Uh App doesn't work. What's the point? Won't scan anything.

Didn't load on my Alcatel. Either got stuck on a white or black screen. 😔

This game sucks. It didn't work on my phone and it only works on iOS. You also have to buy the set to play which is a dumb thing. DON'T PLAY!!!!!

Could not get past the initial calibration. It misindentifies the scanned atoms.

Image recognition does not work at all. Tried just about a hundred times.

It wouldn't recognize any of the atoms we tryed scanning we are disappointed cause we had high hopes we will try and see if they have a costumer service , still the set is fun too work with just the app is dysfunctional.

I love the app! As a nerd, I love chemistry and the natural beauty of the elements. So I decided to give this a try. And it was indeed worth it! I also found out that they have variations of atoms for example, tritium, a variant of hydrogen!

Cannot get app to accept pics taken of molecule in order to progress & use set as intended. Sent email requesting help to address provided in app store but received reply stating, "We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (androidlist) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the group." There's no option in app to contact developer for help. Kids & parent highly disappointed.

Is there a way to manually enter the molecules? It scanned my 2d kit wrong every time. I had to dig into the directions to learn that you have to click the camera 9 times to bypass the tutorial. I haven't tried entering a molecule yet because I couldn't get past the Calibration/tutorial.

Wonderful educational game, but worthless without a working app. Spent $150 on the molecular set, but camera on Galaxy S23 doesn't pick up the atoms well enough to even get through the app calibration. Please, fix it!!! It used to work perfectly well years ago with an old Samsung tablet.

If I could give a 0 rating, I would. We could not get past the calibration in the tutorial. My grandson, who is 10, and I could not get the app to scan the oxygen atom. My grandson became very frustrated. I am very disappointed as he loves Chemistry and Science. I thought this would be a fun learning adventure for him.

Everyone says they had trouble with the scanning feature. Our family used 3 different devices and leaned quickly that taking a close up of the atoms vrs the entire mat made a big difference. Also if it gets one wrong its easy to change. My kids love it the app and I love that they are learning.

This is a POS! My kid was so excited and we could never even get the scanner to calibrate. Spent over an hour trying to get it to recognize the right atoms and not once did it identify even one of the calibration atoms correctly. And since there is no book or guide without the app it's an utter waste and I want my money back 🤬⚛️🤬

As others have mentioned, great kit but this app is such a waste of time and frustrating that the information is inaccessible. The camera does not pick up the correct atoms most of the time, so much time spent just trying to get this straight. Would love it if was more accurate, so my kids could spend more time learning and not trying to adjust the angle of the atoms!

It's kinda expensive. But other than that, it's just fun to make molecules. What you could do is add in a "reaction chamber" and show visually how it reacts (which atoms switch places, and how the electrons interact, etc). Also, can you add a function that allows for infinite atoms? (Just design your own molecule, without having to buy alot of sets) Like a sandbox mode, except maybe it costs $1.99 or use a code found on the box.

Image recognition is worthless and doesn't offer a way to enter what you have manually or to correct what it failed to scan. It was even hard to get past calibration and was super frustrating. Too much "help" text, because the whole thing is super confusing. Get a better UX designer please. And if you need to, make the vision task easier for yourselves with April tags or something.

I was ready to send the kit I got back after a half hour of multiple people trying to use this app on multiple devices. But I decided to try tech support instead. The tech support responded quickly and helped me bypass the tutorial which is the most finicky about taking the pictures. Now that the app is up and running it's AWESOME! True, sometimes the picture taking can be a bit problematic. We have to find the right lighting and background in different parts of the house during different times of the day, but if I am patient with the set up, the kids become independent learners and are sooo excited every time the create a molecule. So the star rating: Good tech support saved it from a 1, but the daily ritual of finding the best lighting prevents it from achieving 5 stardom. The information, puzzles and application are soo worth the headache of setting it up.
