Tips : in timing, swipe up on the words "slide to select a device" to choose the device you want to set times for it to turn on/off and slide on the time when the time menu is visable in order to edit. I dont like how the app is setup and the guides are no help at all. I dont know what folder the music should be in bc the app STILL won't sync my music in. I suggest they let us sync our YouTube/Spotify/Music Media to the app or simply just make the lights react to whatever audio the phone admits.

It's a good app. But I really wish that it didnt need your location or that it didnt consume data usage. You dont need a location for a light, you just dont its pointless. I also wish that it was compatible with listening to YouTube or spotify just so you dont have to listen to music that's already on your phone. It would make the app so much better if things were taken off.and if things were added.

Out of the 4 or 5 apps I use for controlling led lights around my house on my tvs etc.. this is BY FAR the worst. Takes a full minute or 2 to sync up to the lights to change settings. I avoid 99% of the "features" just because they don't work properly. My biggest gripe with the app is the color wheel is COMPLETELY wrong. At night time I like turning the lights down to soft warm white and clicking on the orange/yellow section of the wheel makes the lights lime green lol?!? Fix this already.

Honestly I just bought LED lights for my room and although they did come with a remote (not the standard one but a smaller version though we could still control and change the colours) it also talked bout this app that you could connect to your lights via bluetooth. I though it was a great feature that other lights couldn't offer. After using it, I think its really conveniant. It connects well and if you lose your remote or don't wanna get up, you can use the app instead!

This app does everything I want with no problems. It connects as soon as I walk into my house. It works without giving it any special permissions. The timer feature is easy to use. The "tape" music mode works through either your phone speaker or the light strip speaker. You can dial-in any color easily and save presets. It could use two improvements: the audio mode should work without using this app as your player and timer should be customizable for days of the week.

this app is well worth the configuration issues to get 6 flood lights setup i am using an android phone to connect to 6 led floodlights around my front yard. for the bad I can only connect to 3 lights at time so I have to make the configuration change (color and mode) to the first 3 and then repeat the process to the second 3 lights then I have to turn them off with my smart outlet and back on for them to all be in sink up. this is not too difficult but it would be nice if I could do them all at once !!! One thing I would like to see in the next upgrade of the app is the only thing missing is a DIY button or section giving the end user the ability to create custom color fades/combos for the different seasons or at least built in combos ie... RED White Blue Fade for the forth of July , or RED green fade for christmas, Orange Purple to black light for halloween. and maybe some fireworks type of lighting for the New Year . If this is too much to do give us the ability to do it in the app our self

I'm a little frustrated. I've been using this app and my lights for probably a year or two and haven't had much issue. Sometimes the app would crash and I'd have to restart my phone for it to be able to connect to the lights. However, now it won't connect to them at all and no matter what I do it isn't working. I've restarted my phone multiple times, turned off and on Bluetooth, deleted and reinstalled the app, and cleared all the data. It won't work so I have to delete it now. Such a shame.

Good enough? Connects really easy, picking a color is easy, flashing to a beat is not super accurate but can be decent enough with sensitivity set right. My biggest complaint is that you can't adjust the brightness anywhere except when picking one color solid on. I would really like to set the slow cycling rainbow with a lower brightness but only does it at full blast! Has to be an easy code add, especially with it already programmed in on the basic light.

The lights are fairly simple to set up. Inside the box, there is a QR code that you scan with your phone, and from there, download the app, and connect to your car through Bluetooth. My Unit worked immediately, and the app is fairly easy to use. My only negative concern is that app navigarion through all the different modes is a bit confusing. I am very impressed with outcome of the rgb underglow.

Device will not pair, more to do with hardware, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Phone sees device, will not pair. No problems pairing bluetooth on other devices. Tried connecting on 2 different phones and a tab each running different versions of android. 0 stars. Replaced the controller also.... This is the app directed to with the hardware I got. I saw a different app, "Triones" that looks the same. This one works, connected. Maybe it's an update for new BT releases?

SUCKS! Connect to my android once, and worked for a bit, but then it stopped working with the app. Mini controller thing is nice because I can at least control the lights minorly. Definitely would NOT recommend this even though the lights themselves have a good rating. Edit: 3 months in, the lights stopped connecting to anything at all. Ive tried different platforms (IOS, Android) and it doesnt work.

nice control software... just a few suggestions. it might be a good idea to add a screen for controlling each light channel seperately for better color blending. It would definately be good for the description of the software to tell people the synch with the controller is through the software. it might also be useful to either tell people that their location services must be on to use it, or to get it to work without needing that

Edit: still no response from the makers of this app. Poor customer service if you ask me 🤷 can't seem to connect 2 Bluetooth devices with the happy light app which makes no sense if you have the option to do that but whatever. I love the app itself and how it has a few nice functions, but it constantly kicks me off connection with my phone so I have to unplug the lights and reset it daily. I also wish the interface was better for the features it provides.

BATTERY DRAINER! This app requires you to turn on and keep on your location while using the app! GPS takes a lot of battery power to keep on, I don't understand why the app gas to use GPS for an app that syncs using Bluetooth. The app still has limited control and the names of the patterns does not show up only numbers so it takes a lot longer to find the pattern you want since you have to pick one then see it first before moving to the next one. There is plenty of room for improvement!!!!

The app is mostly fine, but the sound section is extremely lacking. Currently, the lights change colors when they hear a sound above the selected amount. However, the lights hurt my eyes, when they do to the quick switch. Having a pulse, like some of the other light effects would help. I cannot stress enough how important having it pulse is. Also, in the pulse you should be able to select only color for it to use. In addition, having the lights get lighter (in color) as the pitch gets higher.

The app is a good idea, makes it easier especially since my power supply is hidden away so I can't use the remote. Can anyone tell me how to work the "timing" option I tap on it and all I get on the screen is " please select a device " with an arrow pointing up to the power button and thats it, nothing else. Maybe this can be fixed soon??? I would be love to use my lights as an alarm ⏰

I love this app!!! It does take some time to get used to (a bit difficult to work with). But it's fast and easy, SO FAR I ain't had any problems, the light is amazing, the music ehhh.. and the time set up I don't recommend. But it is very workable, and it is amazing. Maybe more music suggestions (including; no downloading any music). I haven't figured out if you can connect bluetooth but it does say you can. My phone connected very fast. So yes, I do suggest this 'HappyLighting' app! :)

Some features are kinda pointless. You either have to use music downloaded to your phone, or you have to have your microphone on constantly. It would be far better if you could connect a streaming service account for such. This app lacks any sort of google home support, thus, meaning you have to go to the app to do anything light related. The final tab on the right is very confusing. There's no description of what it does and you can't make custom color settings. Good light, bad UI.

I was concerned when I read the bad reviews. But the app installed within seconds, I opened it up and it worked immediately. I did not have to search or detect anything. I just opened the app, started pushing buttons to change colors and it worked flawless. There are easy preset colors and you can even phase or strobe single colors or combinations of colors. It's incredibly easy and works great!! I have a Galaxy S10 if that helps.

Some things work but the most important doesn't. We're using this app to control a pool light. First, it won't power on or of through the app. Second, it will switch through colors but the light will not turn red. Greens and blues are fine but anything with red in it only turns blue or green.
