The coaches are not truly available 24/7. If you happen to need help when your coach or coaches aren't available you have to keep adding on new people they pick for you. Weird way how they try to steer you towards appointments rather than truly having someone available 24/7. Also super awkward if you don't "click" or easily build rapport with the coach they assign to you ...wish it were easier to change coaches if it's not working.

A great app to have, even if the notifications are glitchy sometimes. There have been a few times where I wanted to talk through a very negative unexpected event, but didn't have anyone else I could reach out to at the time. Even if your main coach isn't available, they'll always find someone you can chat with to help talk things through and help you put your thoughts in order. Sometimes it's nice to have an outside perspective on a difficult situation.

The tele-counseling option has made it very convenient to find counselors to speak to. I've had a few bad experiences with the representatives when scheduling appointments before, and have had bad matches with therapists, but I've also met counselors through this app with whom I've made significant progress with. The worksheets and option of a coach who I can speak with more often has also been very helpful. I recommend this app for the quality and convenience of treatment .

I'm not sure why so many people seem to be having trouble w/the app. I've been using for over a month and no issues connecting via chat or the contents. The coaches are quick to respond and super helpful. The coaching I've received have been professional, thought provoking, and challenging to help me grow personally and professionally. There are a mix of content for visual and auditory learners. Lessons are brief, yet good.I'd recommend using voice to text than trying to type on phone keyboard.

App is a little buggy at times: no notification when there's a new message, it notifies me but there ISN'T a new message, slow load, app doesn't function the way you'd expect out of a messaging app (no time stamp, no option to copy and paste the entire block, etc.). ALSO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE A WEB INTERFACE SO I CAN TYPE ON A KEYBOARD. Otherwise, the coaches have been extremely helpful; each has a different style. I can honestly say my life has improved since using this service.

I've been using this app for nearly 4 weeks now, and I'm loving it so far! The lessons are brief, intriguing, and super helpful- as are the coaching sessions. My coach has taught me some great ways to manage goals and to-do lists without getting overwhelmed. I'm actively using the tips given and seeing immediate improvement in my anxiety, ability to dive into things instead of procrastinating, and of course, overall happiness! The modern design of the app makes it easy to navigate it all. :)

The app is pretty good, but a little slow. The providers are great! Very helpful and compassionate. The billing department is terrible. After my third session, I still hadn't been billed, so I reached out to member support for a billing statement. The reps were great, but the billing dept took more than a month to respond despite multiple requests. 3 months later and multiple double-billings, they have finally corrected it. Horribly stressful, so I can't recommend this service at all.

Very clunky user experience that lacks utility. It's not easy to find my coach team and start a conversation, or potentially request time with any coach who happens to be available. All scheduling is word of mouth and there's a lack of an official scheduling feature with reminders, etc. In addition, user profiles are a list of menu items centered around payment.

I was recommended Ginger as a substitute for in-person therapy as my options locally were booked for months. My insurance (Kaiser) covers a certain amount of video sessions. The app itself is buggy at times & does not work well on iPad (I use my android phone instead). The coaches and customer service chats have been solid, though, and the therapist I see has been great. You do have the option to request a new coach/therapist at any time. Overall, my experience is good, technical issues aside.

Good concept but people you text take forever to text back and you are limited to 20 mins per unscheduled session. In my first attempt, I asked a question and the coach didn't respond in over minutes. At that rate, if you need help, and reach out, they basically write back 4 times and that's it. Doesn't feel helpful at all, and to probably get better support you need to preschedule in advance with a coach that you are working with. Definitely unimpressed.

After entering the access code provided by my employer, set-up was a breeze. I was able to schedule a session with a coach who had a profile picture and in-depth description about who they are and what they specialize in (which helps if you're nervous about texting strangers). So far my conversations with the coach have been extremely insightful and helpful! The library of articles are also informative and encouraging. I'm scheduling virtual therapy next, and I look forward to it (:

The idea of this is great, but I think they are still figuring things out. There is real time contact with service - which is very curt and almost rude, given that we are patients with possible mental health issues. Further more the desire to be helpful seems lacking. I feel like with more training this could be a great app connecting people to therapists, coaches. One last thing- this assumes you are doing it through your work since only work provides insurance

The self-help articles are really good but are only available during an active subscription. The process to work with a coach is horrible: it took two coaching sessions over two whole weeks to get through the onboarding phase alone. Total waste of time. Better use their widely-known competitor where the onboarding is done before you are matched with a therapist and takes only minutes. So when you start working with them, you can focus on actual therapy from the onset.

Feedback on the app and the service. App: low quality and not user friendly. Typing is on the phone, the slowest way to communicate. Given the appt is always timeboxed, this wastes a lot of time, compared to typing on a laptop/PC. The very serious connectivity issue. I have no connectivit issue with all the other apps/games on my phone and during a 30mins chatting sessin, I was disconnected and stuck in "connecting" for over 10mins, not exaggerating.

I have Kaiser, which covers services for this app. It's absolutely something everyone should take advantage of. Even if you don't get a therapy appointment soon (2-3 weeks wait), you're given a coach in the meantime who will work with you (only through text on the app). The coaching is high quality, personal, and 24/7. Areas of improvement: being able to type on a keyboard (website access), being able to share PDF/files with coaches

Ya, not a very great experience with this app and service at all. I had a coach assigned that kept putting off our first meeting. Also, she kept dismissing our chat time. Kept trying to make an appointment for when it was more convenient for her. I thought we would be able to chat with anyone, any time we needed some emotional support but, that was not the case. Very disappointing. Don't recommend.

My coach has been a life-changing asset to my understanding and management of my anxiety and acute trauma! The app works fine and has some extra articles and tools that can be very simple, but good if you're open minded about introspection and use them as tools to dig deeper independently. It's good. Sometimes I want something a bit more with higher intensity, but it's an excellent and easy intro!

I had two sessions with a coach. The first session increased my anxiety as they seemed to have a preset plan without listening. The second session focused on planning the next one. My anxiety and depression worsened. Their structure didn't help, and I don't see how it could. Some articles were helpful, but when my insurance changed, they seemed eager to end our sessions without offering alternatives. Overall, the emphasis was on game plans rather than attentive listening and constructive feedbac

This service should be available to every professional. It is very great to be able to reach someone that is neutral for any aspect of your life. The app could be improved but overall the quality of the coaches are great. Issues I am getting: - notification are doubled and lead to the signups page, hence useless. - the calendar to schedule appeared once and cannot find it anymore - need a web interface because phone to type is a chore

100% dont waste your time. This is ridiculous. Unprofessional. The app sucks. I went to cancel my account and that needs to be reviewed? Now I'm battling a dispute because I was charged for services I didn't even authorize. Left a message, called 8 times, and sent 2 emails. Still no response. Nobody picks up the phones. This is the kind of thing that discourages anybody from seeking any kind of mental issues. This doesn't deserve a single star on this review.
