Beautifully realised, richly detailed little game world with a surprisingly large amount of content for a mobile game/port. The controls can be a little fiddly at times, with some fairly complex combinations of inputs required to move through some parts of the more sophisticated levels. Overall, though, it's a really high quality offering and is priced very fairly, at £5:99. Score: 4.2/5

Hmmm.. where do I start? First of all, I have a tiny bit of expectation with this game.. cuz it looks super similar to other stickman or low bit rpg games but guess what I was fascinated with everything.. the flow, the style, the mechanics, the gameplay, and of course the controls.. the puzzle's not that hard to figure out but not that easy either.. and come on, we can't ignore how cool the effects goes as well as the death animation

Plenty of content, great controls when playing with controller, good story. Enjoyed the experience! There was a bug where using the trigger buttons got stuck, but rebinding things to not use them helped.

I really enjoyed the game and planned to have given it a better rating but since I purchased it, there's a consistent lag and it becomes unplayable. I lowered the resolution and everything,nothing works to improve it. It's even updated. I don't know what the develope5s plan to do to fixitbut I hope they do something. Thx...

By far the best Metroidvanias I've played in my phone and one of the best I've played overall. Very nice graphics, amazing progression, well design maps, interesting story... I've been very addicted to it until the end, puting almost 30 hours for lessnthan 4 euros! 100% recommend!

This is an offline game but it has 999 ping, and crashes so often. I'm at a part where I'm forced to kill enemies , but it crashes so I literally cannot continue. It has this purple screen flashing then it crashes. It's a shame since the game it self is fine, but it's literally unplayable. Also my phone runs codm just fine, so I don't think it's a phone issue. What makes this hurt more is that the demo ran perfectly fine. I'm experiencing these crashes only after paying for the game

Sound is great! Gameplay is great! Art style is great! Animations are smooth! Nice pixilated graphics! What more could you ask for? It's a great game for action platformer lovers like me. I love how you can adjust the controls to fit the way you like. It's a perfect game, and I have no complaints. And I only played the demo, but I will definitely buy the full version. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

The demo itself of the game was intense alone, leaving me to crave for more. So I decided to purchase the full release and everything, and, as I foresaw it to be, the game never failed to not only meet my expectations but exceed them as well. There were some parts of the game I personally struggled with myself, but in the end, I managed to 100% every location except the "last level" (no spoiler for you), every hostile entity, and almost every NPC so far, and found almost all of the collectibles.

It's a really good metroidvania on phone. The controls are good and it has a great story. And if you are really struggling there is the green coin mechanic that can help make the game easier. Also the platforming is very fun and the combat isn't frustrating. I very highly recommend the full game to anyone who enjoys metroidvanias.

Just finished the free area of the game and I think this is a really good metroidvania. The controls are good, the story seems intriguing and the design is really good (level and graphical): the platforming challenges so far are cool, creative and balanced and the first boss was a blast, with the perfect difficulty In short, the game looks really good. I'm really thinking of buying the full game (on Nintendo Switch because I think the game experience'll be better on a console with a controller)

easily one of my favorite games, although you need to pay to unlock the full game it is worth it. if was vary interested in the story so much so that that when the newest dlc came out I played through it in one sitting. I whold love it if the game had a way to find baak and explore the whole world map, and I wish the boss rush mode was easyer to find. cause i was looking for it for over 20 minutes just to find out it was in the appartnt the whole time(witch is why i gave it 4 and not 5 stars

I only played the demo version of it, and on mobile, but it was a really good experience, the dialogue was good, the combat was good, the aiming system slowing time was cool, and that tutorial boss guy was a a good fight. I wish I could buy the full game. Only complaint is that the stick is locked to 1 specific part of the screen on mobile, making moving a little awkward, I get that there's probably more buttons that are going to go there for abilities and such so really not much is wrong! :)

The game is solid, but I don't think it works well with touch screen controls. Metroidvanias rely on you being able learning the control scheme so you can use it quickly and effortlessly and trying to figure out where the buttons are on the screen all the time is just too much. More, when you're holding the phone to do something that requires you to really know what's going on on screen all the time, your fingers cover up the screen and you can't respond quickly enough. Bet it's fun on PC though

Played the demo and haven't encountered any bugs (on retroid pocket 3+). Controls were immediately recognised and there were even options to remap. The game is smooth, charming with great animations. From what I've played so far it's more puzzle and movement based than actual fighting, but that could just be the beginning. Great metroidvania experience for mobile.

This is the best mobile game on the market, that I've seen. It's a true Metroidvania. On mobile, I find the controls to be very difficult, but it IS possible to beat the game without using any Greenie Points. (An in game exploit to make the game easier.) I find the story compelling. The gameplay I. excellent. The level design to be brilliant. The visuals to be well thought out. And the music and sound design to be perfect. 5/5

Free demo is pretty cool, but I have a huge gripe with it. At least for now, I'm not really considering buying it, but there are points in the level where you cannot go back in the level (at least with the abilities you have), and as someone who wants to 100% it, this makes it extremely difficult to if not impossible. That being said, many platformer mobile games suffer from bad controls. HAAK does controls perfectly.

Was having a great time with this game. Graphics are great, controls takes some getting used ton great story. Then I hit a point in the DLC where you regain your ability to deflect projectiles. I passed it once and died soon after. Respawned at the deflect challenge. Problem is my deflect no longer worked. Contacted Derek @ support and have received no response. Tried a fresh install and lost most of my progress. Very frustrating.
