An excellent mobile game, adapted from the ds it is able to easily translate the touch screen controls from the console onto mobile. While the touch screen controls are good having an encasing controller such as a gamesir would allow it to best mimic the origonal format and get the best of both worlds.

in PSP Vigilante(cop computer) we can always choose any 1 from 3 crimes but now on Android there is always 1st one forced to choose why? And Also add psp Melanie Mallard missions why Developers remove that mission?

This game is great but the Android port is mediocre the psp exclusive missions are missing, the graphics looks inferior, it uses the Nintendo DS version meaning the player could move at 8 directions only because of this the driving is painful and lastly the controller support is terrible however it is still pretty fun and worth the price and you're not missing out too much with the psp exclusive missions although in my opinion the best way to experience this game is by playing the psp version

The game play is amazing & the storyline is fantastic. I am a big fan of all GTA games and I didnt play this part yet. Now be that I jave tried it on the phone 📱 , I can say it's awesome and the controller with touchscreen feature is amazing. Is is working smoothly on S23 plus and with S21 it refused to start

Google Play doesn't keep a record of receipts when you purchase an app, so theres no way to restore your app on a different phone even if you already paid for it. Just a long list of things I hate about Google recently. This game is pretty fun though. Guess I have to purchase again. Update: Game is whack now. I press left my character moves right. I can barely control him.

Paid for this and after getting a new phone they just lock me out of the game. Even uploaded the receipt with the transaction ID and they still don't accept it. The transaction ID I enter and the one on my purchase receipt are the same, but for some reason they claim they two IDs are different and lock me out of the game. Then I receive a 'noreply' email telling me to do the same procedure I have already done so many times. Beware.Think before you purchase this one.

Appalling company with awful support and worse practices. I bought and paid for this a while back. Got a new phone and decided to install this to play again, but they have added some extra unnecessary DRM layer that does not work. Open it and get the option to either (1) subscribe to GTA+ (2) Play free for just 30 minutes (3) Buy it again. Have had a support ticket open for 2.5 months so far, having provided my original purchase receipt and ID. going round and round and still unable to play.

Was a great game until I got a new phone, and after reinstalling it doesn't say I paid for it anymore even though I bought it here on Play. So, that's pretty messed up.

Reminds me of the DS port with better graphics, the touchscreen works fine and it has controller support.

I remember back in the day when I wanted to try out this one for the longest time when I saw it on mobile, Played it on the DS and absolutely loved it so much, as a huge fan of the Gta series, it was quite unique as it had that first two games vibe while maintaining the more advanced entries feels. Though I'm bummed about it being a 30 minutes trial, too. But that's okay, every penny spent is all worth it, Peace.

Unbelievable. What's the point of making the game "free" if you're gonna have to pay for it after installing anyways. People who've bought this game before now have to pay for it again, truly awful and unnecessary change.

I'm trying to play on a Samsung galaxy s22 ultra. For some reason, the game won't load past the initial credits screen. I get about 2 seconds of that screen, and then it crashes. Never had an issue with any of my other phones, or tablets. I love this game, and I'd love to be able to play it, but at this moment it's completely unplayable.

People complaining about the mini games just honestly dont get the game. This game was built from the ground up for the Nintendo DS. Its touch screen aspects translate perfectly to mobile. The "hustling" mini game is super addicting and one of the fastest ways to get cash in the game. the graphics are beautiful and it makes driving through the surprisingly large Liberty City even more enjoyable. soundtrack is awesome too even though there are no vocals. only downfall, no ChatterboxFM :(

The game does not run on my Galaxy S21 phone, but after installing it on my Samsung tablet I love it. I've been nostalgic for that GTA 2 vibe and this game does a good job of bringing that game play back to life. I also realized that playing it on a phone screen would be futile anyway. You can't see enough of the road while driving to successfully maneuver through town. Responsiveness to movement on foot or behind the wheel keep it from being a 5 star game, but it's still fun.

I love it, took me sometime to purchase this one considering I never tried it before. Rockstar games did an amazing job on this game. The graphics look great with the kind of presentation it brings. It's no third person camera but it is great with the controls as it brings back memories of the old days of gta. The aiming is perfect as you can move and shoot the enemy with one easy button while dodging their shots. All in all, it brings a new gta gameplay story to my table.

I was tempted to rate 3 stars on this port. As I had it on the original DS and loved it and had a fairly decent amount of progress but rage quit this port several times. Mostly due to terrible driving controls. Which seems to be the biggest complaint. Thank God I found an option for analog steering in the settings. It replaced the buttons with the analog stick. Now steering is much better, faster, and more responsive. Now I feel like I should be able to make up my previous progress quicker.

Not bad, doesn't lag or glitch. I do have a couple issues, the biggest being that the game doesn't use the whole screen of your phone. I mean the left and right sides being cut off to fit makes sense but the game doesn't even touch the top and bottom of the screen which is just bizarre and frustrating, my phone could easily fit like 20% more on screen but it just... doesn't. The joystick is also pretty janky. Its a mostly functional port but not very polished, and hasn't been updated in 2 years.

One of my favorite gta games, great port with responsive controls. Would be 5 star but there's a bug where you are not able to use the handbrake. You're supposed to slide your finger from the gas to brake button to initiate the handbrake but it only uses the regular brake removing the ability to drift corners. This isn't necessary to complete the game but it is something I enjoy doing for fun so hope to see that fixed.

Update: after about a year and a half, I finally got my game to start! To resolve the issue with registration, I trimmed down the screenshot of my Google Play to make the ID larger. If it's not accepting your screenshot, try making the order number larger in the image. Game otherwise runs extremely smoothly. The angular overhead view takes some getting used to, and makes driving difficult. The on-screen buttons are pretty small, so I recommend using a controller when possible.
