This app has a lot of plusses but also some frustrating minuses. I bought the Premium edition because when it works correctly it works great, looks beautiful and easy to organize. But if you have an older book where the barcide was simply for the price it has to be put in manually, and some barcodes come up as CD's and DVDs instead of the book. Would love to see a search by ISBN number feature for the book info. Have to input a lot of my books manually.

I use this exclusively for my manga collection. It has an easy to use interface and nice bonus features like keeping track of what you read and a wishlist. My favorite feature is the backup to an excel file. I imagine the paid version is a great option for someone wanting more lists, but this works perfectly for me.

Easy to use with batch scanning. I was surprised at a few of the titles that couldn't be found, but it's easy to add them. The one thing that would make this *perfect* is a place for teachers to add a Lexile number. Even better if it populated with the autofill information. But it's very helpful and useful as-is.

I like this app a lot. However, my main beefs are that it does not allow connecting to an email or app account, which means that my wife and I can't manage our library from the same account, and that it doesn't have some of the statistics information available in other apps. These include total number of pages in library, total pages read, cost of library, etc. I appreciate the "lending" functionality and the amount of data that the app pulls in when it auto-populates from the barcode scanner, which in my opinion are superior to other apps. But without an account option, I can't give it five stars. I could do without the statistics function, but that would be nice to have also. The account thing is my main concern.

Pretty good library app. The authors names often get uploaded incorrectly with the first and last names reversed which then require manual changing. I would also suggest the ability to be able to add additional categories which seem to be limited to the ones set up in the app. Otherwise it is pretty easy to use.

The App is great, I wish I'd started using it sooner. It supplies much better information than other apps I have used. I only gave 4 stars because more often than not the author name fields are filled in incorrectly. (First Name in the last name slot and vice versa) Not a huge issue as it can be edited, but it does cause me.to have to edit almost every book I scan.

UPDATE: Finally figured out that once the list is in excel I can email it to myself so much happier with this ap. It is really easy to use. Unfortunately the only place you can keep and view your list is on your phone. Supposedly you can export as an excel but that just goes to the download folder on your phone and then you have to pay to have excel on your phone. If you export as a zip it goes to your One Drive but so far it has not actually exported any list. NO instructions ANYWHERE.

I downloaded this app last night so that I could better keep track of my family's personal library, both physical and digital. Handy Library is very easy to use, and allows for the creation of different shelves. This feature makes it easier to catalog our books into different catagories--comics vs. Digital novels vs. Physical novels vs. Cook books. I have spent the better part of my day going through our books, but it is rewarding.

Great app, but....I really need this to be able to sync with all devices, most importantly, a laptop or desktop. If you are on the OCD side, you would want to edit the titles of the books and categorize it more neatly as well. It is great that I almost never have trouble searching up any books, no matter how random I may think it is. However, the title is sometimes typed atrociously or there is a bunch of descriptions or keywords you don't want. I want to edit that quickly using a laptop.

(Premium) Overall a terrific app. Almost always finds the books by ISBN. Of the first 300 books I scanned, only one came back incorrectly. Some ISBNs didn't get a result, but these were special editions for book clubs or unedited pre-releases so hard to fault for that. Love getting the cover art, and batch scan makes it super easy to quickly input entire physical bookshelves. I like having both a virtual shelf as well as a separate location tag.

it was an okay app, I just had a few problems with it. when you want to rearrange your shelves you have to move them up or down one at a time. so, for someone who had 25 shelves and needed them in the "perfect" order, it was a little irritating. also, I hate that there is a limitation on how many books you can add if you don't want to pay $8 a month. I read A LOT, I need to be able to add more than 100 books, but I am also not going to be paying $8 dollars a month to do that. good concept, tho.

It's easy to use. Our family doesn't used this app for books but uses it for our extensive board game collection. In the place of name of author we put what type of game it is instead; ELA, STEM, zoology, math... Then we are able to search for example, math games and it pulls up all the games we have listened under math. It's easy enough our 1st grader can navigate the app.

Initially much impressed. And I upgraded for that reason. I wanted an App that allowed me to view and manage my lists offline, to swap out covers--with my photos--of the actual covers of my own copy, and to make note of a location for the books on my TBR lists. Handy Library managed all quite well. Then : 1) Some evil worm managed to slither into summary sections : wholly unconnected book /author summaries . 2) SAVE no longer functions on a shelf after 31 books. βββ

So far, I like it. Wish it could have the ability to make a sub bookshelf within a main bookshelf similar to the folder within a folder system. Also, it would be nice to have a way to select a batch of books and have it auto sum that selection based on the prices of those particular books. Right now, it just totals every book entered. Still, I'm enjoying the app and paid the life license without a second thought. I think this might be my best portable option. Thanks.

I love this app so much! It is so helpful and easy to use. Being able to scan the ISBN to add a book to my library is a great feature. I like having different customizable shelves and a wishlist. It has made keeping track of my large manga collection very easy. It also makes shopping a breeze, knowing what I have and what I need.

I've only had the app for maybe 5 minutes but you've already won me over! 1. THE BATCH SCANNING π YAY!!! makes it so much easier 2. LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION AT A REASONABLE PRICE?! You've got me! Love me some developers who understand a good price! an idea for a future update. I saw there's a "wishlist" feature. I wonder if it would be possible for the app to see that you have a book of a series, notice you're missing some of the series and prompt you to add the missing ones to the wishlist?

so far so good I have a large collection and am logging them into my system quickly. 4.14.24 I still love this app I am however running into issues with the backup feature. I didn't realize till today that it isn't backing up even when I request a back up it keeps telling me the backup failed I have checked every setting and it shouldn't be failing.

Seemed great at first. Until I tried to scan my older Stephen King books. It didn't recognize any of them. I have way too many "older" books to enter them manually. The search continues..... Update: I upgraded to the paid version because I really like the ease of the app and format. I'll just figure out a different way to track my older books. We have such a large collection of books it's still worth it.

Updating my review again. Originally a 4, downgraded to 1, but now back to 4. Seems only one app has unlimited image searches & it's a one-time fee of $50. While this app now charges for bundles of 100 searches when it was previously free, it's still the best mobile app I've found. Also, loss of image search is minimized by the picture and editing capabilities in the app being very good. App would get 5 stars if there was way to access libraries via website in addition to the mobile app.

Fantastic app! Easy to scan and organize. BUT now I can't scan more than 10 books without it crashing. Honestly wish I could get my money back. It's basically unusable for the function I needed it for. Edit for the developer: I am one of your premium users.
