App is pretty good. Tho there are other apps out there that are similar that have a few more of the premium things free. Like to filter the type of person you're looking for. I just wish there were maybe 2 other free features you could get. I do like the concept of the communities, I also wish you could filter that by area, that would be cool so you can find more friends that way. Overall I do like the app for the short amount of time I've been using it.

Almost everything is behind a paywall. It doesn't let you see likes without paying or, for free, cycling through profiles until you run out of swipes and have to wait upwards of 24 hrs, in addition to the swipes in the meet section. HOWEVER!, it's still better than the others. I think it's worth it, but I still find the pricing expensive as someone who's struggling economically. If this is not your case, pay for it. Still, using it for free isn't too bad if you're not rushed!!

This app is really good for finding fellow LGBTQ+ friends and partners, but that's where my praise ends. The A.I. matching system is great and being able to verify real people is a really good feature. Besides that, the app is terrible to use. Weird menus, awful layouts, people just disappearing from your requests and matched lists, not sending messages/ sending multiple of the same messages. You're better off matching with people and then taking the messaging straight to another platform.

Lots of bots and people looking for something casual, but it has potential and I'm curious what the premium experience is like. It also crashes often, doesn't load like it should every time, and if I open the app from a notification, I can only see the screen relevant to the notification. Otherwise, I have to close the app and re-launch it from the icon, or it crashes when I try to navigate away from the relevant page.

Messages do not function properly. Cannot open conversations, nothing loads correctly. Just a constant "loading circle" but the messages are never visible. Also too many notifications without an option to change the settings. There should be an option to get notifications from just messages only instead messages AND likes. I'm only interested in people who have been trying to write to me. Big disappointment. I also lost access to my past matches. I only see my last 10 and then it loops. It's really ridiculous.

Decent platform and workability thus the two stars, but this app is loaded with fake accounts, scammers, and bots. I've barely gotten any interaction that hasn't been a fake account with the free features. The price to unlock the features that would make it easier to navigate is outrageous for an app with so many issues to still fix. Offering a shorter time subscription that's much cheaper just to see if it is worth the cost would be better than what's offered currently, in my opinion.

It's okay. On the one hand, lots of cool people on a decently well designed platform, profile customization is simple and ticks all the boxes you'd need, and the social media features are interesting, if not all that well moderated. On the other, it is CONSTANTLY trying to drain your wallet. Loads of features that you would expect to use on an app like this are locked behind a hefty subscription fee specifically to try to wring money out of you in any way possible.

I've been using HER on and off for the better part of four years now. Overall, it seems to be the most authentic WLW experience (meaning, the least obvious cis-het men and scam profiles). There always seems to be *some* problem though, every time I download the app again, whether it's disappearing messages or glitchy friend requests. The filtering doesn't work in the least, even after all this time, constantly showing those outside of it the age range even when there are others avaliable.

I got the gold membership but didn't realize that I still wouldn't be able to see my likes. Then I saw that they had a thirst mode option which (I thought) gives you 60 minutes to go over your likes and match or not (it doesn't). I got the TM refunded immediately but I can't figure out how to REPLACE the charge for gold with the charge for premium. I don't want to pay for both at once, that makes no sense. Customer support is really important to me and there is no easy option for that.

SO MAD that they took the feature of seeing your likes off the Gold Subscription. $15 A MONTH & I can't even see who likes me!? TRASH. Last time I had this app I was able to see who liked me for $14.99 a month. that was worth it. This is not. Just for an add free experience!? NO. I'm hoping I can get my refund, I paid for the Gold Subscription thinking I could get these features still. Not to mention, it didn't even give me the gold features and yet the money was taken out of my bank account!!!!

Can't get past uploading the 3 photos screen. Backed out of the app, updated it and also uninstalled and reinstalled. Either it won't add a photo at all (black screen on the resize page) or after it does add a photo it erases it in the resize screen when confirmed. Secondly, why can you sign in with Google+ on Android but then you can't sign back in with Google+ on an iphone if you need to transition from one to the other- and dont want to use major social media accts?

heya, it's a wonderful app, but it sure has some flaws. I can't see or scroll down to all the conversations I have in my inbox. I wanted to clear out some old matches but even after updating the app it only shows me what fits on the screen. another issue is when I try to verify my account. after I snap a photo with my camera, the app doesn't give me an "accept" or "submit" button. I can only back out of the camera screen.

Having unskippable ads randomly in your app is going to make it feel low quality, and amongst other issues like the UI/UX being laggy/poorly designed and not having a pause/hide account feature, this app comes up really short. If you have ads, give us more features. Don't try and double dip by having premium features while also creating bad user experiences for those who don't pay. That's a terrible business decision. Update: This app installed malware casino apps on my phone, do not get this.

So, this is the second time I've tried using this app and the same thing happened, my account was put on hold after all I did was click 'continue' from the gallery. I contacted customer support but it's still absolutely ridiculous that I've been kicked out AGAIN for NO REASON. Y'all need to fix this issue. All my photos were perfectly appropriate by the way, there was nothing wrong with them so I don't know why I've been put on hold yet again

All the people I've interacted with have been a scam, I am not finding women on here. The App works, then it doesn't. I paid for a year of premium. The App is easy to use and set up, I like the look and idea behind it. Good for just a keep of getting over the nerves of trying a dating App for the first time. Maybe it'll change a few months from now and be a better experience, but I'm super disappointed.

It's a great idea. I'm glad it exists. I only wish I could use it. Years later return/update: They've pay walled almost everything, removed the Facebook authentication, and scrolling pics is broken. It's also overwhelmed by fake accounts run by scammers, and they seem unable to do better about that. 2/24 update: They still haven't fixed the fake account issue. As of today, they now have a popup saying "you're almost out of swipes", and tries to sell premium. After /every single swipe/.

The transphobia on the app is insane, and the support team is terrible at actually helping. I have been banned on five different occasions for no discernable reason. Twice within three hours of each other, and haven't been able to access my account since. Thankfully I was able to cancel my Premium before the renewal period ran up. So keep in mind, the app states it's trans friendly, but don't actually expect it to be. It's funny, I've literally had more problems on HER than any other app.

It would be a great app. The deal killer is that it randomly swipes left or right without me wanting it to. I've never experienced that in competitive apps. Its horrible and needs to be addressed. The women have all been nice. You can actually chat with matches without a paid account. The huge issue is that a good percentage of matches did not intend to match with me and a good percentage of the swipes where the app just randomly matches are not people I like. So it's awful and uncomfortable.

Overall, this app is really good. You can customize the hell outta your profile and be incredibly specific with what you're looking for. I also like the layout- it's nice on the eyes and has good colors. My main gripe would have to be the overwhelming amount of spam sugar momma accounts. They filled up half of my likes and in turn limited the amount of actual people I could talk to. Other than that though, I met some interesting people and actually found someone nice I've been talking to <3

Awesome app and easy to use. I just wish the swipping for left and right wasn't so sensitive. It's easy to swipe either way unintentionally Edit/update: still a beautiful app. I love how it sticks out from other dating apps and is for women, my only issue is that this app feels more for hookups, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's just not what I'm looking for. Also, it's VERY limited unless you pay.
