Hands down best racing simulator game on mobile. A perfect example of why it is so much better to be able to purchase a game out of the gate and losing the "lifes, energy, coins etc." concept. Such a high quality game and blows RR3 out of the water graphically and audibly. Pair this with a controller and you have a true console experience on mobile. Only thing that would make this game better (in my opinion) is being able to purchase and customize your own cars and have your own garage.

Game would be perfect if it wasn't for the confusing & cluttered U.I. when it comes to changing options & picking cars. I literally can't find my way back to the traction on/off setting. Also there are literally no car customization options & the cockpit view isn't real to all the cars. Other than that I'm having a blast. Never had so much fun crashing in a racing game.

10 times better than any other mobile racing game. Graphics are amazing. The amount of tracks/circuits is phenomenal, decent car selection, all cars unlocked from the start if you want to just do quick race. Career mode is also fun and challenging. Touch screen controls take some getting used to, but I have to say the touch wheel works really well after some practice. This a full AAA quality game for your phone. Well worth the $, and it works on the Verizon Moto Z3.

This is an amazing port. I have played a lot of this game over the years on Xbox and PC. This is just as much fun. I was amazed at how well this studio ported the game. Running it on a Galaxy s8+ works fantastic. Optimization is great with graphics and battery saving mode. The studio also nailed the controls, which I was weary of. The touch, tilt, and gamepad controls are all immediately useable. Gamepad is obviously the best but if you don't have one, no worries. Great job guys!

The best racing game on the Play Store. This game beats by a long shot any other mobile racing game I have played in terms of the content it offers, the ultra realistic graphics and the variety of racing modes too. If you are willing drop a couple of bucks on a good sim-cade racing game, this is the way to go. To those who feel the drift controls are a bit off, I found it easier to play with the steering wheel, might help make the experience more enjoyable. Definitely worth my money.

The game is good to play and has great graphics. The only issue I see is when you use the controller or if you use the phone's controls every time you barely turn the car left or right. It constantly slows your car down a lot even on a straight away or a turn. I think the control need to be updated a little bit because how you supposed to pass any of the other cars. If you barely turn it drops your speed down by like 20 mph or more and most racing games don't have that issue

Controls are very hard to use, specifically with shifting. It was just not working for me, I only play on manual transmission with any racing game and this one was very difficult. On screen buttons would be better, I don't want to have to use unreliable device shaking to shift. Other than that, graphics are not bad, performance isn't bad, and gameplay has tons of variety which I loved but yeah it all ties back into the controls. Great controls are pretty much required for a game to be good.

It's a good game with very good physics, cars, and replayability. It lacks in the graphical department and hud customization. For some of us, our devices could handle the graphics optimization and probably be able to run it at 60 fps. It just looks wrong at 30. Another thing is being able to customize the hud. For me I use tilt controls and my finger always gets in the way of the mini map and the spedo. If we could change the positioning of these elements it would be better.

This is a platinum example of how a port should be done on Android, and Feral Interactive gives me hope for the future of Android gaming. Anyone familiar with the PC and console versions will find that there is little to no difference in gameplay. Graphics take a hit, but even so it remains one of the better looking games on Android, and even lets you customize your graphics via an .ini file. Very cool. That being said, you're going to need a flagship device to get a smooth frame rate.

Great game, exciting career mode, AI is really good. It's a complete game, so you have access to everything without ads or in game purchases which is refreshing to see on mobile. Main problem is that the cars are based on a central axis, so the physics when hitting other cars doesn't work properly, and high speed turning looks funky and the back wheels slide around.

Great Game!! Works perfectly on my Note 9 phone. Graphics are excellent and pairing this with a controller makes it almost perfect. They need to allow more granular control with the steering and throttle brake inputs with the controller. The gain is not adjustable in the settings. If they added that in the future it would tighten up the experience. I love not having any IAPs popping up. Just buy the game and play everything. Love it!!

This is an excellent port overall, and runs very well with performance setting graphics on my Galaxy S9. I would like to suggest that there should be more versions of touch controls. The current touch control setup makes it troubling for me to brake into corners and steer at the same time. Having two direction buttons for steering on one side and having the brake button on the other would be nice to see so it would be better for some to control their car when cornering.

Good physics, bad controls. I come from playing RR3 for years. The physics in GRID are far more realistic, however the tilt controls are simply impossible. I spent well over an hour in the settings adjusting tilt controls and using the advanced gyro settings, and I could not find any setup that I liked. Also, sometimes the car appears to be sliding even when it has full grip. Very confusing, feels like driving a boat. If these get fixed one day I will give it another try.

This is top shelf, and a benchmark example with which to compare other Android games/ports. It's not the definitive version, that will always go to PC. But you don't miss much, and for my phone (Galaxy S20+) it's a bit better than on the original consoles it was made for since has a 60 FPS mode. It drops to 48 or so after a little under an hour, which is basically the same performance as the Switch version on performance mode. Good controller support. Hats off to Feral for the amazing port.

Graphics are out of this world for a phone. The driving mechanics are spot on and are captivating throughout playtime. Game is/can be tough without a joystick to really control the cars on the designated "Drive Line" but makes it a lil more fun in a sense. Been a huge Grid fan from the first one on consol and have been enjoying the heck out of the mobile version and racing in the go!

Really needs multiplayer but otherwise a lot of fun. My son has the switch version which has it, but I have android and iOS versions and cannot race with him. This is sad since this is the only real racing (mostly) sim for these devices. He also has the iPad version but same problem. And the PC version has long been delisted from digital storefronts.

This game is incredible but I have TWO issues There is a problem with the team radio, it never works. As soon as you use a flashback or pause the game the radio will forever be stuck on "NO UPDATES" from your engineer and honestly I love to hear them for the immersion. And another is a fail on CodeMasters themselves, the ai simply sucks, they just don't acknowledge your existence so you either play baby mode ai or you roadrage ram into every corner to move into higher positions.

I want to say it's awesome, but the drifting part absolutely breaks it, you have no grip, you cant control the car, it's like you're on ice all the time, no matter how much you "tune" it, & the fact that you're forced to do that as part of the tuner series is way beyond frustrating, the difficulty controls need a little bit of reworking & the vibration every time the tc activates or you drive over rumble strips or grass is extremely annoying , especially since theres no option to turn it off.

Edit: Ah, finally the game has been updated! Thank you Feral!! I've been playing the game, crashes do seem to be much less frequent (I don't think there are any anymore). 4 stars due to missing local multiplayer, but if you want a single player racing game that is honestly beautiful and (once you get the hang of it) a really thrilling experience. I doubt even local multiplayer will be added in the future, but never say never. Thanks again!

Despite Wreckfest and some other console-grade racing games being ported over, GRID Autosport remains as not only the best mobile racing game I have ever played, but one of the very best mobile games I ever played in general. I used a Galaxy S8 and not once have I experienced any significant slowdown, freezing, and crashing in any way. And to think, this was a console game. For the foreseeable future, GRID Autosport is a must play for absolutely anybody. Spend the $10, you will not regret it!
