Very strong capabilities and very near perceptive reception. The ads though get in the way at the worst times. If the sounds start to peak and I have to turn down the boost or volume it becomes an earache having to close out some advertisement while the high pitched squeal is vibrating my eardrums. Ouch and durh. Please find the ads useful during the off session time or don't have them block the controls.

really, it's actually hearing clear from a distance! I've tried a lot of hearing apps, this one is by far the best I've found! super easy user friendly! only 1 thing I wish could improve, is when listening to the recordings, you can't forward or rewind or stop, without having to start over!! this is the reason for the only 4 stars! overall. I appreciate the app! ty!

Devs u nd 2 reread:almost awesome. The eq might tune in to the voice being heard, but right beneath it is a page of ads.if you don't hit the pinpoint slider knob exactly, instead of changing frequency you slide the UI up out of view and the ad page into view. this is an app to use on the fly and will take a lot of practice to use it right so this clumsy action when you need to be focusing on what you're hearing is exasperating. Pls find a way to ask for money that still allows app to be tested.

Great app except recordings are not amplified the same as when you are listening live. This is huge. I try to use googles sound amplifier to overcome this and it works but with an echo and the pain of flipping between apps. Ads are annoying, but you can fix this by buying the paid version.Minus 2 stars for the inability to eq recordings or hear your recordings as you had them eq'd. I don't get why they wouldn't record the way you are listening to it, but recordings are quiet compared to boosted.

I got this to improve my hearing in crowded settings. I didn't even get a chance to use it for same. Upon starting, I was bombarded with ads. They were loud, and although short (usually), had very short intervals between them. They were hard to stop. When I pushed the "X", a new add would appear. I could probably live with the delay of maybe 1/4 second, but not with the $360.00/year price tag I was offered to get rid of the ads. Immediately uninstalled. Do not reply. It won't make a difference.

Wayyyy too many ads. Ads shouldn't be there to pester the user into submission, pester them into buying ad free versions. I get ads are necessary. But not like this. Literally every time I back out of a menu I get a 5 second ad. This makes me find alternatives. This does not make me want to pay for the "premium" version. Ads are seriously getting out of hand everywhere. This app is no exception. I don't care how good an app may be at its goal, too many ads will always drive people away.

Not bad. It's a little baffled sounding for me. I have the hardest time finding the right settings in the equilizer settings. I notice I can hear a little bit of sounds of people talking or a TV on and when I turn on the app, it kinda is distorted a Lil and hard to hear what I hear without it on and just my headphones on my head. If I could get some tips on setting up the equilizer right, I'd be much appreciated and I just may buy. This app. Ive had it perfect once, then I screwed up the setting

After reading reviews, I had high hopes that this app would meet my expectations. Although it was better than most others, the sound came thru fuzzy at times, muffled other times, yet only clear when in the same room. I didn't notice much of a boost in volume when the sound wasn't within my direct view. The amplifier's in-app equalizer wasnt free, so I tried tweaking my device's sound settings to improve input, but it didn't help. I also had an (expected) delay using Bluetooth earbuds.

Far far too many ads and the service isn't worth nearly as much as they're asking for weekly. I cannot stress how many ads there are. Half the screen is dedicated to ads and there are unskippable full screen ads constantly. It doesn't seem to interrupt the function of the app with ads but every possible second is monetized which makes the free version completely unusable. Just buy a cheap pair of noise cancelling headphones. This app isn't worth the time it takes to download.

I'm editing this to a new review, things are looking astonishingly good, however the title remains it's old one instead of the new and official one 'Hearing Clear' when you see it among other apps in the app list on your phone. In addition to that, sometimes the recordings don't save and end up becoming just 0:00. Other than that, you've got yourself a fine road on the way to a VERY amazing app.

No problems & it works very well. I'd prefer a 10 band equalizer but w/ this I can hear conversations in the other rooms of my house, the neighbors outside or through walls. It always works exactly how it should. The fact that you can record audio makes this my go to spy listening app. I've tried them all trust me This is by far the simplest, easiest, most reliable, efficient, effective and trusted app. I would try this one if you haven't yet. Ads don't take over like other apps. A+++

I've tried many hear boosting apps and this by far is the best. The sounds are really clear without weird humming noises. It also uses the microphone on you phone and not the headset, which is something i couldn't find in other ones. I'm using the free version and did not take the trial offer. At 15 bucks a week, thats a hell no, but i would definitly buy it is there was a one time price of the weekly rate.

Not happy with delay on what you here. I use it to watch TV with minimal sound but the voice and sound are always out of sync. You ask that I send details of what I'm experiencing. I couldn't have been more clear. I will add that because of the bluetooth limitations, I don't believe you can rectify the problem. It's not like having a dedicated frequency like you do with wireless mics. Try it yourself. Run the app and watch a tv show. If you get to a commercial, you will here the shows remaining vocal through the visual of the beginning of the commercial. There is as much as a 3 sec delay behind what you see and what you here.

It might be awesome, but I'm left feeling frustrated by the constant ads. I have a high tolerance for ads when I'm using something for free, but in an app specifically designed to improve audio experiences, I guess I expected the ads to be silent or something where you actively play it, or 5 ads are good for like a 10 minute spurt, instead of jarringly loud and sudden every minute or so (because, well, those are also amplified :s ).

I can't even navigate through the adds to try the app! Yeah, yea, yea it's the free version. What is a person supposed to do?Immediately hit with adds, but wait that's not all. After patiently waiting for the annoying add to finish. No X at the top right corner, and no visible exit. Every time I try, it's to the Play Store,in hopes of forcing me to download the app I do not want! I try Closing the window,I try backing out, back to the add to watch it all over again, again. I'm deleting, enough!

The free version has ads which wouldn't be that objectionable except that they come on at full volume and nearly break your ears. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn off the sound before it comes on. Also they seem to interfere with the capacity to make adjustments in the program. I wouldn't mind paying for a program but $7.99 a week is a bit much.

The base app has a lot of feedback, but it will get you pretty well for a private conversation above a whisper at a hundred yards, with some fine tuning using the equalizer function. Haven't paid for premium yet. The price point is pretty steep for an app that doesn't require any constant services by the creator or third parties. I mean you literally just plug and play it, so I don't know that I want to go that far into my pocket. Not like it's antivirus, or sty monitoring, so 4star over price.

Awesome sounds amplifier! Intuitive design, very simple and effective layout. I've only used the free version and it works pretty good on this Motorola one plus. It has a five band equalizer and volume booster. There are ad for the free version but not many and they're quick and not annoying. I would highly recommend this over many others I've tried.

Good buttttttt. It's actually a really good hearing app and I love that you can close it and it is still working. However, because of ad placement, if you start hearing that sound from two sources being to close together and you freak out and close it thinking that will stop it you're screwed. To get back in you are forced to watch the ad completely before you can turn the listening device off.

I've waisted big data, and have been bugged out through my ventures with other recorders, but I've just about compared them all- or at least the ones that were relevant, and I'm telling the newbies now-that this hearing app is about as good as you can possibly get! and it's crisp, and easy interface, coupled with 2-minute recordings, and a FREE equalizer,- that really steps your hearing up a few notches! is all on this app!-look no further...
