I've tried a lot of workout apps, this is the first one that's not loaded with ads. I can be at the gym and quickly select a category ( bulk up, lean, endurance, etc.) and it provides me a list of exercises and I can use it right away. Doesn't require a lot of pre-planning of selecting which workouts and it's very user-friendly and intuitive!

Great app to help you track sets, reps, and weights. You need to setup your exercises first in a form of workout. And then start them. You can modify as you go if you like. It does take a few days to understand how it operates but once you know it is pretty easy and configurable. I like the feature where it will ping after every min of break between the workouts. Update: The developers responded with a method to add custom workout. Thank you!

Good app so far, only had it for 3 days. I really like making my own workouts and adding in custom exercises. I also like the animation and description of how to do each exercise. I took a star off the rating due to ads will sometimes get in the way of navigating the app and also not being able to record weight and measurements to track progress. In addition, under the BMI calculator, if you choose "ft + in" you can't plug in 10 or 11 for inches. It only takes 1 number. Overall, I like it.

I've only had the app a few days, so some of the things I dislike might be user error. That said, I love the organization of exercises - great descriptions and visuals of the focus muscles. I haven't tried them yet, but I love the preloaded workouts - so many to choose from! My dislikes: the calendar starts on Monday. I recorded my workout on the wrong day. Now I can't seem to edit it. Overall, very solid app, worth the download. Hey, it's free! Ads are small and don't get in the way using app.

I really like the app overall. It doesn't crash and the ad isn't an annoying pop-up. I would pay to get rid of the ad altogether if it was an option. There's some room for improvement but it's pretty good. I like the examples it shows for reference. It could use more work out options. It has a most normal workouts but there are a lot of machine workouts I use that are not listed so I have to just put in something similar to represent it.

Worked great. All my app info got deleted including workouts, could not create new workouts. Unistalled, installed new version. Still couldn't create workouts. It was good while it lasted and was free. Update: I'm leaving most of the previous post up in case others have the same issue. Quick response and the answer fixed the problem. Even though I had deleted the app, all my previous workouts were still there, so it must be linked to my login. App just what I want, and good service. Recommend

Great for making your own workout plans with no limit on time or the amount of different lists. Other apps may limit you. Only issue is it doesn't make progress suggestions or adjustments, so you do have to track this yourself. Granted, you can update weight/rep amounts that get saved and updated, but YOU have to make those changes. Would love to see an automated progress systems, to be fair, that may be in the paid system.

Great overall app! It really makes tracking your workouts easy. 1 suggestion for a future update is to allow adding a custom exercise, to an existing category. For example, if I create a Bulgarian Squat exercise, I'd like to be able to add it to the Legs category (instead of only the Custom category). It would make the Muscles Worked graph more accurate.

Love the app! Best gym workout app I've been able to find sofar, and with great perks like being free (with minimal ads), tons of free pre planned workouts, and the ability to plan your own workouts. The only other thing I would love to see is the ability to see your stats from the last time you completed a certain exercise to see how I compare to the last time. Edit: great app and awesome developer!! I think the day after I posted this review the option to view past sets was added!

Great app, helps explore new exercises to add to my home routines at my own pace. Just starting to explore the custom workouts function with rest timer, seems promising and has greater functionality than the app I've been using. I hope the developer might consider offering an ad free version that we can support. Also, I can't seem to get the calculators to work properly; BMI feet/inches input seems buggy. Nevertheless, 5 stars! Thank you!

The best workout app I've ever used and it's free. Lots of predefined workouts and exercises with detailed descriptions and illustrations. It also has a timer so you'd be ready for your next rep. Before, my rest time was inconsistent now it's always the same which is great. I don't feel bored anymore and not spending too much time in the gym. The only thing is sometimes it takes time to load the exercises, I'm not sure if it's my wifi or the app.

I love this app--I've been using it for approximately one year. There are many predefined workouts, but I have 5 custom workouts I've created & often edit/adjust to suit. You can search for exercises among several categories e.g., arms, legs, cardio, etc... & customize the number of sets, reps, & weight (or "time" for cardio). You can add exercises that aren't already in the system. When a workout is in progress, you can change all those features right then, too! It keeps a log of everything.

This is my favorite app. I used to wander around the gym doing the same boring things. This app allows me to plan my workout before I get to the gym. I really like the predefined workouts! It's like having a trainer without having to pay super high hourly rates to do what I can do on my own. It also has little videos showing you the exercise if you are not familiar with it. They also have written descriptions to make sure we're doing them correctly. I can also track my workouts! LOVE THIS!

I'm really love this app, I used Body space for years! but lately it hasn't been working at all! so I began searching for another app but they all would start off free then after a few workouts it then wanted you to basically subscribe for a monthly fee. This app is truly free! I also love that you can complete a set, the rest timer will start and I can put my phone in my pocket and will make a noise when time is up to start the next set! Get this app!

great app that helps you find new workouts. describes proper technique, and has visual illustrations to show how the move should look. really well thought out and put together. Also, you can create your own routines and save your exercises so you know what to do for next time. great for those who are starting out or haven't been to the gym in a while and are kind of "lost" or unsure what to do when they get to the gym.

To keep it simple what you're getting for the cost(free) is unparalleled. Not having adds shoved in my face. I agree with the critiques, almost all of them being requests for more excersizes being included, I can't give it less then 5 stars because again its free. Its simple and user friendly while not being dumbed down or empty. I admit I'm not a super body builder but I do weights 6 days a week and just having stuff on a schedule like this makes the workout that much easier and effective.

Honestly pretty dang good workouts on here for a free fitness app. I love the log, super helpful. I've been using this app for quite some years now and still love it. Its my fitness journal and workout guide most of the time. I just wish that there was a little better variety of workout plans, theyre all pretty similar for weightlifting at least

I'm struggling a bit with the UI. I mostly do duration based lifting to try to push myself to improve cardio. However, when I do duration workouts, it won't show my total weight lifted even though it's listed in the individual exercises within the log. Is there a way to edit that? Also I like that I can add custom exercises. However when I add photos it's just super zoomed in to one corner, and I can't actually see the whole image. Any recommendations to circumvent that?

I like this app. My recommendation would be to have the ability to add your own muscle group when you create a custom exercise. Also, it would be nice if an exercise is created, you can put it in another category other than Custom. Finally, it would be nice to have the ability to add non-weight exercises. I would like to log my warm-up runs along woth interval trainings, slope, etc. for treadmill, stairclimber, bikes and Row machine. Will change to 5 star if possible. Thanks!

It works for what I need. To just be able to create my own workouts and use it while in the gym is great. If you are looking for a bunch of interactive features then this is definitely not the app for you. The biggest plus is that it actually has a decent amount out workouts that you can choose from with different variations. It also gives clear directions on how to perform those exercises. I do wish that at some point in the future they add the option to sync workouts with apps like Google fit, Fitbit, lifesum, etc,.
