Unable to view any details because of a super irritating feature. When you try to open the app it asks you to link the policy to track fitness. If you select it, it says no insured exists, if you try to send the error report, it says invalid file format. I am stuck in this irritating loop - why do you guys build such a bug-ridden app ? Poor poor experience. At a time when you need your health insurance policy !!! I would give a negative rating if I could. Mail sent to developer.

It's not functioning now properly. Whenever I am trying to login it is forcing to download "HDFC Here". What kind of idiocy is this. To use an are we supposed to download another app.

they are not interested in customer service or retention. there customer care will not be reachable 8 out of 10 times. On renewal they will leak data to fraudsters and then you will have 29 calls in one day all these callers have evry detail of your policy and will ask you to port. HDFC ergo will on there own will change your policy product and increase premium. I am having this policy for 9yrs. but even after that I have decided to discontinue. worst insurance ever.

I was using this app. Although it was slow and not syncing details properly but it was working at least after multiple tries. But after I updated the app, it tells me that my phone is rooted and I can't use the app. But I have never rooted my device! Everything else runs on my phone but suddenly after updating this app isn't working anymore. Worst experience really. Kindly resolve this, it's getting irritating now.

While I'm happy with HDFC Ergo's insurance plans and service, the app is quite appalling if you need to do anything more than check to make sure you have coverage. Most of the features in the app don't work and information isn't easily accessible. Almost all actions require an otp but once you submit it you find yourself back at the same page requiring the otp yet again. An endless loop of frustration!

The app is not at all maintained as compared to other HDFC apps. Navigation is super slow, pages keep on loading. Buttons clicked 2-3 times yealds the results. Informational messages suddenly pop up which are completely of different font. Now coming to the policies, just for checking and comparing the policies and the premium, it is mandatory to provide mobile number so that they can shoot you with phone calls. Not expected. Uninstalled.

Changing from 5* to 1*. The app is not being maintained. I am not able to click on the buttons for linked policy on the home page. I am not able to renew the policy from the app. This app has seen its downfall from great to worse. Please fix this app! People do not wish to wake up laptop for something which can be done on mobile with a few clicks!

It's become a source of stress and frustration. The constant "Something went wrong..." message during login has become my most unwelcome acquaintance. When an insurance app fails you at the moment you need it most, it's a serious concern. HDFC ERGO, please fix this! Invest in improving the app's stability and user experience. Make login seamless, policy access smooth, and error messages informative. Show your customers you value their convenience and peace of mind. I wouldn't recommend it.

Your app is not working properly, not able to raise claim last 15 days. When we are trying to register claim we are getting error as "Technical error pl Try again later". Even you support team on call has not addressed the issue. Pathetic app.

Hdfc all services are third class. App is hang again and again.. logout again and again in time... My advice to don't use this app as it is buggy. I also insist that doesn't use any hdfc service as all the services are third class...

Very difficult to use. Customer support is zero. Only you will get call from agent during renewal. At the time of clam no one will respond. This review is for overall service including app and customer service

It has been my worst experience with this app. I have been trying to renew my policy and it doesn't work. Tried using their live chat , doesn't work. Have to find the customer service number and call them to renew my policy. Then what is the use of the app in the first place if I have to call them

Worst app to renew insurance. Such a poorly designed app. Doesn't allow to change user details after logging in once. It's frustrating. This app is not easy to access.

App management from service provider is very poor. Whenever user login to the app with mobile number and OTP it is automatically getting logout saying session expired. Not sure how this app brought to live without performing proper testing.

Does the job but it isn't seamless. Renewing the policy from the app should automatically link it to my account but I have to manually enter the policy number and verify it to link it to the account it was purchased from. Outside if this there are some minor issues with the UI flow being not intuitive. Edit: This issue still remains in this app but works in the here app. But the here app misses biometric lock :)

Horrible, doens't load at all, There are lot of places on the App that will force you to rage click. Honestly, I don't understand why do you need an App for a one time activity. Just have a proper app guys. Your App doesn't work at all.

Pop up showing for another app to be downloaded. There is no closing button for the pop up too. How can we show the policy if needed thats why we are using app instead of taking paper with us. No use of using this app. The other app is also not useful since we cannot able to enter policy number fully.

Pathetic app. After login, the app doesn't load the policies and other details and it eventually fails. I haven't seen any poor performing app like this in the recent past. I doubt if the HDFC Engineering team is doing any testing before releasing the app to the public! Hope they soon fix all the high priority bugs and release an update of the app which actually works!

Dealing with reimbursements through HDFC Ergo can be extremely frustrating. They make the process challenging by repeatedly asking for documents every other day, even if they’ve already been submitted. It would be much more efficient if they reviewed all documents at once and requested any missing ones together, instead of raising new queries one after another. Last couple of years I use to suggest people to take HDFC ergo, but I don't suggest this app at all.
