The game is very good, and it is the same PS2 game. Please please pleasseee fix the NGP status -88 error it is saying my account is eligible for gaming, and I have been playing for 2 weeks now. I contacted netflix Help Center, and they are saying they are working on the fix, but its been more than 2 weeks now and still not resolved. I can not offer my data to be erased now, so please fix this ASAP. This is unacceptable from a huge team and company like Netflix to have such silly errors poping up

Laggy and textures don't render properly in a lot of areas. Lack of vegetation detail it doesnt move when you walk through it like on vc. alleyways could have trash cans. The Garages can have stuff inside on the walls! But not in open areas with collisions As once 2 car garages are now 1 car garages? Rain water doesn't collect on road surfaces or hit cars or floor areas. Fog and draw distance needs much more improvement. Some character models especially Denise look hideous.

3 star rating still because of graphics and game runs okay. However, there are still bugs, we lose our weapons when we die, and the controls when playing pool are still bugged. Please fix the game, even after your small update nothing that was pointed out was rarely fixed... If this stays as is, I'm just giving up on this version and going back to PC where modders seem to do a better job at fixing the game..

The game is good, I have no issues with the controls like other reviews say. The only thing I've found,which I really hope gets fixed so I can go further, is that when trying to do the mission where Mike Toreno is kidnapped, when coming out of the airport the red marker disappears which I've found a work around for but then when you get to the pleasure domes, the cut scene crashes. I've also tried doing without any cheats and it still doesn't work...

Pretty cool that you get to play this for free if you have a Netflix subscription, but it doesn't make up for the fact that this just isn't a good port. Not only is it the infamous "definitive edition" port, but it's also quite laggy and suffers from some input delay as a result. I could probably still finish the game in this state, but I don't think I will.

This game is terrible. I love gta but its been super glitchy and although I had a poor time I still tried playing it, but the last straw was when I tried the mission "Black Project" and once I entered the red portal thingy at the end with the jetpack, the screen turns black and I am then met with a still screen of Carl just standing there. Awful rendition of a classic and i'll never be able to play the rest of the game because of it

One of the all time great action, open world games. The only issue is that it continues to glitch during game use and freeze and then stop during play. Annoying that I have to reset the game and start playing again from last saved progress. Netflix please fix these bugs!!! Update!- Game doesn't even start. Too buggy smh

With a controller it's a blast having this right on your phone. Using a galaxy s22 and I will say the graphics look nothing like the trailers (I assume they either aren't from mobile gameplay or using dedicated gaming phone) it's a paw port from 2004 for a phone lol it's only going to look so good. Gameplay is fine only thing that gets glitchy is driving continuously at high speeds can drop frames pretty bad but nothing that isn't tolerable for what it is

After the initial download you are taken to an in game download screen for additional files, yet both times has stalled at the last .15gb claiming data connection failure. You can close the app then go back in and play just fine, but you will be left with a downloading notification you can't get rid of. So far haven't noticed any effects on the game or phone performance but very annoying, even restarted the phone and uninstalled the app/ reinstalled. The game controls are clunky as well.

Phenomenal game through and through. From the graphics to the story and everything in between. This game is much better than I remember it to be. If you have the backbone it's even better. I most definitely do not recommend you play this without it. My only gripe is towards endgame You will come across a glitch that makes the cut scenes skip dialogue. Ten out of ten though.

Game controls are difficult to play in android, movements are jerky on touchscreen and game doesn't work with external devices. Game controller, keyboard or mouse don't work. Please incorporate external devices. I miss this game, but almost unplayable on harder missions, and frustrating to replay missions and fail over and over because they were designed for a game controller.

I'm honestly surprised at how well it actually runs. For being a mobile port of a remastered version of a PS2 game, it looks amazing and runs well. I haven't gotten far enough or done enough to see if it's extremely buggy or not, but so far, I'm actually glad to be able to play this on mobile. Hooking up a USB-C to HDMI cable to my phone and running it to my TV just saved me $60 from having to actually buy the definitive edition on PC or Console. Definitely worth playing, as it's literally free.

Good: 1. many bug fixes compared to latest definitive edition on PC and console 2. classic lighting is also nice to have. Bad: 1.control buttons are too small and hard to edit 2.resolution doesn't save 3.poor optimization and stuttering even on high end snapdragon phones 4. Still many bugs like broken objects drowning into street, assets don't load even when you are close to them, etc. 5. Most likely, comments like this are a waste of time.

It's great, runs super smooth. I am actually surprised how well it runs on my old phone. No issues while playing. - - It kinda sucks not being able to play it on PC because phone is so small. Would be nice to be able to switch it up. - - My biggest issue is if I have to do anything on my phone, the game closes and I have to load back in. Losing any immediate progress beforehand and putting me back a few minutes. Wish it would just keep running while I respond to messages. Kinda frustrating.

The graphics are great, and the new features that weren't in the original game are nice, too. However, the controls are janky, it tends to lag a little bit, the aim is very poor, the camera movement for your person is very poor, and you can hardly adjust anything in the settings such as increasing the button sizes. Had strong potential, but it isn't living up to that

They have improved the frame pacing. It is better than the initial release. The jitters were impossible to ignore and play back then, but now it almost playable. But, however , 10 mins of play, and it gets my device so hot that i have to stop. I'm playing on Galaxy s21. I have edited my review thrice, and now updated my ratings from 5 to 2 stars. I think getting the anniversary version is a better option. I have completed the game there, it's smooth and doesn't lag or heat at all
