Unless you get with a great alliance from the start and can grow fast, it's very p2w. Even then victory isn't guaranteed and it takes forever.. it's an rts with a world end date, addicting? Sure, but alarms never work and you'll lose a ton of progress in a wink.. Edit: one year later: classic app is shutting down so this can take its place? but this app is buggier can't activate email account for whatever reason.. will not resend to my email so idek with inno anymore. *misses alpha, beta, gamma*

5 stars because of quality of this game. I have both the old an new app on my phone and honestly... I prefer this one. It just seems more comfortable. The old app seemed limited. My only problems. The is no way of using bb code except just type it out. Font and buttons are much too small with a curved screen phone and portrait mode. Needs a rotate option. And some feature glitch and are un able to be clicked on. Other wise stop the hate and just play

That's just porting the web version to customised mobile web browser and it's totally useless if you want to play this game for real! Old Mobile app for Android was something you can use when you're away from PC to perform basic game tasks like attack and defend but now you're forced to play it like you're playing it on mobile browser Bottomline, if you're new to the game don't even try it ... Thank you Inno ... many "old" players who relied on mob app to play when off the PC will quit playing!

I have been playing for years off and on. There is currently a bug with the new update it won't let me log in, I reset my password several times and still won't let me. Please fix asap! Thanks

App is awful. I registered on desktop using Google, but I can't log in through Google in the app so I can't use the app.

Exciting to see that the distance between Desktop and Mobile UI is being narrowed. The App is smooth overall and you can access the Overviews that the old mobile app can't-- which is very convenient indeed. It loads faster than the old app and has smooth transition between diff game windows. Looking forward to improvements such as enlarging certain icons on-screen and perhaps adjusting the sizes of a few selections to better fit the Mobile UI without dismissing the overall Desktop look.

Love the game but this app isn't it. Doesn't even open 90% of the time I try to use it. And when it does open, it won't save my login info so I have to log in each time.

I registered on the browser, and I can't login to the mobile app, it say the credentials are wrong even when the same creds work in the browser version. So I can't even use the mobile app.

I appreciate this version is relatively new so I hope the issues won't be long-term. They imported the UI from the website to your phone. This makes the text and certain buttons incredibly small and therefore difficult to consistently tap. This makes the app unwieldy to use. The UI also flashes off-and-on occasionally on my phone which is off-putting. Unlike the PC, the tool tip showing a building's resource cost does not display due to a lack of cursor. The old app had an interstitial message.

The game is fun on PC but it barely runs in the app. Controls are finicky and it takes forever for the world and interface to load in.

I love the game, but the amount of cheating other players do (VPN hiding and playing with multiple accounts) nothing is ever done to stop it. The "mods" are on the world discord chat talking to players and befriending them, so don't bother placing a ticket because nothing is done even when you show innogames proof of breach of rules. Grepolis is an innogames ATM machine, and if players are using lots of gold, they are happy to turn a blind eye to their cheating. Don't waste your time and money.

Do not play I woke up this morning to half my cities being taken and no notification I've played multiple times on different accounts love the game but my premium ran out and within days I stopped receiving notifications of attack...not the first time it's happened

The game itself is good, as good as it was 10 years ago, but the app is just horrible, not optimised at all, slow, the menus horrible to use. You are better served just using your browser on the smartphone and loggin into thw website

I have been playing this game for years and unfortunately I'm seriously considering to quit the current world and no longer play future worlds. The mods that 'police' the game are corrupt, inconsistent in their rulings and lack any transparency. Until this issue is addressed DO NOT download or play this game.

Played this game for over 10 years and initially, it was a great game, but in the last few years, the ingame mods have undertaken a my way or the highway attitude and implement the rules with favourable consideration to heavy spenders and ban players for alleged use of bots/illegal scripts when they aren't. All in order to put their fingers on the scales to help their friends. Especially Community Manager Mike. Unequal application of the rules. Good game ruined by a tyrant.

The "new" app for this game is basically just an extension to the web version, which I could've already played in my phones browser. At least add a portrait mode so I can play one handed! I'll be playing grepolis classic and then will probably quit when that is discontinued. Other than that, it's a good game. Has the usual pay to win experience in some ways, but also gives you a way to earn in game currency without buying it which is nice.

Just tried using the new and updated app and it's absolutely miserable. Landscape mode instead of portrait so now I can't use it one-handed everything it became much smaller and it keeps asking me to rate the app. It won't let me write it I had to come through another channel to do it but the pop-up keeps coming up and I can't even play because all it wants me to do is rate the app and then tells me I can't. This needs to be fixed immediately. Also, once I'm signed in KEEP ME SIGNED IN!
