It finds what i need but is slow to load. Most importantly though, you cannot order on the app, you can only make lists and get coupons. You have to order from the website to order online. i should be able to have an account that works across devices too, but instead it's just a shopping list on whatever device you favorite on. I recently had to switch phones and unlike all my other apps, there was no account to tranfer so i had to go down each and every item an add it on my new phone.

Fairly complete app, decent search engine. App does stutter and freeze on occasion. Searches aren't as smooth and nuanced as others. HD is the best home improvement store app for features and performance. Lowe's is almost as good. Harbor Freight's app has made consistent improvement but still feels crude and can be quite slow. Would be nice to have ability to create multiple shopping lists too, as this is a retail store app after all. Otherwise works well, just suffers a lack of refinement.

Very poorly designed app. I used recieve a 20% off coupon that worked on most items I purchased and even in some cases covered the cost of their extended service protection. Now if I want to save a few dollars I have to Google that coupon. None of that information is in the app on top of ads for the Inside Track Club which I do not need. Really wish they would allow customers to use more of the original coupons. Love shopping at Harbor Freight but wish that would change.

This isn't a good app. It's very inefficient for the user. Take just the add that they send. You click on it and see a sad, spread out list of items unlike the packed adds that used to come in the mail. Scrolling down, you quickly run into multiple stops that you have to click past and wait for more to load instead of dynamic continual loading based on your scrolling. Then, if you look at an item and then hit 'back,' it sends you to the beginning to start your trek again. You can do better HB.

The app is good, but could be better. The most frustrating aspect is to receive a notification about a specific sale item, tab the notice, then can't find it once the app opens. So what's the point of having a notification?! This has happened too many times, and especially on items I was actually interested in purchasing. That leads to countless numbers of lost sales, as the consumer won't want to perform an extension search for the item sent in the notice.

I'll change it to 5 stars when the ITC browsing/scrolling is fixed. While scrolling down the ITC deals, if I tap on an item to learn more, when I go back to the list, it starts all the way at the top, meaning if I've scrolled down several pages worth, dutifully tapping the "load more" button several times, I have to figure out where I was when I left the list to look at an individual item. Also the ITC items should be searchable. Other than that it's fantastic!

Pretty good app, I usually have no issues when using it and like that Harbor Freight seems to have the right number of notifications on sale items, sales, new tools, etc. for me - not too many and not to where I miss finding out about items that I am interested in (at least as far as I know). There are minor things that could be made, more in the line of personal preference "tweaks" such as when going back to what I am looking at after clicking on a tool, it often starts all over.

It's easy to save the coupons and it's well organized, but there is room for improvement. I noticed that if I lock my phone and unlock it to the app it says "no connection". If I switch to a different app and come back, "no connection". I have to close this app and start it up again, losing my place. You can't buy on this app aparently, but that's ok because I have a HF closeby. You only get one picture per product and can't switch through different colors without going back to the product list.

Pretty good app. Mostly does what I expect, is pretty quick and the favorites list will make quickly snatching up stuff in store easier. It has a button to display all coupons that apply to items in your list. However I have noticed that items that I keep in there for long periods, waiting for a sale or its there because it is consumable, wont show the "sale price" on the item. So you still have to search for the same item to find the deals. Sell more by telling me when a fav drops price!

Some products (red colored) wash out on the screen sometimes. I'd like to be able to open the browser page from a product page, the app doesn't always have the full details I'm interested in for a product (like photos). Search can be buggy. I love the favorites list feature, and the number of push notifications is not too obnoxious. The scan coupons function in the upper right of the list is a real time saver! I also preferred the red hearts prior to the update.

Easy to find anything you might be looking for. Haven't encountered many glitches so I am blessed but I love this app and Harbor Freight keeps improving their tool lines making them more accessible, higher quality, and some of the best customer service I have ever received. I pray they don't become complacent in this. This is why I love Harbor Freight. One star removed for lack of window shopping features. I want wishlist features that make it easy to plan my dream garage.

What can I say, it promises what it delivers...only thing I wish they would do is make it so we could make a credit card payment through this app, and add the ability to make in store credit card payments as well. Other than that easy to use, and I'd recommend always calling the store about an item because the website may say one thing and then you get there and it turns out they don't have it... actually haven't had that happen on this app yet, others yes, just not here. Thanks for reading.

4 stars because there isn't a purchase option w/in the app. I don't have a great of time to get to stores to purchase things I see advertised. Nearly all other major retailers offer purchase options within their apps. I buy a lot from home depot because of this feature even though I have to swing by the store to pick it up sometimes instead of having it shipped. I like harbor freight and have spent a great deal of money with you guys. Make it easier for me to spend more.

Generally easy to navigate, quick and responsive, but some things don't work efficiently such as looking at coupons and some information is out of date. It logs you out too often for my liking. Item information isn't as expensive as the actual website but the app is good for quick lookups and scanning inventory, which is most of what I really need it for.

Needs work... Navigation is frustrating, when you click on an item and go back it repopulates the list and takes you back to the top. There's no way to filter by price or customer rating unless you search for a specific item. I should be able to order from the app. 12/22/23 UPDATE: The app has been greatly improved since my first review. Much easier to navigate, find the items you're looking for. Still needs work filtering results, has bugs and glitches from time to time. Overall much better!

Works well, only issue is it's difficult to navigate to the online ordering portion of the site through the app., if you try andit almost seems like shipping to home is not an option even though it mentions it in multiple places in the disclaimer messages and things like that.. If they redo anything, that's where I would start as a developer. Online sales should be easy to find and complete a purchase.. I'm sure a lot of sales have been missed out of frustration by the less persistent app users.

Fantastic shopping app. You can even save coupons alongside your wishlist, now. The app lets me research HF products on my own, at home, without asking sales people in a store. Only one issue kept me from giving a 5 star rating. When I share my wish list, I'd rather send a link that opens my actual list on the web site/app, rather than sending the entire wish list in a very long email. That way list changes can be updated without sending another email.

This is a incredibly convenient for seeing where and if a item is in stock! However after you leave the app for one second you get "Connectivity problems. Please check your internet connection or try again later." And need to close the app and reopen. It does have all products, however only has 1 image for each product unlike on the web which should be resolved. Great app just could use a little fixing!

Shows in-stock at location(s) selected and easy to use/purchase from. As always, know that these are cheaper versions of high-end tools and may not last as long in work environment vs. home/personal environment. Very happy with all but one of the tools I've purchased. Compressor (home/personal use) is still running strong at 10+ years old now!

Great deals and continually updates any new ones. Convenient coupons at the store that I can pop up and scan to get that great discount they promote. So far it's been a great app to have! Credit card payment options would be nice. But all and all for lower end tools that you would only use once in a while with a low price tag vrs. High high end tool that would break the bank. Harbor freight is the s***. In my opinion.
