It is unplayable on a phone. God forbid you come up to a mission that involves driving or shooting because you cannot do either of those things on this port. You would be better off buying a PS2 and the actual game than downloading this.

Solid port. As an owner of the og ports, I'm loving the new graphics and revamped physics. Good work Rockstar 👏 Unfortunately there's no horn, which means no siren either Edit: you have to double tap the centre of the screen to use the horn and sirens, which is kind of a bad change to me. What was wrong with the original horn button?

Finished it today, satisfied with the graphics and the game is doable with touch controll. Only reason with the 4 star is on rare occassions the steer buttons are unresponsive. Tip to those who wish to play this: turn off the haptic in the settings, it minimizes the unresponsiveness of buttons for me, but this won't remove it totally.

Still a masterpiece, but there are performance issues and bugs in this version. S21 Fe sd888 phone can run the game decently. touch controls are fully customizable and I was able to complete the whole game without the controls causing difficulty issues. if they polish up the engine bugs and performance, it will be a 5 star game.

The game is so annoying, i ALWAYS lose all my progress in the game and need to restart from the beginning, i'm literally rating this 1 star only

A fun trip down memory lane, but the controls on screen are horrid for anyone notnised to phone gaming (and frankly I've never understood why anyone would want to be used to it), and vehicles randomly stop moving even when you hold the accelerator which is just awkward. Think I'd rather pay for it on PS5 and play on a big screen with a controller.

Needs optimization Drains battery quickly, heats up a lot, game has a very weird contrast, frame rate isn't stable and capped to 30 fps, very few graphics settings, rain looks bad, a bug where if the game gets paused (If you open quick settings or go to home screen) then if cutscene is playing it will glitch and won't show properly and the sound gets muted. Hope the developers fix these issues Played on Realme GT 2 (Snapdragon 888)

My old s8 is supported but my new xiaomi 12 isn't. Great job netflix! Seems like you grabbed your intern to write the compatibility list :)

Original is great. This version is still buggier than the original and runs pretty poorly considering the visual upgrade isn't that substantial. I was hoping this Netflix version would finally fix the issues, but unfortunately Rockstar and/or Take Two clearly aren't committed to fixing this problem. And why would they, despite the endless issues, this release still made them a tonne of money. Why would they care about quality at this point?

Hopped on this after completing San Andreas. Same kind of review with the controls; a bit finicky but got used to it. It also crashed a few times. But I enjoyed completing the main missions. Updated graphics are awesome. Crazy to think that the last time I played GTA 3 was on PS2 about 20 years ago! Now it's in the palm of my hand with quick loading screens. Overall, playing this trilogy again was enjoyable and nostalgic. Played on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.

I'm giving 5 stars cause it's an excellent game that we get "for free" through our Netflix sub. However, be aware that the game can be buggy, the FPS can drop randomly, textures can be (very) blurry for 5s before buildings actually start actually appearing on screen etc. But the hardest part are the controls, clicking on the right button to shoot, run (etc.) while moving around can be really challenging.

Worth it if you are already a Netflix member. Similar quality to the switch version, playable and can look ok graphically. Frame rate hovers just below 30fps, at full resolution, with some stutters every now and then, especially when moving faster. Already a fun game, if you haven't bought the original GTA 3 mobile and are a netflix member, definitely worth playing this.

Reviewing from the Samsung Galaxy S10. The performance is poor. From constant frame drops, to stutters, it makes the game really difficult to play. The visuals at times are better than the originals. But not always. The classic lighting is a fantastic option that stays true to the originals. But the weather although looks much better than the DE. The weather is still better in the original. The small visual improvements aren't worth the huge performance loss. Original is better.

Overheats but works. Unfortunately it seems that this game won't run well on lower end devices, as my in experience; it ran pretty well with the occasional stutter on the highest settings. However, my phone felt like a microwave because of how hot it got trying to run it. Turning the resolution down to it's lowest certainly helps, but it still heats up after a few minutes. The game is still solid and worth playing though, you'll just need a high end phone to run it properly and safely.

It stutters and lags a lot, even with the graphics settings cranked all the way down. It's borderline unplayable. This is a big disappointment since I consider my Galaxy s21 to be a rather high-end phone.

The most challenging thing in this game is driving, I can't win the race (Turismo) mission. If you can't make driving better increase the timers on missions and make drivers slower.

Excellent experience and wayy better port over the original. I appreciate the return of original lightning of remastered. The recent update was excellent. The jitters were impossible to ignore and play back then, but now they are very negligible. I'm playing on Galaxy s21.

In my experience it is great so long as you have a controller of sort, the mobile controls are hard to get used to and uncomfortable but playing with a controller was a life changer, just pair your controller with your phone for this game and you should be good

Pretty decent port, but it really needs the ability to turn off motion blur, and the resolution slider should give you an indication of the current setting. The performance is okay, doesn't feel super smooth, but there's no frame counter so it's hard to measure objectively. Otherwise, it supports controllers out of the box and looks pretty good (other than the nauseating motion blur).
