I travel alot so I'm always looking for some fun experiences when I travel. This app has offered some great deals however when I set the location to my destination it will recommend or give me deals that are no where near where I am going. For example If I am looking for fun things to do in Baltimore MD why would I even see a deal from Florida, Chicago, or even LA? So much waisted time messing with the settings after clicking on deals that were thousands of miles away & no facility nearby!

Very difficult to navigate. I wanted to clear my cart of 1 item but couldn't find how. Also bought a waxing for my wife but once it's paid for you can't transfer easily to another person. In fact I followed instructions and still didn't work . And I also had ads for businesses in other states.?? Made it very unclear with some. App sucks in my opinion. Not worth the effort to save a few dollars .

I redownload this app and quickly placed a few things in my cart. Great! I updated my card info, billing/shipping address, and hit order. The screen then prompted me to re-update or verify my info. Cool, whatever. I do that and hit 'Save'. Nothing. The screen acts like it 'refreshes', but does nothing. I go to live chat and attempt to talk to a support member and nothing I type shows up, then an error message appears. This app sucks. Like, really really bad.

Good deals and reliable reminders. Categories sometimes lacking options I'm looking for and app often pushes items I'm rarely interested in. Fine print information (shipping costs, etc.) sometimes tough to discern. But overall have found some good and useful deals. Groupon seems to do a good job of vetting their deals for its customers. One wish: when I click on the reminders on my phone(s) I wish they would disappear like for other apps. They don I must manually clear them. That's an annoyance.

I love Groupon! It allows the ability to try out new hairdressers, massage therapist ect without having to pay full price while shopping around for the best for you. The discounts on entertainment is amazing. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's extremely difficult to contact them when you need help. For example I purchased a Groupon & now the co doesn't have that deal anymore but I can't get a refund, which is usually quite easy, never had this issue before so I'm at a loss..

Groupon is a long forgotten service that is only useful for the occasional movie tickets and food deals. All of the products offered feel like cheap knockoffs and the app is a joke when it comes to searching for travel deals. You can only see deals based on the location you have set in the app, meaning I can only see travel deals in Texas even though I want to travel to another state or country. It's a dumb oversight.

the Groupon service is great and has saved me lots of money. I mark the app down because of its notification system. I look at items in the app, find something I don't like about it and move on, but then for the next several months I'll randomly get Andoird notifications about that same product with no way to say I'm not interested. I've had to disable notifications to avoid the constant annoyance.

The strike thru prices (the price they say is what the item would be) is completely ridiculous. They do this so the deals look extremely good. Some things are good deals though. But I seen 25oz bottles of Tresseme shampoo which is just store brand hair product that is probably $8 originally & the "deal" was $77.00?! Something's not right there. Also if will say such item for this good price & even displays the photo of the item, not once you are interested & click on it then select that item it will give a much higher price. Just another baiting tactic. But there are some pretty good deals of you find what you're looking for. It is an app with using if so.

Like it. Easy to use. Fast shipments. I bought an offer for a local restaurant that closed and it was difficult to try to get money back, AND the offer is STILL listed on Groupon, despite the place being closed. Also, I bought Groupon Select and that did not go smoothly either. Customer Support worked it out, but it was still a hassle and i did not find much value in the benefit. Cancelling asap.

Fantastic way to try out new experiences at a discount on a trial basis. It's just plain useful and saves me several bucks. Never had a bad experience. Highly recommend. If you're an especially good patron (i.e., provide tips in addition to services, vendors are more likely to continue membership at a deeply discounted rate. Be cautious when buying goods though. Never had a good Groupon experience with that.

I'm absolutely in a rage right now! I literally was charged for something I did Not order! I didn't even look at it. I had 6 items in my cart when I paid for it. Went back to look at confirmation email and had 10 things that were on the list! Shipping is more than cost of item. I will be deleting this app and NEVER buy anything again. Not to mention it was $150 more than I expected to spend! I'm so 😠 😡 😤. I would rate this a minus. Would NOT recommend to anyone!

Groupon can have some incredible deals especially if you use the discounts or sales that they have at the time of your purchase. I have had some difficulties with items that I did not receive. Its almost impossible to get any contact back from Groupon or the seller so that's a problem that needs to be changed but otherwise it's a good app and very useful

This used to be an amazing app. I've had problems with buying vouchers that would somehow get automatically redeemed, and not by me or by a hacker. When I actually do redeem a voucher, I get email notifications afterwards reminding me to use that voucher before it expires. How is that possible?!? The desktop and app platforms do not seem to be syncing with each other which is very frustrating. Groupon needs to get its act together quickly or they're going to lose a longtime customer.

I've been using Groupon almost since its inception. It's always been a great way to find good deals on things to do, innovative products, and vacation spots. Unfortunately I have become frustrated with the app since it suddenly refuses to show me things within my zip code. No matter how many different local zip codes, mileage limitations, or city names I put in, it automatically defaults to the largest urban area it can find which is a minimum of 60 miles from me. It is no longer fun to use.

It works fairly well, but on my tablet, some things suddenly force a portrait mode. It would be better to have more categories to browse through in order to drill down like most shopping apps. The selection and price is fair on standard items, but there are deals to be had with either patience to search or happening upon them. Definitely could be better but not bad either.

Do not get this app!!!! They have technical difficulties that cause expired deals to still appear. If you buy it you will then be told it's expired and can't use it. When you try to trade it in or get a refund the transaction won't go through and it will stay forever frozen. You will not get your money back and groupon pockets it. Groupon stole nearly $100 dollar from me because their app had technical difficulties and blamed me for it.

The app itself is okay, but the service is very poor. Had my purchase cancelled without notification that I didn't notice until I was at the event. Upon repurchasing, I faced an extensive process time (30m+) and ended up having to buy tickets at the door. Of course they were final sale so I ended up paying double for the event with no option of a refund. Thanks Groupon!

I used Groupon to get 4 tickets. All day it stated it was pending. I wait days for it to go through. There's no option in the app to cancel order. Called the number listed in the app, the touch tone wasn't responding so I called back then it says the number doesn't work. Tried 6 more times, nothing. Tried the email listed, got a response that the email doesn't exist. Called the number my bank had listed for them, it was a scam number. Finally trying to dispute with my bank. Never again!!!

Tried to purchase a deal, attempted to add two different credit cards to my account for the purchase. Every time I went through all the info to add the app said invalid info. Quite aggregating especially after doing it multiple times. I know both cards are good. Not the first time I purchased a Groupon. Not sure what is wrong with the app, signed in, good credit cards, good signal on phone, app needs help. Went ahead and paid full price just because we were there at the establishment. Not happy.

What a mess! Tried to cash in on a deal, turned out to be a nightmare trying to get refunded for something that was never shipped, had to settle for "Groupon Bucks" then when I tried searching for stuff I might actually use, the search was terrible. Searching for "cycling" have different results than "bicycle". It's also obvious they push certain "deals" (which aren't deals of you Google normal price). What a waste of time and money. Never again. NEVER AGAIN!
