This game has so much potential to be the Guitar Hero or Rock Band of mobile, but thats not to say there aren't a couple of things that can be better. The leveling system needs a slight rework. It is not rewarding to be given 2 experience points and $40 for winning a battle. The only reason battles are worth the grind is to get to new stages. 2nd, there are WAY TOO MANY ADS. They give you an option after each battle to watch an ad for more rewards. If you select no, you still get hit with an ad.

The gameplay is very nice, smooth. always be sure to calibrate the latency on sound when switching from different audio devices (Bluetooth earbuds/headphones), or the notes may come in too early or too late. Ads are definitely something that is very irritating. Even after you refuse to allow the game to play an ad for you, in exchange for a gift, it will still play an ad, with no compensation. This has to be fixed. Leveling up is easy, don't listen to other reviews, they just suck. Thanks.

Played it pretty much all day... Decent rhythm game, reminds me of guitar hero back in the day. I didn't have any issues with note syncing and quickly started getting perfect on almost every song. The only problem I have is it's literally the same songs over and over and over again. I bowed out at level 5. And upgrades cost way too much in game currency and takes forever to level up. Good starting point but needs some fine tuning. Ads after every song, btw...

It's ok but it gets to hard after awhile you got to have small fingers and quick eyes to play this game and some song are way harder than they should be. Some of the notes are to close together and it makes it not fun. Would rate higher if it had a difficulty setting. After I got to pro mode it just wasn't fun anymore.

I've never even played this app!!! There is a game or there similar to the GH series that started all the rhythm tab games and it's called Beat MP3 2.0!!! You need to have music installed to your device though because the pre-installed tracks are wack... It was built to analyze your music you enjoy listening to and add the correct pattern of tabs to play your songs in a fun and cool way... I got add-free version which is a one-time pay deal that's very convenient... "Try Beat MP3 2.0"

This game is a huge pass. First of all, the notes are NOT in time with the beat, they are inconsistently a bit before and a bit after the beat, not only within the same song but within the same note sequence. Secondly, it's the worst forced ads possible. You will get constant pop up asking you to watch an ad for rewards, but even if you click no an ad still plays.

It's a fun game. It gives me nastalgia for when I was in high school rocking out on Guitar Hero with my friends. The big con. I can understand games like this costs money because the devs probably have to pay fees to use the songs but no mobile game is worth a MONTHLY subscription. Just make it a one time price. I would even be happy with buying extra song packs for a decent price. I would buy more mobile games but they are all designed to nickle and dime you to death

How convenient, I had the monthy subscription just cause I had a lot of songs on there I really liked to play until work picks back up and the day after that renewed, I get a notification that I need to resubscribe to either weekly, or annually. So from less than $10 dollars a month at a time, to $5.99 a week. I think this used to be good and the features still are. The management behind the app is what causes the 1 star rating for this.

I wish you could choose the difficulty when on battle mode. It would be far better if you didn't have to keep restarting to get to the levels you want to play. Anything below legend mode is too easy and the songs come too few in between when it's random. Please add this setting! And possibly add to where you can pick the songs from the full list. It would be amazing!

The game is out of sync with the songs themselves. There are basically no songs available unless you spend money. An ad after every song is absurd at best, and obnoxious by default. When prompted to watch a video for rewards an I say no, to them make me watch a video anyways is ridiculous. Likely going to uninstall the game because the performance is terrible

I really enjoyed this game until recently. It has just randomly started lagging so bad that it has become unplayable. I just did the update and cleared the cache. It didn't fix it. I'll be playing a game, and the game will stutter or completely miss the note entirely. The worst is when notes start randomly hitting on their own nonstop like someone else is playing, and my fingers aren't touching the screen. If this isn't fixed soon, I'll be uninstalling it unfortunately.

Overall a great time! Easy to navigate menus, on time tracking, great songs, 3 to 4 different game modes so far! Helpful and supportive community! Immediate responses from developers and acknowledged problems with the game itself! Thank you for this! My only main gripe is the fact that songs like Rainbow in the Dark, Cult of Personality, Johnny B Goode, do need a little bit of reworking due to how chaotic and clustered the notes are placed in. Also it seems star power isn't working properly

I hadn't played this game since 2020, and many things changed. There's new songs & I don't see some (if not all) from 2020. There's more ads now, & I dislike that it makes me watch one after every match, even when I still decline to see one. I also remember having seen a feature where you could add friends & play with them, which I no longer see. Overall, this game has its pros & cons, but it's still one of the best games compared to simular ones :)

Overall nice song list, most songs are condensed in ways that don't make much sense, and a couple have audio tracks that are slightly out of sync. My biggest problem is the amount of ads they want you to watch, and about 20-25% of the time, I watch the first ad and it makes you watch a second one to get the reward. Overall it isn't fun enough for me to get past double tapped ads.

They require an ad before and after game play. Furthermore, it's the worst kind of ad you have to skip 3x. The only reason I have them 2 stars is because they haven't locked the ads on levels. You can basically power level your band in a few hours so progress isn't 100% locked. Otherwise, it's a basic guitar hero knockoff that's way too easy. It says I'm playing against other players but there's just no way. I keep winning by 30-40k. I'm starting to think it's just bots set on easy.

Update: Thank you so much for fixing that. I was so excited today to see it working again! I went in, played and got my perfect score. This one song in particular is so fun for me to play! Johnny Be Good has not been working for over a month. Tried it in Battle mode and it was still broke. The notes on the guitar freeze then it automatically makes you lose and takes records away from you. Please have your tech guys fix this issue. I lost 26 records for no reason because of this issue.

So.... I'm updating my review with quite a bit of frustration. One major issue I am praying that you fine folks will address is when playing a song... before it starts and after you finish, if you accidentally hit any key it will count as a miss, even when the song is not playing. For instance, on several occasions after going perfect on a song I will accidentally hit a button and it will count as a skip... it's very frustrating because I take my ratio seriously. Please fix this. Thank you.
