Unfortunately this app has now restricted the number of people that can't be viewed from a distance. They want additional monies so that you can see people past 10 miles. Not an issue if you live in the city but if you live in the Rural areas it becomes a pretty worthless app. I've disappointed that they have made this change at cannot recommend it to anyone outside urban areas. it has also become plagued with annoying ads. sad to see a great app fall on its own sword.

After an update, it will not connect, I just get a 'retry' option which does nothing. I tried a force-stop, no change. I do not want to reinstall, as I will lose all my data. This is beyond frustrating. When I click on a notification that someone is broadcasting, I am navigated to a 'create your profile' page, no option to log in under my account. I sent a message to support, but surprise, no response.

Literally unusable. Refused to upload thumbnail properly, then lost all of my information on the creation screen. Then loaded poorly upon startup multiple times. Then accused me of being a bot. After the second time of being asked to complete a captcha I'd had enough. And now after giving it a second chance, it says that all of my emails are already in use and I can't reset their passwords because the password reset doesn't work. Just amazing.

Terrible spam that is getting worse. Annoying video ads which are horribly loud. Nothing better than being in a quiet place and having an explosion of sound to draw attention. Severe issues with message feature where messages just simply get lost or disappear. Long lag time between messages depending upon your connection to their server. But still the best app for connecting with this community.

I downloaded this app and it worked okay so I paid for a subscription. Then, it completely screwed up. It's slow. sometimes it doesn't work at all. It drops messages that you tried to send. It loses conversation threads. it notifies you that you have a message from someone and there is nothing there. All in all it's turned out to be a deep disappointment. if the messaging is working at all it puts the conversation thread out of order so it confuses thing and increases the chance for miscommunicat

This app used to be great but it has really not kept up with the times and has actually gotten worse. You are more likely to get messages from bot accounts (i had 25 messages when i logged in, all from bots). The ads in the app often play music even when your phone is on vibrate, and the interface hasnt really changed in the last five years (and looks like it was made ten years ago). I dont see how people justify the paid version given how terrible it is.

It's always been buggy. We hoped that they would be improvements with the new people that are running it but it's still just as bad. Dropping messages etc. Currently notifications are not working no matter what I do... cleared cash etc. Oh and there's no way to backup messages. Ever! so every time you have a new phone or hit thier really easy to hit button that deletes all messages you lose everything... It's not even compatible with backup and restore apps. WHY DO YOU LET BOTS OVERTAKE THE APP?!?!? I've reported easily a dozen! Server errors don't need to be happening. This app has been around for enough years now that you should have overcome that issue by now. You still can't zoom in on pictures, why is that? I don't want to touch the screen and save the picture, if I really need to save somebody's picture, I'll do a screenshot. There is still no incentive for me to buy a pro subscription when basic issues still elude your ability to fix. 🙄

it's an ok app. hate that you lose all messages if you change phones. also if none paying customer, the ads are so, so aggressive and intrusive. it will literally suck the life out of your data running in background. I'm ok with an app having ads to use it free, but this is ridiculous. also, good luck getting any help from support. 4 emails over 2 months still waiting for response.

This app helps in meeting new people, but as far as keeping in touch with people it's super glitchy. Messages get lost all the time, so there have been times were I've had conversations that would end abruptly because somebody's message got lost or didn't send properly. Recently the app has been doing this really annoying thing where you'll select a profile or message string to look at and it will keep going back a page about 3 or 4 time before finally letting you go to the page you want to go

When you change phones or reinstall, you lose all messages and photos. Seems like the install base is shrinking. "My Matches" function generates matches worldwide, but only a few of them will be local. The app has had some poor updates lately, and they still have problems with spam and scam. I've had to reinstall more than once because I could not access messages. Also, they need to give up on racial categories. We've moved on.

This apps been frustrating. It keeps glitching (constantly won't load profiles on the first try. Have to back out and click again once or twice for it to work...and then when I finally opens it, the message bubble icon is missing so can't message them. When that finally shows up, the message just disappeared when you press send, so doesn't actually send...or a message saying "sending..." at the top just seems to hang and won't send. Very frustrating lately!

Sucks to have ads that play music first thing with out being able to stop them for several seconds. If I wanted to be discrete I would choose a different app. The latest update added a line of thumbnails across the top of the page of local bears that show who is streaming live now from thousands of miles away!!? Why, when there is the full page option, and you can sort and see who is nearby? Bad update.

It seems that several issues with message sending and delivery that have plagued this app have been resolved. Though there are times when some typed messages dissappear as soon as you hit send. I think this mainly has to do with network connectivity. Update: the app was better for a while, but in the last year or so it's never been worse. Seriously thinking about canceling my subscription. The number of lost send messages and unnotified messages has gotten crazy. Stupid to continue paying.

Sigh. I like this app. Like the guys on it. Like the interface and design. Like how it's not constantly trying to force me to upgrade to Pro like Scruff. But OMG it gets buggier and buggier by the week. All it does it freeze and crash. Last night my account was suspended suddenly - think maybe because I tried opening it too many times as it kept freezing. Anyway. Just wish it would function a little more smoothly. It's crazy how bad it's been lately. Still hoping to see some improvement

Used to be great. Now full of glitches. The app frequently freezes, loses messages, sends messages two or even 3 times in a row. Sometimes it decides to send your message the next day, because it was tired? I guess? All of this is great if you want to look like a weirdo or a total jerk on a dating app. This app makes that effortless. On top of that, the AUTOPLAY ADS! Which stop any music or other media I may be listening to. And they're loud. I know you need ads, but think it through.

Messaging is glitchy and unreliable. I get message notifications of my messages, but they aren't downloading. No way to check for updates. And not much in the way of support. When it's working it's decent, but a long ways from being a leading choice in app selection. Ads are currently locking up the app and making it hard to navigate. I reported a problem but got no response. I deleted account and app. Only wish I could rate lower than 1 star. *Update! Still sucks!!! Update made it even worse!!!

It's ridiculous that this is the app that has the most expensive premium amount. People are actually paying for this app? You lose all your messages switching to a new phone. and then you have so many blank profiles in your nearby.. hahaha. Definitely not paying for this there are better apps for free and even come with mobile/ websites sites for those that want it on computer. Not sure what people are paying for. Someone unlocks pictures they want you to pay to see unlocked pictures. Never!!

You can't get rid of the Shout feature because of an error. Reached out to support for assistance. I received a response with a "solution" that had nothing to do with the issues I submitted which included screenshots. I reached back out for follow-up, but no response. They just want the money. I'm considering deleting my profile anyways. I have better luck on Scruff.

It works ok. Support is non existent. You pay for pro subscription. All you get for support is delete and reinstall. For Android users, all messages and contacts are lost. If your tech problems continues, well too bad paying member, you're screwed. It's annoying to no end especially when the problem is on the server and not your device. They refuse to address the problem.
