It doesn't show outstanding principal balance which it was showing in previous version which was also not much useful as it was getting updated once in a year. How can hdfc hide details of customers own account. Useless app as its has very limited details to show. It seems this app is made just for the sake of having an app by a housing finance company.

There is no option to review the current outstanding balance. It only shows the outstanding balance until last April. Also, there is no option to part pay the loan. You have to go to branch directly. In today's world, this is too outdated. However, this app is atleast useful to check the loan details,. transaction details. I am thinking of switching the loan to other bank that provides peace of mind.

Eventhough the app is installed. I am unable to open this app.it is showing an error message that kindly update the wevbview. When I am keep trying to update the webview. It is showing an error message it is un published So plz kindly resolve the issue and enable to open and view the app

Worse app, previously when it was not merged with hdfc Bank it was excellent, but now it is worse. No good options in app like principal outstanding, to do prepayment. Also customer care is of no use, sent mail to them 1 week before and still waiting for the reply.

Worst application and frauds. They told that I can prepay loan online but there is no such option. Very slow process. No option to prepay loan online. You need to send email and wait till they reject request. Can't view principal outstanding as on date. No option available to download repayment schedule. Needs high level improvement

Most useless loan app ever created by a bank. Shows loan amount in dashboard.. But outstanding amount is hidden within some menu entry.. That too it shows principle outstanding as of new financial year only. ( Like if you check in Jan 2024, it shows balance As of Apr 2023).. To know the actual amount, you must visit branch. Way too conservative for a 140 billion $ networth Bank

The app is not very helpful because it lacks the feature to display the outstanding principal amount, which is essential for managing finances and making informed decisions. Additionally, the inability to pay the advance amount online adds inconvenience for users who prefer to handle transactions digitally. Instead, we have to go through the extra step of mailing to support team to get pay online option, which can be time-consuming and inefficient.

There is literally no use of having this app installed. On the app you cant see current principal outstanding, make part payment, etc. For each and every request you need to either drop a mail to customer care or visit branch. HDFC bank need to learn a lot from ICICI bank in terms of building customer friendly app. ICICI bank has the best app I have seen so far.

Worst app after the update. Previously there were lots of information available in the app which is missing now. Now app is only showing my total loan amount, rate of interest, emi amount and remaining term apart from my account no. Previously it used to show interest rate movement, all the transaction of my account, principal outstanding etc. Now for each of the above details, need to mail them and wait. Experience should be better after the update but in case, it's reverse.

It asked me to switch off the debugging from the developer options. After finding it out from the internet, I did what it told me to. It did nothing. The app is still not working. After showing the HDFC welcome poster, it immediately closes. Need a new update at the earliest otherwise I am stuck with going to the real office for checking out my balance. Please fix it as soon as possible with a new update.

The app doesn't have any useful information other than my loan account number, loan amount and rate of interest. Other information is incorrect like EMI amount, no of term paid vs. Remaining and could not find any information like schedule, interest paid for the current and previous financial year, etc. This app need to be improved a lot. The app is showing only one option that's dashboard which is not much useful

The app's latest update makes no sense. it has made the app ever more useless. Earlier, the access was within the app and you could have stayed logged in and use the app whenever you wanted. With this update, the app takes you to web page and you have to provide loan account # and DOB, then you will be asked to opt for an OTP option, either email or phone if you are lucky. I didn't get an option for phone OTP. The update has thrown the app backwards in time.

Good UI. Application looks more user friendly than before. Repo rate changes and interest rate future changes related information seem to be useful. However, Outstanding principal amount should be visible accurately as each month passes,and not the amount from the beginning of the year. This is one of the future feature request from my side. Thank you.

App not starting as I have Packet Capture App installed and that too in disabled state (it's not capturing any network traffic), My phone is not even rooted. It's developers incompetency if they cannot secure their app against any sniffing attacks, not the fault of users. Unistalled for forever! Good bye!

Completely pointless to install, they removed feature after another until all they tell you is the total loan amount that you took (which I don't need an app for). They used to show principal outstanding, interest rate movement, how much interest you could get if you re-mortgage, nothing left anymore. I don't know what these guys are thinking.

Latest update is absolutely useless: Doesn't save the login : need to re-enter credentials each time you open the app. Shows balance and total term(months) as same which isn't the real scenario. Doesn't show balance loan amount. The UI (user interface) is not user friendly. Also, hdfc home loans doesn't have online pre-payment /payment option. No frequent communications. All these makes service less of digital and make users to switch their home loans to other banks.

The new version of app is not good. No option to know the principal outstanding amount and other details which were there in earlier version. Keep crushing almost every time. It is showing that internet connection is not available but my phone has perfect network and good internet connectivity. All other apps are working fine. Please include the old feature. As they were very good.
