of just the gambler. I love the fact you can combine and create things as well.👍👍👍👍👍

Pros: I like the game, good graphics and controls. Very fun and fast paced with quick loading. Con: After every update all of skill and stat points are reset! Which means that you have to reset EVERYTHING since weapons and gear is dependent on stats. And things go missing from your inventory/vault.

a great start, looks wonderful, runs smoothly, has a lot going for it & with some more work on story, quests, etc. it can be exceptional game. However, it has a terrible failing that makes it unplayable for me; auto-targeting/attack mechanic is just unacceptable. it's not that it is broken or flawed - it works fine. it's that it does it at all that drives me bug. i want total, instant, absolute & accurate control of actions, especially in a hack'n slash setting. able to dart in, hit & dodge out.

So i know this is a new game but i would give it 5 star but cant for two reasons....1 at the end of each level you can watch a video for points for level cap and another video for a treasure box (i have no problem with this) but i was on like tier level 12 with both of them left the game came back and they were both back to the beginning when before I left and came back it was still were i left off WHY!!?? 2 i ran through all the levels and beat the final stage and got to arena but didnt play. The tutorial showed me I could play purgatory if i wanted to but its ok if you leave you can come back so i was like ok and left and now guess what i cant get back to the arena without playing ALL the levels again...TELL me why i cant get back when it says i can.

I was enjoying the game until I got to the Atrium level 2,after you beat this level when you go to the next level it starts the same level number 2 you just beat.I did this 5 times.Also the controls have a mind of there own it drifts left of right you have to bring yourself back to where you just were. Other than these issues it's a really good game. Fix this so I can finish the game or when you beat this part thats the end of the game.

Saves back. Means back to having some fun. Thank you! But...the attack build up bar is a terrible thing. It makes no sense at all and is not needed. Ppl like fast paced combat not have a 10 min fight with normal enemies. The dex only increases attack rating not bow damage. That's very stupid. I don't care about attack rating I care about damage. Everything is just super slow paced. Makes for a very boring time. Speed things up dude.

I love this but it's going to sound like a bad review...Mechanics and aesthetics are perfect. This game has a lot of potential, but it's very shallow still. Literally no story yet (as of lv 3) honestly overpowered so far. Way too much gold and loot dropping. Each level is basically a tunnel full of enemies, but looks like Diablo city streets. Just tap the attack button over and over, you auto attack each enemy and clear huge swaths of dungeon without even having to look. Nothing to do.

Great start. Suggestions: Fix monster animations, some glide then walk like they're supposed to. Fix numbers. No one needs 5k gold acting like 5 gold. Tree shows way more damage than you're actually doing, makes it unrealistic. More levels please before switching difficulties. Can't wait to see the game in its entirety. Good job team. Would love to support more. I like that it's not pay to win. But more paid support options would be good for you all as to continue funding.

Similar concept to Diablo 2, to the point of ripping it off. I like the idea of runewords but most of them aren't worth it compared to sets and uniques. The crafting is confusing, even after watching some Youtube videos. VIP is too expensive because you still need to pay for extra stash pages. Some monsters and auras are OP and need some balance. Overall it's fun. I like the skill tree and the variety of builds. I actually prefer the gameplay to Anima. A cool story would make this game great.

Interesting game, but definitely bare bones. The gameplay is really good, there are just a couple of bugs. The attacks are overpowered for the enemies on each level, so the game is a little too easy and repetitive. The attack animations are a bit off. When picking up loot there should be an indicator for just basic loot, and not all of it disappears when you pick it up. There should be more of a story and missions to incentivize playing, oryou could just turn on auto and have it beat the game.

[1/21/21 still waiting for Female Hero! Please raise the level cap for VIP, like 1000!! Bought the inventory slots too. Still love this game! 😎[EDIT] 8/4/18]Still waiting for the addition of a Female Hero for 5 stars! [/EDIT] Paid for VIP. Having a blast so far. It's very easy to pick up loot at the end of the level instead of clicking on it to pick it up as you go. I'm glad to see the ability to use the same character on all difficulties. Quick load times between levels is a huge plus.

Love the game, bought the VIP access and leveled my character into the purgatory difficulty. I wanted to explore another character so I started a new profile it played initially but now everytime I try to open the game it's just stuck on the "loading player data" screen. I've tried uninstall/reinstall, clearing the game cache but nothing is working. This was my favorite game to play so PLEASE Fix!!! would rate 5 stars if I could play the game.

A broken, bug-riddled mess. This game plays Ok at best until you reach end game, unless your progress gets randomly wiped by a bug. Numerous people have lost their progress like this, but they just tell you to manually back up your files so it doesn't happen again. Who does that? The controls can be difficult to work with and the animations need work. VIP is basically a cash grab because you need stash space because the developer adopted that problem from Diablo 2 instead of fixing it. There's a list of well-known bugs and half of them break the game.

Not necessarily bad, but definitely needs major improvement. Controls are finicky and imprecise, the combat system and enemies are pretty uninteresting and uninspired, and the areas are just... meh. The skill trees look decent, but the requirements are a little demanding. The shops were hard to navigate too. Under all that i do think theres a pretty good game tho, so devs, keep at it, but know that theres lots of issues you should solve.
