The computer for this game seems rigged. I end up taking the queen of spades 80-90 percent of the time, so it's impossible to actually win, even with the skill level as low as it will go(3/5?). After happening 2-3 hands consistently every game, there's little incentive to play in earnest.

Except for the people who quit while game in progress its great. Beating people from all over the world... The actual gameplay is very acurate... But against the computer is too easy... It gets quite good at online around 80 % rating.. Really hard... But there really should be something special for reaching 100

The game is fascinating in that it requires actual thinking as opposed to accounting. As one learns the requirements, it become a pretty good test of mental agility as well as aptitude. Regular hearts players may notice it is slightly different than the traditional game, but if given the time to learn it, offers a very enjoyable time.

App fails to distribute cards in a random fashion. The first hand is always a moon shot. App regularly stacks cards in a fairly regular pattern. The app is better than some but the developers need to work on more random distribution of cards. App developers track use IP to adjust odds of winning. Edit: after this review my device was banned from playing the game.

Really good game, the best I've played on the play store. My only gripe is that one player ALWAYS does well. The AI just picks one, and they are your only real competition. And they can be really good. I tested it out a bit, and they know EXACTLY which cards have been played and will always make the correct decision. And if that player gets the Queen of spades, they WILL shoot the moon.

A lot of 2 devices same player on online play. If the same person with 2 accounts they won't give the queen to the other. Deliverability avoid pushing it their way. Pass moons and help them make it. Also algorithms 🗑. Either get all the low cards or all the high cards every game for games on end. Then it will flip-flop

I love this game, simple interface, smooth graphics in play, lots of online players, very few ads in-between, robust chat moderation and altogether very enjoyable. Thank you Developers

It's decent but easy to beat as it's predictable. I played over 2k games, set at 21 hands, and won 84% of them also getting 42% of "shoot the moon" hands. The game mostly throws under and sometimes holds higher cards to stop StMs. Still though it's pretty fun. And no, I never once used the "Undo used" feature except hitting it accidentally trying to use the "Eye" icon to view previous trick.

The speed of play is awesome. Nothing slows play. No unnecessary 'triumphal' animations, no scoreboard update distractions. You actually see a running score during the round. A hand will stop when the result is known from cards remaining. This is they way Hearts should be played! I wouldn't complain if the graphics were less clunky but I would never want it to be at the expense of speed of play.

I play this for 8 years. It's become impossible to play a normal game. You have to make mandatory for players to pass one low heart or lose passes altogether. Blocking players who pass moons does not help much because EVERYONE pass moons nowadays in your game and your game has lost meaning. Also, it would be good to have 2 main rooms, the 2nd with the option of playing to 61, with Jack Diamond and the person who mooned having the option to choose whether moon will deduct 26 off his score.

Ads are a nuisance, but understandable and not too intrusive in this game. Ads only appear for a short time at the end of games, not during the game. The game itself is excellent, especially the online version, which takes the hanger to a new level. Engaging with so many lovely people across the planet is terrific. I just ignore the few fools.

This is a really great game to play, the challenge is finding four people that know "HOW" to play!! 💯💯💯 The skills to play this game require top notch ability, you have to pay attention to what is played, when it is played, and you must know how to pass.... One of the main keys is always passing a low to medium heart..... If you do this it almost guarantees that the person you're passing to will not be able to run the hearts, or "Shoot the Moon" as some people call it.....REQUIRES SKILLS!!

Much messier than Hearts+, the other free hearts online app. Gameplay feels weird the way it autocompletes hands for you, I don't like it because it leaves no room for winning off of player error/poor choice (it seems to assume the hand will play out PERFECTLY). For example I once played a game that just plain autofinished after 2 tricks? I'm not even sure the leading man knew he had a moon, we were playing normally then BAM: 1 player takes the remaining cards (like 40 cards!). Pretty annoying.

Game rewards low-skill play, rating system encourages people to play for 2nd and 3rd place. You can achieve a 100 rating by solely by being 2nd place every game. Edit (again): it rewards being first AND second, which can cause low-skill play for people who just want to get points. 2nd place gets +1 point on average, meaning they can abandon attempts to get first place and toss points at the 3rd and 4th to lock 2nd place in. Dev doesnt even understand their own game that they made.

The deals in this game are laughably unrealistic. I'm not saying they are rigged because the dev is very insistent it isn't in these reviews wink wink. BUT I am saying they need a new random algorithm or something. People shoot the moon all the time because half of the deals give each player 9 cards of one suit, and I can't count how many times I am dealt just the queen of spades or the queen and only one other spade, to the point where I can literally predict when it's going to happen. I am not clairvoyant; the fact of the matter is that these things aren't things that would happen often if you actually shuffled and dealt a physical deck of cards, yet they happen constantly on this app. It's just unfortunate and frustrating because I really like the rating system on this all but the only way to get higher is through sheer luck and that leads to the people with five stars thinking they are world relieved hearts players when really they are just on the lucky end of the "random" dealing.

Have played Hearts for decades and this the best I've come across, winnable but still can be challenging. Edit: Now after changing settings to the most challenging players or difficulty level, i rarely win a game. If i attempt a run 3 other players make sure I fail. If one of them attempt a run all three of them have stoppers. Bogus and not lifelike.

I have played over 25,000 hands on this app over the years. Most of the games were played while flying. The algorithm has been changed recently. I now end up with the 13 points from the queen of spades over 80% of the time. It is unrealistic to have the deals I receive. There are no random deals. Don't waste your time with this App. After reading the response, I call BS, and maintain that either the dealing algorithm, or the playing algorithm, has changed. I used to win over 60%, not any more.

75% + of hands dealt to me (when I play with all robots) I get 1-2 spades, more often than not one of those is the King/Queen/Ace, or one or more of them gets passed to me virtually bare. Hard to enjoy a game where a robot controls every 'random' set of cards, & 3 of the 4 players, & stacks the odds in everyone's favor except yours. It's like trying to beat a cheating player x 3; I've abandoned games where it was just impossible. Playing online seems to improve the dealing issue.

All in all a pretty decent game, but players are given way too much time to decide what card to play. This should be limited to 10 seconds max. (Mayby as low as 7 seconds). Unfortunately (the way it is now) some players are stalling the game, and thereby making it less attractive to play. Also during a game, the game was stopped from one reason or another. A message appeared on the screen, and I was sent back to the main screen and lost score points. This has just happened 3 or 4 times though, and not my biggest concern. Fix wait time, and it will be at least 4 stars, maybe even 5.

Finally a hearts game without the excessive intrusive ads. It simply works, much like their spades game. It is enjoyable and plays well. I'd love to have the option to select if I want to give my opponents 26 points or remove 26 points at the time of shooting the moon, not either or in the options. Sometimes it's best to give points, others it's better to remove the points
