Dull and disappointing. I loved Merchant and was pumped that the dev was coming out with a new game along the same vein, however after trudging through the tutorial over an our I had to tap out. It was waaay too dull. Also, I'm seriously skeptical of the 21 five star reviews before me. Side note: dev please add a feature to filter by crafting items by equipment slot.

This game is really great ! It requires to carefully think about how you want to build each of your heroes, and what abilities to use for each battle. The many different viable strategies allow you to experiment different builds for each hero, and different team compositions in order to find one that leads to victory !

Fun game similar to Merchant but more complex. Only thing I want to be able to do is sell materials that I grind for. I've built up a huge supply of leather and stuff that I will never use. But there is no limit on storage of materials so it doesnt really matter just an easy source of gold when I need it would be nice. Overall a very fun game.

Need a new graphic designer. Every pawn is the exact model with a narrow pointed face. Didnt get any better after that. Couple battles and I'm done. Also, cluttered home screen with floating ad for another game? Hard to take this one seriously if you are pushing another one right on the opening scene. Finally, the privacy policy opens but cant be closed without backing out. Just to many poor design choices in the first 5 minutes to consider trying it any further.

It's a fun game if you enjoy build optimization oriented gameplay. You'll constantly be tweaking equipment and ability loadouts for each fight to get things just right. I'd honestly give this game five stars if the ads and p2p aspects weren't so scummy. So far about a third of the characters are behind paywalls, with a number of them priced at over $5 apiece. End up watching ads for an 80% mission timer reduction every 5 minutes, and most of your gold income is adwalled as well.

Honestly a tight game for the few hours I've played it. The tutorial UX is a little rough but the game design is compelling and it feels like you make meaningful skill choices with your heroes. I think if the UX were just a bit cleaner, controls were laid out a tiny bit better, this would be a five star game.

Much much better with the latest update. Fun game with very good rewards for ads. Only thing I'd recommend is some kind of guidance for which gear works best for which kind of adventurer. That way there wouldn't have to be so much trial and error. Not terribly unmanageable though. Great game!

I played this game for months before i purched the wrong hero and got discouraged. Bought the hero worth 600. Turned out i should have bought the one priced at around 300 only since character stats are largely affected by crafted gears. So i uninstalled. But i'll give it a go again. Love the new logo, btw. I hope our gears can be sorted now based on hero class/path for easier access. Great game overall. Edit: why new logo won't show on homescreen? =/ old logo feels dull in comparison.

I love the game, I'll give it a 5. Though I rated it 5, I lost all my progress just from saving it, which was in a newly installed game in another device. After I installed it, after sync my Google accnt, I accidentally clicked the saved button, which replaces my old saved progress with a new, very new game play. I am bit frustrated because I beat the normal mode, acquired all heroes, played for almost 3months. Sad.. but still, for me it's a 5 game.

Played this game last year and had a lot of fun mixing things up when it comes to skills and gears. Organizing gears for heroes gets daunting when you have a lot of set available without proper sorting available. I just installed the game on a new phone a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised with graphics improvement and gear recommendations per heroes. Sorting gears per hero recommendation in crafting is a big help on deciding what to equip to who. A keeper. Great job devs! :)

Can we have an option to organize heroes by their class or category (tank/damage/heal)? It's getting confusing who goes where in line up when you got lots of heroes. Same with equipments. Would be great to organize them based on their usefulness to different hero class. 'Save' equipment option per heroes doesn't really help much, esp. if you have new gears. Great game still. Just please add these options. Thanks devs! <3

compared to retora's merchant game, this one focuses more on the tactical aspects of combat & itemization. crafting from collected materialsare emphasized more than trading, in which theres almost no buying and selling activities in game. what i like from this game more than merchant is the beautiful arts in game. there's also the interesting backstories for almost every characters/items/places you see. edit:ads are hit or miss... sometimes they can play, sometimes not. maybe its the ad provider

I've been playing this game for a while and currently at level 32.. Just now i lost all of my equipments and materials. I am not sure if its about the update. Hopefully this can still be fixed. If so, i will definitely redo my review. ***UPDATE: The issue is already resolved. Customer support is amazing. Their response time is very fast. The back up system of this ģame play is awesome. The game itself plus Customer Support deserves more than a 5 star!

The game is actually good! Careful skill and equipment planning is a must for a successful endgame. Still there are some outstanding combos which tend to fit everywhere (but hard to discover). Deep mechanics, nice art. Sometimes fights are too long though even with all possible speed boosts :(

It's a really fun game! You can hire different kinds of characters, equip items that matches the way you want that character to be. Use a forge to build new items and skills. You can get the materials by completing quests. Also, every character has a unique history and 3 possible paths you can follow or mix them up too. You don't need to be online to play it. If you need help just go to their discord, lots of people will gladly help you out.

Love the game, developers are really kind, the art and background stories are really well done and its free to play. With couple of ads you get all kinds of goodies, tbg I haven't bought anything yet and still I got really far in game. The item choices for heroes are extensional and I love how you keep unlocking new items, runes and spells. The music in the game is really nice aswell. Every time you unlock new character or items set, it feels really rewarding. Great game!

I've been playing Guild Masters in beta for a couple months now. I've seen the game evolve over time into what it has become today. My best description for this game is quite simply that it is the best strategy game I've ever played on a mobile device. I've not encountered a game that is so full of depth and options and theory craft as this. While this might be a casual game, it's as far from a mindless idle clicker as you can get. Your choices matter. The runes you equip, the gear you select, the talent paths you choose all matter. Best of all, nothing is set forever. You can change all of these selections whenever you like. I'll end my review on 2 points: 1: The game has a thriving Discord community. I've found the members to be so helpful and encouraging throughout my time playing the game. I've not had this much interaction with a games creator before. The experience has been immensely refreshing. 2: I figure I'll mention the elephant in the room. Yes, the game has micro-transactions. If you buy everything, the numbers could add up. That said, the game is no where in the vicinity of pay to win. That said, you can unlock nearly everything in the game with gems, which are given through quests. The choice really is up to you. Personally, I've sunk an absurd amount of hours into this game and have gotten my monies worth 40 fold. Here's the bottom line: If you're looking for a game with deep strategic choices, this game is for you. If you looking for a game to sort of mindlessly kill time without thinking much about what you're doing...this might not be your game.

Good game, but frustrating user interface. I really like the concept of upgrading your existing gear until you are able to beat higher level opponents and craft higher level equipment. Managing character equipment is frustrating. Which character needs armor and health? Which character is my mage and which one is my tank? I forget because they come with pre-defined names that I can't change and there is no obvious description or classes. What gear do I currently have in my inventory, and which characters have the 'weakest' gear that I know I need to upgrade? It takes too many clicks through too many characters and menus to try to figure this stuff out. And how do I know what stats I need to improve? Do I need more accuracy or more power? Parsing through 300 pages of combat logs to try to figure this out with no contextual help from the game is too time consuming. And there are too many stats to keep track of (24 I think?). This level of depth/complexity is probably good for someone who has tons of time and wants to go really deep into a game, but it is a turnoff for someone with only a limited amount of time to try to figure out game mechanics.

Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish... and back to start again. The mechanics are thoughtful and polished with genuinely challenging puzzles, breathtaking art, and a refreshing take on free-to-play mechanics. The character balance is exceptionally well done. No character stands out as "more powerful" than any other and each character can be used as part of an incredible array of strategies. Choosing skills, runes, and equipment to help each character fill the role you choose for them is an exercise in creativity and tactical prowess. The game has serious staying power with tons of different maps, fights, and varied game modes. You won't be "done" with it any time soon! The art in the game is brilliantly done and well showcased. And behind the art is an epic tale that unfolds one step at a time. This is a game well worth your time.

The concept is fine, but ultimately the mission timers just got to where the game became tap tap tap... Wait... Reopen app... Tap tap tap. Eventually I just found myself not reopening the app. Generally the game is well explained, but by area 3 you suddenly find yourself with so many options and formulae, optimization becomes dizzying. There's great transparency, but it's excessively complex. Some confusing things aren't explained like the meaning of an hourglass in skills. Good game overall.
