So many games going to auto-play and afk grinding that it makes these turn-based games seem hard to play. Don't get me wrong, I know there's strategy involved and sometimes it's difficult to overcome but regardless of all that, games like this take so many resources to enter into battle and buy things and well, do anything that if you want to see the whole game you'll have to pay which would be okay if they weren't so greedy and want you to pay hundreds of dollars for a game worth $10!

This went from one of the best games of it's genres to one of "just the rest". After devs finally started listening it was far too late. The grind was way too much when it was at its peak, and burnt so mamy people out (including myself) and now they implemented a system for quick play, but addressed nothing about what the veterans have done to accumulate over the years and it feels like a giant slap in the face. This was a quick install, uninstall for me.

Great game, I played a bunch of these types and what gives it an edge is they arent stingy with resources. Also you are actually able to get a natural 5 star hero without having to drop $100 or wait months to finally get luck but they arent so common that they lose their rarity. It's a good balance. But one thing that made it a 4 out of 5 star review for me is that it's not completely user friendly. Navigating the map and modes is a bit difficult. Its improved slightly but regardless worth a try

Heir of Light is awesome! I've been playing for almost a year now and I have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Granted, the game can get really grindy but that's to be expected when you get to the higher levels. It's F2P friendly because they do a lot of events and free items. I really like that they thought into the lore for the characters but I wish the storyline was a bit more in depth.

Played since launch. Developers have listened to player feedback, but it's not enough. The game is mindless auto battle. Light/Dark characters are hard to summon, and the rate at getting a 4/5 star from them is even worse. Done spending money. Done playing. Continued playing in promise that it would change. One year event rewards requires downloading another app and using another device to complete. I'll pass. Bye.

This is an incredibly generous game with good rewards. It has great visuals and feel but as I said once before . It lacks feel . It can become boring and there is not much to do other than grind and get stronger. This could have made a great open world game honestly. Also your new summoner wars is pretty brilliant . Such a good game even when I don't play much or grind

I love playing this. Let's get that out of the way because: the game hates you. You need several different teams to take advantage of enemy elements, and leveling and awakening them is EXHAUSTING. The drop rate for items is abysmal, like one stone per 3 tries. I did 100 rounds for magic stones and got 15 of them. You need 15 of 4 different kinds of stones to awaken one character one time. The game board is interesting, but then every fight is the same. And the skill level up system is dumb.

I should have already known this would be a badass game from the makers of Kritika, which Ive enjoyed for years (through several different phones). This game's highlights include: lots of unique characters, no real "energy" or playtime restrictions (so far), great music, pretty good (but sometimes confusing) storyline - which, how could it not be and not be totally linear?? Great graphics, lots to do (without too much at once), auto but ALSO manual play, and great gothic themes. Great job, Devs!

Simply stunning but not perfect. One thing I got to say is the Graphics are Stunning for something on a android phone (note10+). Reminds me of a more stunning Summoner war, except for one thing. The menus are clunky. Uninspired to say the least. Most of them are just text with a little symbol. It kinda overwhelmed me. The tutorial was lacking as well, walls of text are never fun. Even so I can see potential in this game. For a 'Gotcha' Game it's not too bad. Wish there was a 3.5rating

The game is great. I've played for nearly 4 years now, and still enjoy it. If there was one drawback for me, it is the calculation times for events and dungeons and whatnot. Rather than at the end of the day (ie. Midnight), they often close certain spots at 11:30pm. If it could be pushed back to 00:00-00:30 to calculate instead of 23:30-00:00, it would be better. I often try to rush some daily quests because of not getting the ability to play until getting in bed at night.

Game play is fun, looks good, and runs well on my android devices. touch screen is responsive. gatcha, so far, is not that terrible, and the monetization is not intrusive. music is melancholic, characters and world look interesting. Now my only problem is the story. There is none is only the intro, then it stops some characters have plots, but other than that, nothing more chapter 1 followed by checklist of tasks i want to keep playing, but i have no story to keep me.

Fantastic graphics, sub par everything else. The game looks phenomenal, but the gameplay is terrible, the world map is beyond confusing, and the optimization needs a great deal of work. You could find worse hero collectors, but you could easily find a better one. Came back after 2 years to try this again. I'm sorry to say that it's just not a good game.

Played this game for a couple of years. It was fun! But, I slowly saw it go from time2win to pay2win. I used to just let my phone run so I could grind the best 6 star armour. Every now and then they have specialty characters I would purchase for a couple of bucks. Nothing expensive though. But now I can't even fight bosses w/o paying for a "skip" token? I can't even get the option to choose valor like I did before! Welp, guess it's time to move on to another mobile game.

The game is absolutely lovely in terms of graphics and gameplay but in my personal experience, and within an hour of the game, it crashed 6 times already. I was looking forward to the game play, the characters, hours being out into this game but the repeated crashing just draws me away from the game more and more. Please, fix this issue. I even set the settings to the lowest as possible to try and play the game

Stylistically this game is brilliant. The artistry of the characters is really quite something to behold. Under all of the glitz there are a lot of moving parts however, so the learning curve (imo) is a bit high. The PvE map itself seems a bit small, but there are many other PvE oriented areas (gear, boss, tower, awakening) that make up the difference. It's a bit of a grind if you role as f2p, but you'll get there eventually. Ultimately, I would still recommend giving it a chance.

Overall very good game. Some UX/UI elements can definitely use more polish, simplification, and attention to details. For instance, the small font size and overly dark visuals is a strain to my eyes. Small buttons used in game are not very mobile-friendly and are often fat-fingered. New player game guide/tutorial can also be elaborated more instead of "just do this." Other than these, it's a very free-to-play friendly game with enough depth, complexity, and challenge to make it worthwhile.

i keep getting unknown error as well. i thought i was the only one. after update this is crazy. i just got Christine an hr ago thank you. I watched a you tube video and restarted the game and the unknown error popped up. I've been playing the game for a while now. I'm enjoying it but not anymore. i deleted it. now redownloading it. lets see what happens. if i can't play i will give a 1 start rating absolutely.

Having come from a love-hate relationship with Summoner's War, mainly due to it's horrible rng, this game is by far superior. It is incredibly easy to learn if you make an attempt, but maybe not for some. Repeat battles that you can leave running while you do whatever else is fantastic. I also love the sheer number of summon variety. I do have to give it four stars instead of five for one reason that I'd love to see change. Updates seem to take a few hours before I can actually download them.

Personally, I think the game is awesome. Graphics are nice, characters and art is nice, but like so many others, the game play is just to linear. One skill per character, then have to wait for the cooldown for another skill on another character. Hell, just the ability for more than one character to be able to use a skill at the same time would be a huge benefit. Still going to be playing it, hopefully can get my pre-register rewards soon and get a good character or 2, i have had terrible luck in summons

The sound is a hard no. Unless my sound was bugged or my phone speaker is damaged, that constant distorted audio completely diminished from the experience. Sure, dark universe vibes, but I couldn't turn it down or adjust it before getting out of the tutorial. Didn't finish the tutorial, either. Looked alright, otherwise. Free 5* tank at the beginning, but we've played enough gachas to know that unit won't last long. Combat seemed cool as well, but once again, the sound killed the experience.
