It would be nice if the game offered some type of temporary shield after a hacto prevent back to back hacks against you (3 hits in 15 min is ridiculous). As it is you just about have to constantly be in game to prevent hacks. In addition the controls can be absolutely horrible. Large clusters that should be easy to hack can be impossible to hack simply because the UI will not recognize the node you are attempting to select. Do no recommend this for playing on a phone. Might be ok with a tablet.

Im usually REALLY hard on mobile games. They're either developed very poorly or are just nothing but an ad show. This game is fun, well made, and requires a lot of thinking. I LIKE THAT! Plus, yeah you can make in-game purchases and you will have better items for your level then otherwise possible... but nothing in the game is real money exclusive! If you're willing to grind you can have the exact same as those who spend money.

While I really like how the game works, I would really like a different security set up method. Its anoying trying to chsnge parts up only for your system to fall apart or you cant change anything because the system has to always be connected. It woulf be nice if we could temporarily freeze our setup and basically blueprint it. And if it would stay in a flat 2D space to make it a bit easier to see

I really like this game. The only downside is that as the longer queue times sink in you only really get to fiddle with it later and later. Having some fun idle time interaction in it could be fun. Something to make it so if we are waiting for programs to compile we can still tap on the app at something entertaining. Fantastic casual strategy game!

Long time player of the game here, been on Hackers since 2017, maybe earlier. I've seen the player base flourish, die, and be reborn in recent times. The game seems to have stopped working on my phone. Everytime I open it, it either crashes on a black screen, or tries to give me the loading screen and freezes. I haven't been able to access the game properly in almost 2 weeks. The most notable reason I think might be causing the issue is my recent update to Android 12, I hope this can be fixed.

I enjoy the game very much. It's easy to look at and has a fun and unique attack style. A few things that annoy me are the messed up paring system, a few minor bugs involving animation and compiling, and the annoying messages that say "come back" which I would mute if I didn't want to know when stuff is done being upgraded.

I like this game very much. The only thing I feel could be a little better are more options to hack into things. Maybe a training simulator that stays on world map to help practice different hacking techniques. And more options to pass time by while staying on the game. Sometimes I don't wanna close the app but I have to be patient and just let things build.

Pay to win game. Maxed out stealth will take your whole maxed out network every time, no matter how you set up your network. It takes way too long to upgrade literally everything, nodes max out way too early, node counts and combinations are too limited. The game is poorly designed, but has a lot of potential. Expand things, and reduce how strong stealth attacks are in relation to the scanner's ability to detect them, and you'll really have something.

Really like it. Has typical stuff like exponential wait times, you can pay for stuff of course but it's not necessary. I like setting things to upgrade before I go to sleep so the next day everything is done. Pro tip, you don't have to use the speedups in the tutorial, you can just wait, save up the credits, then register your email, get a free 250 credits, and immediately get a third builder thread.

I've been playing for about a year. Each stage of progress is just as challenging as the last. There is no single winning strategy- there are advantages to everything you choose to research and build. But there is one major disadvantage- research causes you to level up, same as with each building upgrade. If you choose to build income generation, you level up and go against harder opponents without having gained combat advantages.

I played this a long time ago and came back to it recently, so I couldn't play my old environment well even if I wanted to. They say you can reset your environment by deleting your nodes, but many aren't removable, and you can't de-upgrade them or roll back your attack programs. They say you can do a full reset with a process that involves them restoring purchases on the backend, but that did not work, and I haven't heard back on it. Apparently they've never heard of save slots or profiles -_-

I loved the game from the start, i was playing it and doing other things at the same time, when i went to go and search for my technically second opponent, i went to another app and when i tried to play again it continued loging me in and taking me to a flashing red and white internet symbol and repeating the process over and over even if i was still in the app. Ive tried a lot of things such as, deleting save progress, waiting for a more stable connection. Edit: somehow fixed it

I love the game, and chat is usually great, but I've spotted what seems to be a design flaw.. you see, level one nodes make perfect choke points. While this is useful, the mid-top rankers have abused it to oblivion by making every node that isn't for security(or the core) level 1. It's so bad that at higher levels it costs more B to hack someone than how many you'll get back after doing so. Completely killing replayability at higher ranks..

I think the game is pretty good as it is, but I think there could be a lot more done to further engage the player, or rather feel as if there's more to look forward to. Such as a sandbox mode run in a simulator on the main network. Preset networks set up at different difficulties where you have everything you have normally unlocked, and you can pay to unlock things early. On the other hand the visuals are 9/10, UI is an 8/10 for being a tiny bit confusing at first. I can also appreciate the fact that it's not too far from reality.

Pretty fun game! The hacks are challenging, but there are a variety of different hacks you can use to your advantage. Two small problems I have is that there is nothing stopping high-leveled players from preying on newer ones so they can't retrace. It also relies too heavily on waiting real-world time or spend a ridiculous amount of Credits to speed things up. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice game!

This game is great. It's got an amazing strategy aspect to it, and sensible advancements (such as upgrading your core before getting access to new nodes). You also get to do a lot of the game offline, like building or upgrading new nodes. The "retrace" and "replay" features are also useful, giving you an idea of a new node layout. All in all, it's the perfect game to waste a bit of time.

very limited amount of free credits available via missions. everything costs thousands of credits. backgrounds etc a few very unbalanced strategies that prevent balanced progress throughout midgame... (kind of a bummer that people can keep their level down, reputation down, and reap great benefits from the players who want to be all-round players, who get no benefits, and are basically penalized for it).. the support staff is awesome though, and discord players are very helpful and friendly.

Great simplistic graphics, it is a base defense clash of clans type thing. Problem: You never have enough storage space to get the good programs to hit defenses quick, because then you don't have enough programs to actually get to the core, and win. You are stuck having destroyed the enemy defenses with no choice but to surrender with no units. If you go for the long game, guess what there is a timer that makes it near impossible in the mid game to actually capture the core. Just frustrating :/

Its a great game. I liked the overall game play of it. Except for one thing: the wait times are some times ridiculous. And I do definitely wish there was a feature that could allow the player to attack his/her network to test the security and not lose any of the programs you built to test your own security. But other than that great game.

Overall the idea of this app is good but the game designers need to revisit the costs to build programs - in general, hacking a target is less rewarding than it costs, and building your network involves several obnoxiously long timers, obviously designed to push you to pay their premium currency to avoid. It is extremely easy to run out of resources to the point where you can't even play within the first half hour of play. Not as fun as I think the designers expected it to be.
