Free versions of apps are usually almost non functional, full of errors or theirs ads popping every moment make them unusable. Guitar Tuna is an exception. I've had over 10 years of experience with a few thousand apps and nothing compares to this one! The tuner is flawless and fast and the learning tools just brilliant. I didn't even think it's possible to learn chords so fast, but this app made it happen! I know my words sounds as if I'm sponsored - but I'm not lol. Best app of the XXI century!

Even after contacting support multiple times I still cannot restore my purchase. Ever since they switched to the subscription model it seems everyone from before loses access to what they purchased as they upgrade to a new phone. I've been waiting months for an email from a "specialist", which I'm sure I'll never. Before all that though it was pretty good. The developer will respond with the same message instructing me how to restore purchases, but it won't work just like always.

Great app. My only possible complaint is that it seems to nag me about rating the app at least once nearly every time I use it, immediately after tuning every string. Isn't once enough? This gets annoying because when I tune my guitar, I like to make sure to go over every string again after tuning all of them once for fine-tuning purposes. When I try to do this, the annoying rating screen pops up and gets in my way. It's just a minor annoyance, really. It still deaerves 5 stars in my book.

I bought a guitar for the first time in 10 years. Unwrapped it and realized it wasn't in tune at all. I downloaded this app, and in minutes I had the strings AT LEAST tuned to each other. It's crazy how far technology has come; back in my day you had to use a piano or a specially made device to time your instruments. I now use this app regularly to tune my guitar. This app makes it so easy to tune; highly recommend!

Great app! I've been using GuitarTuna for a few years, first the free version and then the paid version. Both work well, are intuitive and easy to use. I use the app every day, mainly for tuning my guitars, mandolins, fiddle, and ukulele, as well as for using the metronome. Never had a problem, crash, or bug with the app. Highly recommended!

This app is great! Totally recommend!The tuning is accurate, and the auto scrolling while playing a song is extremely helpful. It has a large selection of songs to play! The chord practices help a lot. But when you have a lot of songs, it'd be helpful if I could sort them. And if I could delete my history of songs. But besides that, download it!

I have had great experiences with this app. When trying to tune my guitar it is very clear what needs done to fix it. One thing my brain has always goofed on is accidentally turning the wrong peg when trying to tune. I have broken more than one violin strings that way. This app gives you a diagram that shows you which string to tune so I never have to worry. It also encourages to learn and grow more in guitar by recommending songs for you and explainations on how to do those songs.

It's very accurate when it comes to tuning, its simple to use, and it's free! Probably the only tuner app I'll ever need. Made this review in 2016, its 2022 now. Still the only app I use for tuning. Very simple and very easy to use. Ive used this app for 6 years now. Can't imagine that will change. They don't change what isn't broken, they perfect what works and create a flawless app. Maybe its my version but I don't get any intrusive ads or anything. I highly recommend and support this app.

This tuner app is not perfect, but it is really good it is fairly easy to navigate. It's not overly complicated to switch between different stringed instruments, I regularly use it to tune my 6 string ,12 string guitar and my mandolin. This is the best free tuner I have found for multiple instruments. It is also really easy to read the tuner, other free apps are often over complicated. Some of the adds & them trying to up sale features is annoying, but that is my only complaint.Really Solid App!

Overall, it's a good app if you don't mind the subscription price or if you only play in standard tuning, but a physical tuner is more practical. Personally, the app feels bloated with stuff that should be kept in Yousicisian, and I feel like a set price would be better for the consumer than a subscription. $30 a year to tune a half step down is silly. I just wanted a backup tuner in case I forget my clip on and I liked the UI, but I've settled for Fender Tune instead.

It used to work amazingly, but I restarted the beginner course because i hadn't played in a while and it won't let me finish it without buying the 'ultimate version'. I was on the last part, the song bit, and it let me do the preview, then it popped up to the page to buy the premium. I would like to be able to finish the BEGINNER course without paying.

Comprehensive and easy to use app, and absolutely worth it to get the paid version. Has most if not all tunings, for quite a few instruments in addition to guitar. Also has chords, exercises and a bunch of songs you can easily learn. I've had to deal with a couple of frustrating glitches but one of them has been fixed already and it's negligible. I haven't needed an electronic tuner since I've had the app.

I've used this app for years now and personally it's my favorite one. This tuner has been super helpful for me. It reads the pitch of the string very well so it makes it possible for quick and accurate tuning. You also have the option of tuning in other tunings besides standard as well as other instruments. I've recommended this app for friends and anyone else that might need a tuner. It also offers songs for you to learn. You really can't beat this app considering I won't cost you anything.

I bought a full app version of a well known website for guitar tabs for the features that I really wanted and needed. Then they updated their app and I lost everything and had a bunch of apps. Money was wasted. I found GuitarTuna and it has all the features plus more! I love GuitarTuna, it's fantastic and I love how it follows me while I play a song instead of just a normal Auto scroll. They did a phenomenal job creating this app and I appreciate their hard work! Thank you!

Been playing and using tuners and tuner apps for 15 years. This is the most accurate and least cumbersome tuning app I've found so far. It's hard to find an app that can actually pick up each string on bass, guitar, and ukulele with accuracy. Plus I always have to tell the app what string I'm trying to tune, they never pick up the right one. This one does.

Best free guitar tuner in the Google appstore by far. The free version comes with a wide variety of instruments you can choose from with your own tuning preferences. As well as many other features such as not only guitar lessons I strongly prefer to learn by, But you'll also find many songs of your choice to choose from. Hope this helps!! 5/5 stars HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!!!

I really enjoy this app. It's straightforward and pretty much very user-friendly. I especially like the many tools. The ear training exercises are killer as they have helped train my ear as far learning a piece just by hearing it. Once you know what you're hearing and learn the fretboard. Playing any song from a cold start becomes easier. You either love guitar or you don't. Learning it can be a labor of that love or a chore. Either way, this app makes it sweeter or less painful, 🎵👂👍🎸

Accurate, but full of bloat now. A few years ago, this app used to be a simple tuner. It was great! It's still one of the most accurate tuner apps I've used to date, but I dislike how it's full of bloat now. I want to be able to tune my guitar without a pop-up for song chords distracting me 10 seconds into tuning. Please make the app simple again!

as someone who has never played a guitar, I've been hopeful with this app. but i cant get past the first course. everything has a blue checkmark next to the lesson except the song at the end. once finished, it said "remarkable" then asked if i wanted to play it again. i just want to go to the next lesson. at this rate, im not going to upgrade out of the free trial. ill just cancel it. I'm sure this app is good for people with new guitars, but mines old and i had to glue theback together

Tuner is perfect, lots of helpful tutorials and lessons. I knocked a star because of the Spotify interface. Why even have it if it just redirects me here, to the Google play store. I cannot connect my songs as advertised, which I was excited about. I can't verify they are connected even though I logged in. It's bad programming, I hope they fix it.
